If you call Terry Supply, Crumpton, Airgas, and other places, youll find that this is the most rip off welding materials/gas supplier out there. I wouldnt go here if this was the last place that had Argon.

I have purchased multiple times at southern. Most purchases have been pleasant. I purchased a tweco 3 in 2 suitcase welder there several years ago and have used it regularly without fail. The machine is fantastic. About 3 months ago I walked in to purchase a couple rolls of welding wire. When I found what I needed I put them on the counter. The rolls were labeled 34.99 each. Their representative rang up the 2 rolls and said, 97 something. I said, excuse me. He replied. $97 and whatever the change was. I said something is incorrect, there are only 2 items and they are 34.99 each. He said, oh. That’s the new tarrif tax. I am like no thanks.I pick up my phone and call Crompton. They answer and tell me they multiple rolls of wire the size I need. They are $25 each. I ask about special tax. He says, No. just the regular 7% sales tax. I said, No tariffs? That hasn’t taken place yet.I am under th impression that tarrif tax isn’t supposed to be added to the bill. It is supposed to reflect in the price of the product.
