Kudos to associate Courtney in helping us with our recent purchases. She was truly concerned with ascertaining our needs and went out of her way to see that we received what we needed. She is patient and courteous. And she knows her product.Courtney was most helpful in sorting out the problems with the erroneous confirming emails we received. Apparently those emails are generated from a remote location by people unfamiliar with our transaction. We would have given this review five stars, but the repeated errors in the confirming emails - still not resolved at this time - are a blemish on our shopping experience.

My helpful associate Christopher was AMAZING! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. He went out of his way to show me how everything would work and would look in my lamp. He even put in a variety of light bulbs of different wattages into the fixture to see which one I liked the best. I was incredibly impressed by him.

Found the perfect pair of lamps, on sale. The 2 salespersons were quick efficient and knowledgeable. They suggested 2 lamps that I hadnt even thought of and they were way better than what I had in mind when I went in. I love my new lamps. And then they told me about their light bulbs that last 15 years or are replaced. Who knew?

The Portland store was fantastic. They had beautiful and varied pieces. A vast selection of lamps, indoor lighting options, and outdoor lighting options. Excellent quality lamps. Also an array of decorative accessories. Excellent customer service. We purchased a beautiful tripod lamp for our living room, and two table lamps for our bedroom. Highly recommend!

Over the last 3 or 4 years weve purchased several light fixtures at this location on Hall and always had a good experience.Today we went in for two things, one was to get a replacement LED bulb for a chandelier we bought several years ago. The LED bulb was still under warranty so they looked for a replacement but for some reason the manufacturer changed the bulb so we couldnt get one that matched the one that failed. Instead of sending us away with one non matching bulb they gave us 10 replacements, no charge. The assistant manager, Robert, was so patient and helpful.The second thing we came in for was to find light fixtures for our hallway. At first we had decided to check a few other stores but after the wonderful service from Robert we came back later and bought three fixtures.Great store, great staff!!

Hard to write a review for a store that sells many different things, but this review is for a lamp and really the service. We bought two floor lamps at what I think is a good price. We decided we only needed one. The lamps were shipped to our home, but I took the return to the store. The whole process was simple and the folks at the store were great.

Made my shopping experience very simple and easy! They kindly answered my questions, and were very attentive in the store, but not overbearing. They had a computer at the front of the store that made it very easy to look at options online that they may not have had physically in stock at the store. We ended up shipping the lamp we chose, and doing that process from the store was very quick, and tracking the package from the email they sent me was easy. I had not gone into my local Lamps Plus before, but would certainly go there again.

These guys go above and beyond to ensure customers are satisfied when they walk out the door. We bought a 4-bulb light to hang above the kitchen island. One morning, shortly after install, we heard a CRASH in the kitchen; and, found one of the four bulb fixtures had worked loose, and was in pieces on the countertop. Lamps Plus has done a terrific job getting us replacement parts.

We are very disappointed with this store. We purchased a lamp only to find out it had a few dings and chips when we got it home. The salesperson was not very professional but the manager who accepted the return was very professional and curtious.

I hear great reviews, but my experience today was less than expected. I found a vanity light I was interested in on their site, so I called to check the availability before going in. Chris told me they dont have that one, but have the same light in a different color. I drove in and spoke to Chris who lead me to a wall of lights that were similar to the one I was interested in. When I said I was hoping to see the one...he interrupted me with a snide joke saying Ive been looking for the one for years I felt tricked into coming into the store to only be shown similar lights, and this isnt ok to me. Infuriated with the treatment and deception, I left without looking at any other lights. Thanks for wasting my time Chris. Just purchased the light I wanted on Amazon instead.

My wife and I had an awful first experience at Lamps Plus and never plan to do business with them again. We were searching for Dusk to Dawn Lamps for the outside of our home and the Lamps Plus representative, Richard S., helped us. We were looking for two lamps and ultimately ordered them online from Richard. The item was not in stock and were told it should be received in a week or so. Almost two-and-a-half months later (and several phone calls later to corporate) we finally received the item. Singular. One lamp. I looked at the receipt and, despite being told at the time that they were sold as pair (thus we only needed to order one), that did not appear to be the case. I immediately searched online at a home do-it-yourself superstore and ordered the second lamp -- which I received in less than a week for less than half of what Lamps Plus sold me the first. In all fairness, this review is being written during the pandemic; many things are backordered and take months to come in. I do find it odd, however, that the first order took over two months and the second order took less than a week. Maybe both stores received a massive shipment at the same time? Ill give them the benefit of the doubt. But the poor sales experience, being told inaccurate information, and paying double is unforgivable. If you look at my reviews, they are largely positive. There is always an exception to the rule and this is one of them.

