Really excellent customer service. Very highly recommended if you are in the market for woodworking or metalworking tools or consumables. Note that their showroom is a little small, so maybe call before visiting if you are looking to try before you buy.

Just purchased my third Powermatic upright machine from Barbo. Jim and the gang are great. I have not worked with Michael yet, but in listening to him deal with customers Im sure Id get the same treatment from him that I get from Jim. Jim is easy to talk to, knowledgable and helpful in his suggestions. The Gal on the phone is nice, and the gentleman who delivered (with lift gate) my bandsaw and planer was a huge help.I dont see myself going anywhere else for my woodworking machinery if they are in the ballpark price wise. Just good people and a great experience. If youre into the stuff they stock, youre walking into Toys-R-Us for people our age!

After having been screwed over by the big box stores one too many times I decided I had enough. That is when I found Barbo Machinery and Supply. Not only did they have the same drill press I was going to buy from the box store, they had it for $100 less than the big box store and I even got help loading it into my car. Their customer service is second to none and there prices are outstanding! Stop shopping at the box stores and start shopping at Barbo for any wood or metal working needs.

They were friendly and helpful, and if I had known about them sooner, I might have a whole shop full of cool tools by now!
