Great experience at HDR with my 1970 Honda CL 450. I had laundry list of little needs, wants, and questions, and Gage helped cost and prioritize the items. Work was carried out very well, and the twin Mikuni carbs dialed in. Shes being running awesome since.

After wasting hundreds of dollars and several months going from shop to shop I was finally referred to HDR. I have a 79 Honda XL500s that needed a complete electrical overhaul and Gage happens to know quite a bit about this bike that was only made for five years. Gage was very transparent about the whole process and I would get updates with every step of progress. Im confident I got the best treatment available in Portland and I will remain a customer should I need work done in the future.

I was referred to HDR by the folks at Cycle Heap a few years ago. Although I enjoy working on my own bikes sometimes, Im more than happy to have the HDR crew tackle things that are outside my skillset. I think theyve worked on 3 of my motorcycles now, and done everything from chasing down electrical issues to a full engine rebuild. The level of service, attention to detail, and caliber of work is better than any shop Ive gone to in the last 10 years.

Whether you need routine maintenance or custom work they’ve got you covered. I have a 2019 Triumph Bonneville 1200 and it’s clear they work on it with ease and expertise. Based on the variety of bikes that I’ve seen in the shop it’s obvious that they’re agnostic to all styles and builds. Try to take my Harley-Davidson now they denied me because it was too custom I guess they have seen the bike before and the dude didnt have the money to pay it but thats not my problem I had the money and it still denied me so take it for what it is

Fantastic service and work!

Asked to have someone take a look at a front fork for 30 seconds, told me to book an appointment. Couldn’t even have someone take a brief look to tell me what’s going on. Very short.

Gage gave my bike an oil change and tune up for a very reasonable price. Im confident he wouldnt suggest or charge you for something the bike didnt need. Ill definitely go to HDR again in the future.
