Its a great Walmart in a bad part of town. They are doing the best they can. 🙏 I appreciate that they are able to put up with humanity. They deserve a raise! 🥰

Its a Walmart. We all know what goes on there. If you go in the back room it only amplifies the insanity. There are two good things about Walmart... They raise the standard of living for the lower class with their pricing and they give jobs to people who would normally not be hired by anywhere else.

Walmart is doing better. The outside isnt always the cleanest, but the inside has been tidy and organized. Bathrooms arent nearly as bad as some of their competitors. I wish they carried adult roller skates 🥺 otherwise I always find what I need.

The staff are very helpful and the store always has what you need. They also follow Covid measures.

Check this place out there 82nd Ave. location in Portland holds up excellent tradition of fine food and excellent service

Busy and slightly under staffed on a Friday: meaning about the same as most locations. The selection and pricing is still worth the trip. Self checkout can seem like a great option, but if you have produce it often ends up needing (an already busy) employee to come type in magic codes.

Was a amazing experience every step of the way, had a blast! Its a perfect place for you to go with the family, especially during the pandemic. There customer service was absolutely impeccable, and I would recommend you go here. Overall me and my familys experiences here has always been Amazing!

Easy and inexpensive “one stop” shopping spot to get things for my client

Doesnt matter how busy they are, they usually only have 2 or 3 registers open. This encourages a lot of people to take a cart full of things through the self checkout so those lines are crazy long, too. Trying to get assistance in electronics is frustrating because they usually only have 1 or 2 people working in the department. Even during winter holidays. The store is also usually messy from returns that havent been restocked and generally no one cleaning up. Of course, that is a lot to require of 2 cashiers

They need to improve and be more organized with the pick up orders

About what you’d expect from a big box + grocery store, except this one felt low on inventory in several areas.

This Wal-Mart is the worst. Waited over an hour to return online bought item, soon I got to the front of the line, they told me they cant return it and have to go to another store. At the same time, none of their managers even apologized for the long wait or try to find a solution. All they did is to push me out and tell me to go away.

This Wal-Mart is always out of stock of ice,the water refill station has been broken for 2 months now and when I tell customer service they say this is the Wal-Mart that time forgot, this is a poor neighborhood so corporate does nothing to make this store worth spending your money at,poor people deserve just as much as rich people and poor people is what keeps Wal-Mart in business, you should have more pride in your store regardless of its location 🙄

Friendly staff and easy to find what I needed. Check out was a breeze as well. I went early in the morning, so that is probably what made it such a peaceful and quick shopping trip.

Ordered a seafood boil for a birthday party to be picked up at 2. Then got a notice it would be delayed until 4. Showed up at 4 and the order had been completely cancelled without my knowledge. Not cool.

We can shop wide selection of items of groceries, clothing, toys, gaming items, electronic products. All products are affordable prices. Staff service is good. I could find my item real quick with help of staff. Worth visiting the store once

Well I finally have to pull a star, I was down to 4 based on every time I need anything from the bike case I may as well forget the call button is even there because you hit it, and wait wait hit wait flag someone down who is going tosend someone with the key over, then vanishes. So 30 to 45 minutes later here comes the guy, but wait he has 4 people in tow to check out, that all showed up 15 minutes after you started trying to raise someone so here goes another 15 or 20 minutes, so need a tire patch kit pump, whatever, kiss off 30 min minimum, then they had to take it to the infamous register 5. With luck you can get someone to hand you the stuff and go to self checkout, otherwise figure another 30 while 6 people try all 16 edges of a card theyve used for 5 years, then dig out the one with actual funds added

I havent been in a Walmart in two years. It was clean, organized, and bustling with activity...the best selection of board games Ive seen anywhere local and also lots of yard and garden even though its off season.

I am very happy to report that this store has finally stepped up its customer service to a level of acceptable quality after a long period of extremely poor customer service. So I say to you wal mart team GOOD JOB thank you.

The location is great right off the Interstate 84 which makes it easy to get there and out.

Didnt like the fact that I was next in line and an employee said that lane is closed even though there where people using it. She told us all go go to lane 3. I lost my place in line 😞 for her to turn off the register I was in and another employee came over and turned it back on. I dont know what your policy is if they really need to direct the people that had been in line first and waiting in line to the next register and not just have . people go at it as they please, no order. a better system needs to be in play, especially for those who have been waiting in line for a significant amount of time for apparently what seemed to be for no reason for her to turn it off except that she didnt want the extra work.

Always enjoy finding great deals at Walmart. Although lines were crazy at closing time. It was pretty ridiculous.

I love Walmart. But today i was in a bit of a rush and needed help getting someone to pull a product for me from a security cabinet.EVERYTIME they insist on leaving the item at the one register whose line is 4 times that of any other. They did this twice and i never had the patience to wait that long.I cant wait through one full cart much less 3 to buy one item.

