Perfect place for buying your favorite cook something special. She was extremely knowledge and helpful to me for picking out a present. I didnt feel rushed. They have gift wrapping available. Its a little expensive but if you want quality over quantity this is perfect place.

I went there to shop for a birthday gift for my mother in law and the kind proprietress was beyond helpful! I believe her name was Maydie or Madie. She was quite knowledgeable and I was impressed by the selection of unique flavors. It’s mind boggling how different fresh pressed olive oil tastes from what you buy at regular grocery stores. I wanted to buy all the vinegars and oils. I will definitely be back!

I love the variety of flavored vinegars available here. I dont use the flavored oils that they have, since Im diabetic and reducing calories is important, but there are many flavors of those available too.The vinegars can be combined for complex tastes and are wonderful on salads. When we are all vaccinated and the plague is over, they may go back to offering free samples again.

Just finished cooking with the different oils I purchased, loved all of them. The peach balsamic was great for a vinaigrette

Oils and vinegars from Benessere have become a staple in our home. The selection of balsamic flavors is almost overwhelming. We started with a few favorites selected from the tastings we were encouraged to try and have expanded our range with every visit. The espresso balsamic continues to be a personal favorite that wakes up any salad.

I love olive oil -- as in, I paid to take a week-long 40 hour course on olive oil tasting and I have absolutely no professional tie to it. So I can say that this place has pretty good oil and the staff was knowledgeable about it, too. I almost gave this place 4 stars, because it doesnt have as much variety as I would love to see, but the quality of what they offer and the knowledge of the staff rivals what Ive seen down in the hands-down 5 star olive oil stores in the San Francisco Bay Area, so this smaller version in Portland is close enough. Awesome job, Benessere. I hope more people wander in and find out how cool you are, too.

Incredible olive oil and vinegar. Blew my mind. Also, I love that you can taste samples while youre there. Its somewhat pricey but well worth it, and they make awesome gifts!

We had a wonderful experience at the hand of very knowledgeable staff. We tasted almost all the oils! The vinegars are blow your mind good! It makes it hard to choose! Will be back for sure!

The concept for this retail establishment is quite novel, and very simple. Inside there are many cases of olive oil, tasting vinegars, infused oils, etc. Everything can be sampled, so the guess work with some of these more obscure flavor profiles is taken out of the equation. Bottles are provided on premises, and pricing is very reasonable. I recommend patronizing this establishment.

Like this place and have been a regular customer for a while having spent literally hundreds of dollars there... but today the Lloyd store was not open for more than 15 minutes past the opening time.Virtually no parking around their stores makes it difficult enough, so I felt lucky when I was able to snag a 15 minute parking spot nearby only to find them closed. I waited 15 minutes and called another store and was told “I’ll call the employee and see if he’s awake. He tends to oversleep.” Wow man! If you’re going to sell $30-$60 bottles of expensive olive oils and vinegar the least you could do is not waste my time if I drive all the way across town in Portland traffic to buy some! At least I could manage to make it to your store on time and I don’t even work there.

Wonderful product and selection! The staff is great! This place has a dangerous amount of delicious options!

Wonderful range of infused olive oils (eggs sunnyside up fried in black truffle olive oil is and especial favorite) and balsamic vinaigrettes (rocket with honey and ginger - whoo). These staple ingredients can really jazz up the entree sauce and salads, respectively.

Best place in Portland for olive oil and balsamic vinegar, love this place.

The Maple and Raspberry Balsamic Vinegars are both excellent on ice cream.
