In a city filled with scooter and cycle repair shops, youd be hard-pressed to find anywhere better than Slabtown. Carter and Chris might be Americas last truly honest mechanics. They were the fourth portland garage I tried, and the last I will ever need.

Carter and crew have taken great care of my vintage Honda scooter and motorcycle! They tuned up the scooter and cleaned/synced the carbs on my moto. They also rebuilt the forks on my moto, completely transforming the bike. Both bikes run/ride better than new! Highly recommended, go check em out!

Not much to share yet. I checked their website for more information, then stopped by the shop to ask if they would try to get my Motto Guzzi running. Not exactly in their field, but they have the knowledge and tools to do it and we made an appointment..I will edit this after that time. ( The closest Moto Guzzi dealer is Seattle, that is a long way to push a Motorcycle.)Edit: On appointment day I pushed that 450 pounds of dead motorcycle to Slabtown CyclesOK, later now. I received a call that my Moto Guzzi was ready to ride. Much sooner than I expected. They diagnosed and solved the problems. Some were services the authorized dealer was supposed to have done and charged me for. My Moto Guzzi now runs......well, like. a Moto Guzzi. I rode it across the Hawthorne Bridge and back.Summary: Good work, completed early. Did a much better work than the authorized dealer.Motto Guzzi is running like a dream.. a 450 pound 2 cylinder 750 cc kind of dream.

I have known these guys for some time now, even raced around Tennessee with them. Im verry happy for them to have started a business on their own, they are truely some of the best in the business. Their knowledge and attention to detail is unbeatable.

I think Your place deserve a 5 star rating. The Work You did assembling My Scooter was awesome. But someone scratch My Barcode off My rear fender. So for that I rated My score on.

I purchased oil from them when I was in a pinch. He was very helpful and also shipped it to me no questions asked. I would 100% use them again.

Me and my son in law called around to diffrent bike places. All of them were a week out. Slabtown said about a week turnover. The were nice on the phone and seemed to be very responsive. We decided to take both are motorcycles there. Not only did they get everything right . They got it done in 2 business days. The price was great and so was the service. Carter and Chris have lived, eaten and breathed two wheels for as long as Ive known them. The owner knows his stuff around bikes, scoots or anything with an engine. A place to come for service/repairs needed to pretty much anything with 2 wheels. Definitely recommend as the staff makes it all worth going here. Cant wait to do more future business with them.

I live thousands of miles away, but I was able to get help over the phone and get my Zuma kitted , variator shimmed, and weighted correctly. Just by talking to Carter over the phone, it takes a special type of intelligence to be able to do something like that, this shop has that intelligence. ( I actually had a few shops not do a very good job locally, and had to resort to almost selling my scooter, but these guys saved me)
