I had a last minute change of date for a trailer rental on the following weekend. The outlet for the previous rental couldn’t provide a trailer for the new date. I went down the road to Foster to see if they had a trailer. KV welcomed me, found my cancelled order online, fixed the date and gave me a better pickup time. I didn’t have to do anything. What great, friendly service!

***Update: Thank you for the quick refund***I recommend just stay for a receipt if you are there to drop it off. Take a photo of what comes in the truck before you drive off. Not going to make this mistake again.How many times do I have to deny a dolly and furniture pads?I requested only a furniture dolly online.They transferred my order to another store and gave me only the furniture dolly.When I dropped the van off, they told me I could leave and they will email a receipt.And then they charged me for furniture pads and dollys that were not even in the truck. But the online people say It looks like it was in the truckWell it wasnt and the furniture pads and dolly are a friggen scam because they keep adding it back to your order if you want it or not, and then I have to play He said/she said to get my $12 back.Never leave before a receipt, dont trust this store.

I reserved a 15 foot truck for a one way trip to the other side of town. When I arrived to pick up the truck the employees were ready to look up my reservation and answered any questions I had. The check in was easy and fast. The new online vehicle inspection was handy because the truck I rented had one more mile than the reports indicated, it was easy to photograph and document discrepencies between the online documentation and the website. One thing I discovered is that if some one uploads a picture with a mirror-left-right setting on the camera it may confuse customers as to which side of the truck is damaged. Otherwise I had my rental and all questions answered in under 15 minutes. Starting the move this way really took a lot of pressure off.

Great service and very helpful staff. I needed to reserve a truck and it was cheaper going in and making a reservation in person than making one online. The employee who helped me answered all my questions and had me ready to go quickly. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs to reserve a vehicle or pick up moving supplies.

We have rented vehicles from this location a few times now. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. I forgot the employee’s name who has helped us out both times that we’ve made reservations this month- thank you for your exceptional service.

We were very impressed with the young gentlemen on July 5th at Foster uhaul! He was by himself and he addressed everyone in a professional manner. Very fast and in tune to what was needed! He definitely needs a raise and promotion! Keep doing what you are doing,and thank you!!

Had no issues picking up the trailer I rented.But i returned it and some chunky guy was to lazy to unhook it when i returned then had me put the trailer away he said he would check it in.I rent from uhaul alot and normally i get a e-mail within a hour or so.Not this time it been 24 hours and they still haven t checked the trailer in.I better not get charged for anything extra or fatty is gonna get chewed out.do yourself a flavor hire some good help.your customers should not need to do your job.

We bought a trailer off Craigslist and needed to get a new hitch in a hurry to get us home safe with our new RV. The manager was outstanding! He custom fit a hitch for our truck, made sure our brake lights worked (and fitted us with temporaries when they didnt!), and was genuinely so helpful and made our experience so much less stressful. We appreciate your help so much!

This uhaul in Portland helped me out from thousands of dollars, and a lifetime worth of stuff that was about to get abandoned. Everything including my identity was in the back of the broken down truck and they were the ones helping me literally get my life back on track, thank you. Words can not get through how grateful I am for the service. Please tell everyone who wants to move about this facility and how awesome they are! The folks here were quick, friendly, and professional. I found it extremely easy to get what I needed when I needed it. As I was leaving, I saw that this location also had a place where people could donate their used boxes for other people to use for free. This deepened my appreciation for this particular location. I will think of these folks first when I need uhaul again in the future.

The two at the counter today 5/6 need better communication skills. Came in twice and was told I could use my debit credit card and then once I got there they told me I can only use major credit cards.

TL;DR I got charged for fuel I didnt use and customer service has been unresponsive.When I got in the truck, it had less fuel than what was marked on the form (fuel that I would be responsible for replacing). I told the guy working there, who was moving trucks around in the lot at the time. He said hed fix it in the computer once he got inside. Apparently he forgot, because I got charged for the missing fuel (I did replace the fuel that I actually used). Ive contacted them about this and was told on three separate occasions that a manager would get back to me about it, but they never have. Ive finally given up. :(

Used a 9 van for a day and it was exactly what I needed. Purchased a bag to protect my mattress while I was there, but it was a lot flimsier than I anticipated and ripped.No real complaints, just do research on bags for your mattress before purchasing one. Learn from my mistake.

