If your looking for live fish, Asian produce, Asian pastries and much more you have come to the right place. I wouldnt recommend someone with a large wheelchair to come in, only because it can get crowded to maneuver. On a less busy time, then you wouldnt have an issue going around. I really any the fresh pastries they have there. If you havent tried any, try the coconut creme buns, the steamed pork buns with quail egg, the egg tarts, steam buns with bbq, fruit cake, etc... if you cant handle the smell of fresh fish, I wouldnt recommend going to the back of the store. All the fish are towards the back, so stay away from that area if you cant handle the smell. If you have food and nutrition money you can actually pay for bread products in the pastry area. Just let them know you want to use your ebt card. They are very accommodating and nice about everything. The place gets busy so expect to wait in line.

Lots of Chinese vegetables to choose from but not always fresh looking. They are stocked with a lot of Asian ingredients and spices which is a plus.I tried the beef chow fun and pepper steak from the restaurant inside and I would give that 0/5. The chow fun was over cooked which made all the noodles stick together. Good chow fun’s noodle is glossy and separate with crunchy fresh bean sprout and the taste of wok hei. The dish I got was dull, sticky, super soft shredded carrot and bean sprout. I have nothing good to say about the pepper steak since that was my partner’s dish. I didn’t except high quality meat from either dish.I’ll definitely come back for the Chinese vegetables and maybe try their steamed buns.

Always a fun place to shop. The seafood area has many different types of fish as well as shell fish. The grocery isles are stock with asian goods as well as international foods. The produce area has fresh choices of vegetables and fruits. There was a dining area prepandemic but it is not an option at this time. They serve all kinds of cooked meals and drinks including bubble teas, duck, and pork dishes to name a few.

Great place to shop for Asian specific foods. Large selection of snacks, candies, and drinks for those interested in something more familiar. But also a very large selection for other Asian goods.I would check the expiration dates before taking home, and potentially eating. Some things will not have expiration dates, and some have production dates.I would also highly recommend grabbing the google translate app and using the lens/camera view to quickly translate things if the pictures dont make it obvious. This will give you a pretty good idea of what you are getting.

Located at the heart of the Triangle, the Grand Asia Market is the most popular store of Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and other Asian products, imported groceries, and items here. Fresh meat and live seafoods are also available. It has a bakery and restaurant inside. My wife and I usually go here and it’s a nice place with diverse people too!

Groceries are great but there needs to be someone who speaks English on the restaurant side. This lady took my pink slip and walked away to answer the phone and my pink slip was sitting behind the counter, a different lady throws away my pink slip and when the other lady that came back from the phone call was telling me she couldn’t give me my food because I never gave her a pink slip when it was thrown away by a different lady. I tried my best to explain the situation but they kept telling me to wait and so I waited for a whole hour.

I was finally able to find fresh Thai basil! This store sells mostly Chinese items, but their produce is full of items for Chinese, Thai, Indian, and other Asian cuisines. This place is great to buy variety of Asian stuff. The best is the bakery / steam buns section and food court. Their customers server is been a roller coaster up-and-down. Most of the people should know me by now, because I always order at least one dozen of BBQ pork steamed buns and 4 to 6 salty savory tofu soup. I’ve noticed when my order is big and other customers order is small they tend to take the small order first even when I’m ahead of them. Yeah, I can understand that. But once they start to prep my order that’s when the line start to pile up behind me. I think they need to have a good team coronation to work. If someone is busy help out. I know there where two cashers there and one of them was not that busy she should of like help out a little. Like be more flexible you know what I mean.

Too expensive. Most of the items here are getting too expensive. They may be about 100-200% more expensive than before the Covid 19, compared to 20-30% in local supermarkets. The only way to make them reduce price is to stop shopping here and wait until they offer better prices.

Great for hard to find asian products. As an inspector by profession I must add that their merchandising of product is against FDA code. Some product was merchandised on the floor and many items were merchandised off a 1 board on the floor in front of gondola. This is one a trip hazard and two a violation of food code as it must be 6 off the ground. This helps to curtail rodent and bug infestation. They likely have both. Cleanliness was a concern of mine there. I would recommend their sealed products and to wash them when home. Parking was a little odd. They require masks.

The purpose for coming to this place this weekend was because it was too far to go to Chinatown in NYC to satisfy a craving.Filipinos call it taho. Im not certain what its equivalent name would be in Chinese; make no mistake that this concoction is very much ingrained in both cultures.Way before boba tea became a thing, there was this delicious street food. It consists of soft tofu, boba/tapioca pearls, and a generous helping of some sweet syrup. You can slurp it down by straw, spoon, or the mouthful and it can satisfy the need that you may have for it.The sign in English said sweet tofu with boba, and the picture pretty much encapsulated what you get.If this writing has gotten you wanting for this as well, please know that it is a weekend or holiday only treat, so plan accordingly.

This place is great. I went a few weeks ago to pick up a few skincare products, and saw a beautiful unicorn cake in the bakery display case. I called the next week to ask about how to order one for my daughters birthday, and customer service was great; they answered all my questions and were very friendly. The following week I went in to place my order, which was very easy. They asked me which flavor I wanted out of vanilla, chocolate, or coffee, and then blue or pink icing. I chose vanilla and pink. A few days later I came to pick it up at the designated time. It was gorgeous, and perfect! The unicorns horn and ears were beautiful fabric accessories adorned with faux flowers. My daughter also loved it when I brought it out for her! When we cut it open, we were surprised to find strawberries and kiwis, but it was delicious! Googling leads me to believe it was a fruit cream cake. Happy to say we have discovered a new type of cake we love! Thank you so much for the beautiful and delicious cake!

A very nice place to shop for asian food varieties you typically wont find in your average grocery store. The produce looked very fresh while I was there. And the meat is extremely fresh l, especially the fish. The bakery at the front seemed especially popular though we didnt try it. We loved browsing the store, the spices and oils and chilies were of large variety and there was a decent selection of noodles and dumplings, buns and potstickers as well. Love that this place was organized and easy to navigate. Note that there is a little bit of a smell with places like this.