I bought a lamp that was out of stock, so they shipped it to our house free of charge. There was a threading issue so we brought it in so the manager could take a look. After some time of trying to fix it we were walking out with a floor model, extra bulbs and parts. The lamps are pricey but the customer service is priceless, worth every penny just to have the company back up their products. Thanks guys for the awesome service.Edit: oh and they also gave us 70$ back since it went on sale after we bought it 2 weeks ago.

Needed help finding an appropriate colored but more modern looking shades for a pair late 40s Alacite table lamps. The gentleman (forgot to ask his name) I worked with was extremely helpful and patient in showing me the Spider style cloth shades they had in stock.While were ultimately unable to find a matching pair of shades I liked, the time he took and the thoughts a he offered were much appreciated, and ultimately led me to buying online from Lamps Plus a matching pair of Mission Style table lamps for another area of my home.I like to give my business to places that treat me well and competently and think you will be well served here. Was well worth the trip from St.Helens.

Variety of lamps to purchase. Catalogs for special orders available. We looked around for a suitable chandelier and we found a beautiful one heavily discounted and on sale marked down from almost $600 to $86 out the door. Lots of really cool modern styles and the traditional ones too. We ended up with a gorgeous Hollywood art deco style. Staff was very helpful and friendly too. Salesman wrapped it up, talked to us about installing, and even carried it out to our car for us. I will be back.

A big lamp store. I called a about a lamp I was interested in. Wanted to buy that day as it was a gift. Was told it was in stock. When I got there, in stock meant they could order it! Best you order on your own. I ordered from them since I was there. Came late but in good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful but this store is not convenient for those in the city center.

Went in here on a Saturday to look at ceiling fans. Immediately was helped by a man in a blue blazer, i think his name was Nelson or Anderson or something, he was more than helpful to explain the different fans available but he asked if we knew why our current fan wasnt working and suggested a couple of things. Sure enough i was able to get the current ceiling fan to work again. I will come back to this store when i need to buy something.

The selection goes on for days! Even after walking around the store or a multitude of times and finally selecting 2 perfect lamps I glanced over and saw I one that had eluded me.

Stacy gave us great customer service and didnt give up until we had found the perfect lamps! Even though we looked at every Tiffany-style lamp in the store, and some on line! We love our new lamps and will definitely be back!

Will give 0 stars if i could. Decent selection but corporate takes no responsibility. Ordered a lamp this December still have not received it. They use Ontrac for delivery which has a outstanding reputation for losing packages (just check their glowing reviews online). The shipment that was on delay on the 21st of the month got miraculously delivered on the 19th. I have ring on my front door and there is no movement there on the delivery day and no one called me. When I asked Lamps plus they asked me to dispute the credit card change, a claim they denied later anyway. My assumption is they delay resolution so you get tired and give up instead of going the legal route for a small purchase like this. Buy at your own risk.

Purchased a lamp from this store on December 14th. Still have not received it. They use ONTRAC for their deliveries which is notorious for losing packages. They never delivered the package and are claiming on their website they did. We have RING installed and there is no evidence it was ever delivered. We like the selection of lamps in the store but are very disappointed with how customer service is responding to our queries.

I have lived in Oregon 59 years and built many houses and bought from Lamps Plus. Moved to Florida 4 years ago and remodeling a home. I am ordering my lights from Lamps Plus so I thought it was time to write a review. There are many lighting choices out there but Lamps Plus has the best selection and prices. I have never had to return a fixture. The product shows up within days of ordering. No company in Florida is as good as Lamps Plus. So happy I moved and took Lamps Plus with me!

They are really efficient with warranty replacements. Ive unfortunately had 2 now but they are very helpful.

What a friendly store. I bought two edison bulbs and they came with a year warranty, had no idea! I came in to buy a replacement and was told they could take care of it. How sweet! I bought two more bulbs because of the savings!

