Cherry Sprout Produce is what you imagine to be a great neighborhood grocery store. Its an inviting space with loads of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a wide range of staples. Fresh bread is available daily. Prices are a little higher than a chain store but you get quality... and typically organic, products. This location also has a nice selection of wines and beers available. Outdoor tables are available. Masks are required to enter but they have some if you forget yours. Service was friendly and helpful.

Nice place, friendly service, returned my friends wallet that was lost. Found some peanuts that a sales guy used to bring me so many years ago, so got hit in the nostalgia. Some everyday brands, but mostly (from cursory looks) organic and healthy options. Had a bulk area for nuts and such, but didnt spend any time over there. Overall, enjoyed the visits.Thanks again

Great people work here and always try to make your shopping experience the best it can be. They are here to listen to your needs and will help acquire special products if their distributors carry them. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh and I am always finding new foods that are delicious that I have never eaten before.

Inspired little store offering great prices on produce—a mix of non- and organic—from Portland-area farms. They also carry other locally sourced staples including bulk items, eggs and dairy, as well as a few toiletries.Love this place cause its easy to stop and find just about everything you need to make dinner in a pinch, without feeling completely overwhelmed... Plus ample beer and wine choices to pair with it. 😋

I think the Cherry Sprout Produce is like the little version of New Seasons Market. Theyve got fresh and organic produce always on stock, and thats really their highlight. When you enter the place, youll be welcomed by sweet and calming music theyre playing in the background, which makes your shopping more enjoyable. They also offer a selection of other organic products (for eating, cleaning, hygiene, etc.) and bulk items which is why I call it the little New Seasons. I love that its so close to my place and that if I dont need much from New Seasons, I can simply go to them for something quick. You might not find everything you want, but for sure come have a look to see what theyve got. Im sure youll like it!

Cherry Sprout is a jewel of North Portland. Love the locally grown produce including unusual varieties of apples from Kiyokawa Family Orchards. Staff is always approachable and kind. The store offers the basic staples and healthy options in a quiet environment thats neighborhood friendly.

This is an incredible market. The fruit was so fresh and delicious and just what I needed. They provided phenomenal service when I couldn’t find what I needed and helped me find the best of what I was looking for. Great people and a great store!

Quality produce at affordable prices, both organic and non-, with an emphasis on locally-grown fruit, veg and small-batch products. Good selection of dairy, staples and bulk foods and spices, and a particularly well-curated wine section.The meat selection is, of necessity, quite limited; on the other hand, they’re well-stocked with vegetarian and vegan products and always have collard, mustard, and turnip greens. Want to buy yams or tomatoes by the case? Cherry Sprout is there for you. You can pretty much do all of your day-to-day shopping at the Sprout and feel great about it.

Great produce market. Often have good special seasonal deals. They have beer, wine, dairy, bulk, and enough packaged food that you could do most of your shopping here.

Wonderful vegetables, fruit, wines and vegetarian foods. Yes, meat too! Always a pleasure to see whats in season. Small local store with dedicated, picky buyers. Go, buy and enjoy.

I love this spot! You can get so many basics and specialty goods here. Staff opened up when we got over a foot of snow in early 2017, the only shop in the neighborhood that was open. Great bulk section, too!

Nice local market. The produce was pretty expensive but the atmosphere was really quaint and the emphasis on local goods was really great. I was able to find some local purple asparagus, of which I was unable to find at any of my other go to spots.