This is the 2nd time I have rented at this location and when I return they say they Im good to go and then way over charge with no explanation of why and no breakdown on the invoice. Rented a trailer that is 29.95 per day, had it for 20 hours and they just ran my card for 119.80. Showing i returned the trailer several days in the future?? After 15 minutes on the phone to corporate they told me they called the store and they had made a mistake and would correct my invoice. They have done that now, but watch out, this is the 2nd time something like this had happened at this branch to me.If you need a Uhaul store do your self a favor and go to the one on 82nd across from Clackamas Town Center.

Don’t come here if you want quick and efficient costumer service. Three costumers here and took 45 mins to get a truck rental.

I guess it was my fault for not checking the mileage before I left but I was charged for driving 60 miles when I only drove 25 at the most. The ridiculous part is that it would have been nearly impossible for me to drive 60 miles anywhere in Portland during rush hour in the 2 hours I was gone. The manager gave me a fuel credit on my next truck which is a meager offer compared to the $25 I was overcharged, but since I cant prove the mileage was wrong or that I did in fact only drive 20-25 miles, I guess I just have to eat that fee. Awful experience all around. My coupon is worthless since I will never give my money to this company again. Pro tip: check your mileage and gas tank. Dont let them rip you off!

Typical U-haul location but I will say unlike some other locations this one moves pretty quick inside so if you go and there is a line it should move pretty quick.

Really impressed by this location.Let me state the history of my usage of Uhaul first: I have used Uhaul for the past 30 years and maybe 5 different moves overall. Used them in CA, East Coast and in Oregon. I don’t typically look forward to dealing with the company because my impression has often been of a quasi monopoly in short term box truck rentals, flaky services, aging semi-safe vehicles, opaque pricing and nonchalant staff.But this time, maybe the location, maybe Juan who handled my reservation at pickup and drop off, maybe just luck: everything was great. The truck was brand new and other vehicles all looked great on that lot. The new mobile app made things easier. The packing materials affordable. The service I received was helpful, prompt and friendly. I am impressed and super happy I used Uhaul. Keep it up!!

Was easy to rent a trailer, didnt have to wait as there were no other customers on a Tue night 30 min before close.

They still have not returned my deposit money after 9 business days at this point.

Yesterday i reserved a trailer online for company use using a company cc. after confirming with the regional office minutes after making the reservation we thought everything would be ok. upon my employee arriving the next day to pick up the trailer he was denied the pick up per the name on the company cc did not match his name (which was informed to U-haul upon making the reservation). per Will at this office he gets alot of shady people coming through his location and he wants to run a tight ship. per his recommendation we were able to pick up the trailer at another U-haul a couple miles down the road. unknown what the issue is at this location but id steer clear of this U-haul if trying utilize any of their equipment for anything other than personal use. thanks for the great customer experience Will!

IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE 3 HOURS OF YOUR TIME AND GET INSULTED, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.WHEN TO STORE AS BOOKED, FOUND OUT THEY CANCEL WITHOUT TELLING AND DO NOT HAVE THE TRUCK WE BOOKED. AFTER ARGUING WITH CUSTOMER, TOLD TO GO TO MILWAUKIE STORE THAT ARE 10 MILES AND 20 MINS AWAY AND WILL BE DISCOUNTED TO COMPENSATE FOR 20 MILES BACK AND FORTH. WHEN GOT TO ANOTHER STORE, STORE MANAGER SAID DID NOT HAVE ANY CONVERSATION WITH THIS STORE, TAKE FULL PRICE OR LEAVE. CALLED THIS STORE, WILLIE (THE OWNER WHO ARGUED PRVIOUSLY) INSULTED CUSTOMER AND SAID HE WOULD ASK AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THE OTHER STORE WILL DISCOUNT, COMPLETLY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WE WERE TOLD TO GO TO ANOTHER ATORE FOR.A DAY MOVING WAS PLANNED AND EVERYTHING HAD TO BE PUSHED BACK SEVERAL HOURS AND THE WORST PART IS GETTING INSULTED BY THE STORE OWNER WILLIE. DONT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THE SAME SITUATION.
