As a huge marvel fan I love this shop, everyone is always friendly and helpful, with a large array of comics and graphic novels, its definitely not one to miss ❤️

Great shop, currently only open for click and collect sales but dont let that stop you trying it out.

Really nice staff! I went in for the first time today and the owner introduced him self and was generally a lovely guy. He told us what was what gave us any help too. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic independent Comic Book shop, Noel the owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful in suggesting titles. A great selection of comics including lots of indies as well as well as the big two, loads of back issues and a regularly re-stocked 50p bin. Couldnt ask for more and have now set up a pull list.

Very friendly locally run small comic book shop. Had a lovely chat with the owner while I was walking around and would defo recommend having a pop in. If you cant find what you want, the store will happily talk with you and find something you like.

Absolutely fantastic store, I play Magic the Gathering here extremely frequently. Noel, the owner, is a fantastic dude and offers a massive selection of comics, boardgames and card games for purchase. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect and tiny comic book shop thats almost hidden away; complete with lovely staff that really made us feel welcome and they really know their stuff too!) - theres even a Magic/gaming room stashed in the back, definitely worth frequenting on a regular basis!

This is by far the friendliest comic shop I have been to. Noel, the owner, is an incredibly kind person whos happy to have customers in for a chat and to show them how to play a wide range of card games or to help you find the latest comic book you want to read.The shop isnt easily wheelchair accessible as it is a small room with a step up to the shop at the door however Noel would happily offer to help you out with entering the store and will clear room for you to move around.Price wise, the shop is incredible. From comic books costing 50p to card pack boxes costing around £100 (depending on the time you buy them in relation to their release date). Overall, with the price, the shop is honest and prices items at better prices than a lot of other stores. The variety of products they sell is very large too. From door mats with comic jokes on them to tables made from cutting of old comic books to clothing and cup merchandise for comics. They also sell Manga, several card games (mostly Magic: The Gathering) and the usual comic book store paraphernalia.Regarding card games and the such, That Comic Shop host nights weekly when the community can come in and play them against / with other people who have the same interest / hobby. It doesnt matter if you dont own a deck or such as they have multiple spare for you to use for the day and its not just card games they host. They also have a chess night and some other board game nights.In conclusion, That Comic Shop is by far the most friendly, welcoming and caring comic shop I have visited in England so far. It is a real center of hope for the few people who go their daily and is a truly wonderful part of the Preston community. If you ever do pass through Preston, I highly recommend visiting That Comic Shop to see just how important it is to the smaller side of the community who are interested in the store. Five stars is the highest rating I can give this store on this site but its a true understatement to just how perfect this little store is.Thank you for reading

Finally got myself round today. Noel very friendly and helpful. Ive now placed my monthly subscription orders. No need to travel to Manchester to get my comic fix.

Terrible lay out. Staff were more interested in playing card games than helping cusomer. Stock is limited at best. Probably the worse comic shop Ive ever been too. avoid disappointment by avoiding this dissapontment

Fantastic, friendly place! The place l first learnt how to play Magic the Gathering just over a year ago now, and I still go to as many events as I can.

This is my local comic book store and I visit each and every week for the latest releases. This is the only shop of its kind in the Preston area, and I would highly recommend the shop to anyone interested in comic books.I have known Noel, the owner for a very long time now, and he is a friend, he does go the extra mile to help the customers out and anything can be ordered in. Customers can set up a pull list where their favourite titles can be reserved and picked up so they do not miss a single issue.Also the shop has weekly card games and board game nights, and sells these as well.I have been a long-standing regular customer for a long, long time now. I remember first setting foot in the shop in 1989! It was known as Thunderbooks II back then and later became Star Trader in the late 90s, before becoming That Comic Shop in 2006. I feel like I have shared quite some history with the shop over the years, and have many fond memories of this place.

Always helpful always friendly; exactly how a true, independent comic shop should be!