My boyfriend and I came in and bought 2 lamps ($400) from this store a couple weeks back. Neither was in stock, so we had to have them shipped to us instead. We were advised by the salesperson that we would have them by early the next week at the latest. After navigating the horrible confirmation process for online orders (why do you have to open up a support request instead of just clicking a link to confirm????), they finally shipped out. After taking way too long to be delivered (a week to get from California to Oregon), they arrived. Via FedEx. We opened up the box on the larger floor lamp we got, and upon assembly realized that one of the hanging lights was broken where it fit into the main post, and could not support its own weight. In addition, after plugging in the lamp to test it, we discovered that two of the three lighting sockets had been installed crookedly, and the bulbs would not turn on (probably due to faulty wiring). The other, smaller lamp we got was fine, but it came in one piece with no assembly so thats not all that impressive. The bigger lamp, in addition to being defective, seemed to be poor quality. In order to make a return, you have to call their customer service line and get an RMA number, or they will not accept the return. Finally were able to return it, although they REPEATEDLY attempted to get us to exchange it instead. No thanks! A $300 lamp shouldnt arrive broken in the first place, I am highly disappointed and will not be returning.

My wife and are building a new home and decisions to be made were endless. We purhased a entry light that was very nice but to big for our need. We meet a sales person by the name of Sal and he was very helpfull. We bought anothef light and he said try it and bring back the one you want to return. Well we did exactly that a week later and Sal refunded our orginal purchase with now fuss, no complaint that we didn have the right box and just had it wrapped in some paper. We purchased this originally on line and the return to the store was no problem and certainly saved us alot of hassel. Bought a couple lights at their store. 3 fixtures for the kitchen. They dont carry inventory apparently, so they were shipped to our house. One of the 2 fixtures was put together wrong at the factory. Of course I didnt notice until after I installed it. So we drove 45 minutes back to the store to return it. They shipped another one. It had the same problem. I called and the gentleman at the store said that he was very sorry and they would do something for us when we brought the 2nd light back to compensate us for the trouble. Another 45 minute drive (each way) back to the store. They scratched their heads for a bit, looked at the light for a bit, then called out the manager to do the same and to approve the RMA. There is a light bulb there that I need for my microwave. I thought that would be a good compensation. The lightbulb cost $3. I brought up the fact that I was told that they would do something to make up for the inconvenience and that guy said I dont know what that could have meant. This is the very person that I talked to on the phone just before we drove to the store. Go figure. Hopefully its right this time. Home Depot next time I guess.EDIT, Just got the 2nd replacement light delivered . 10/4/19. Its wrong again.EDIT, 10/6/19. We brought it back again today. They swapped it out with their demo unit and gave us some money back to help, which is appreciated. That helps with gas, its 1.5 hour round trip, 3 times. If nothing else maybe they know how to deal with issues like this better in the future. To their credit, it was an odd situation with 3 bad parts in a row from the factory. Thanks to the people who dealt with us and helped out.

I came in to lamps plus with a very specific lamp fixture style in mind. The staff helped me find exactly what I wanted, and cut the price in half for me honoring a misplaced price tag. The fixture was easily installed, and is a beautiful addition to my home.

I like this store. They have a lot of great fixtures here. Really nice display room. Weve literally spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years. But the most frustrating thing is the lack of attention you get here. They often dont have enough people working and when you have a question its often hard to get anyone to help you because theyre all busy..But the very most infuriating thing is when Im standing up on front of the counter waiting politely for someone to help me and then you just wait and wait and when suddenly some old lady who just arrived and doesnt realize theres a line just walks up to the counter and the people at the counter dont have enough guts to say, Im sorry, maam. There are already people who have been waiting a while here. Let me get to you just as soon as I finish with them. The line is over here. So then she gets helped instead and I end up waiting ANOTHER 5 minutes. Just friggin rude!Sorry guys, but you deserve every bit of this 1-star rating.p.s. Good customer service would dictate that maybe you acknowledge your customers who are waiting and waiting for help. Just a simple, Hi there. Well be with you as soon as we can. Thank you. would take a lot of the sting out of the waiting time.

Ive never visited this store or purchased anything from their online counterpart. Yet, Ive somehow received a postcard solicitation (a coupon) in the mail at my new address with this specific locations address advertised on it.I have no idea how this company obtained my address for solicitation purposes, but Im leaving a 1-star review since I had to take the time to figure out how to remove myself from their marketing registry.

The customer service has not great on the several times Ive visited this store. It shouldnt be that hard to get the light bulbs you need. In addition, their own brand of Telser bulbs seem to have some severe quality issues, twice now Ive returned home with the wrong thing:- Once the box said 40w on one said and 60w on the other, it wasnt until you open the box do you find out whats inside.- The coloring of bulbs is different so some of the bulbs were amber and some were clear.Check each bulb before you leave the store.

They are great because they were helpful and understandable and willing to work with my budget.