How to say this fairly... given that I was looking for a wide variety of items (and one that was only at walmart) and it was after 9 pm, they were fine. I went at 9:40 pm. They had that one particular item I wanted, but it was stacked in sealed boxes at the end of the aisle, waiting to be restocked into the shelves. I asked a Walmart associate to help me, and she told me to wait half an hour until they started restocking. I had other items on my shopping list so I collected some of them for half an hour then went back. Same stacks of boxes and my items shelves still were utterly empty, although someone seemed to be rolling a cart around placing returned items back on shelves in that section. I went and shopped more. Finally it was after 10:30. I went back. Store closes at 11. Still the same empty shelves and bins and stacks of boxes. I started looking at the box labels to try to locate the item I had been waiting for, and an associate walking by told me not to open any boxes. Just wish *they* would! So, they had most of the other items I needed, but the item I had come to Walmart specifically for was in a box that the associates seemed determined not to open until the store closed. Is that a good experience or a frustrating one?

Well, ya know...It is a Wal-Mart. Low Prices and Low Amount of people Working the Registers. This Wal-Mart is kinda like Prison. The employees are there to do a job, but are not your friends. Haha! Nothing but attitude and Thats not my department responses. Good luck! May the odds forever be in your favor!

Always crazy in the store, but the lines were moving fast ,store was semi clean and well stocked

I called literally every department to try to talk to someone ( at 8 am on a Monday when it isn’t busy) and NO ONE answers. I wasted 30 minutes trying to get through to somebody anybody but NO ONE picks up the phone. Why even have a phone number? Is it that hard to pick up the phone?? Apparently. Everyone who works here must be extremely lazy.

Many, not all, if the employees treated me with contempt, suspicion, and neglect. Sometimes overcharging me, and yet tailing me as the thief. Prices were unreasonable at times and products, merchandise definitely not worth the price. I no longer shop there.

The staff was friendly, but the store was messy. I was there when the high school nearby was on lunch and the chaos level rose due to the rush of students. I will remember not to shop there around lunch in the future.

Does anybody in pickup/delivery know how to answer a phone?

Visited the store about a month ago. More than half of the items I was looking for were out of stock. The shelves looked half bare. The layout is confusing and the store is dirty. Help is nowhere to be found. Tried to make an online purchase today, the vacuum was out of stock and the purchase was refunded.There is nothing positive about this location.They should be ashamed of the upkeep of this store. But no one is, because no one cares.I would say avoid it if you dont have to go. Your items might not be in stock.

Its a Walmart, what do you expect? It has functional inexpensive things. Its not a *nice* store, but its an ok store.

High theft, in my opinion, most employees you ask questions to for help assume your going to steal, at least My family and I have been treated this way... Very busy store.

Their new greeter gal is awesome and bubbly which makes the whole Walmart process so much nicer. One of the employees picked up a spoon for me that I dropped and happily greeted folks in the self checkout lane. This is new to me having gone to Walmart. Would say it’s my favorite Walmart now.

Store is just too big! And itd be a Labor Day weekend it was crowded I just dont like all the people and you cant find anything because its so big and I couldnt find any help they shut the whole Health Department where you can buy pill white bed fit all that stuff they dont have any help back there on holidays thats why I gave it to 3

Eastport Plaza Walmart customer service sux. You have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for someone to come unlock any items in a locked case. They barely open any registers and half of the self checkout machines dont work so your standing in line for ever.. just poor all around. The Happy Valley Walmart is 100% better

Its great to have groceries and other merchandise @ the same location. Sometimes they are out of the products that I came to buy.

Walmart was excellent I was able to get all my food and my rent by Neil did not get the vaccine not enough time

They never seem to be provided with enough staff. Many are helpful but there are quite a few that dont seem to care about customer service.

Myself and about 25 others waited at customer svc. for over 1hr. There were multiple calls for back-up, nobody came to help the 1 person at the counter. Nobody seems happy to work at your store. Now I understand!! Brad

If I need to get something from a Walmart, I tend to go to this particular store because my granddaughter just happens to work at this one, so theres always the possibility that I will run into her if she is at work. Interesting fact, she has worked here several years. This is/was her after school part time work when she was in High School, and she has managed to hold onto her position there throughout her freshman year at Portland State University and maintains a good GPA too. Kinda proud of the work ethic that she exhibits and is learning. She is very self supportive and I see a very bright future ahead of her because she is not shy about going out and EARNING for herself the things she wants. And she often buys things for her little brother and others...

This Walmart had some pretty amazing nice high quality knifes and hammer hatches for cheap 👌

Balf the shelves are empty on a consistant basis, while other stores are fully stocked. The store is filthy and the employees all have a nasty attitude (except for the lady at the cosmetics counter, she is very nice). Ive never complained online or in person, but the lack of products is getting ridiculous. Its not because covid when every other store is stocked. Get your selves together.

Great prices but this location had too many empty shelves and very few variety to choose from.

I liked the stock and variety of material and womens clothing.

This is the most asset protected store ive ever seen. I literally laughed that simple white t-shirts are behind a locked case, lol... Might as well just post armed guards outside the building. Gives an idea of the people in the area though

I like shopping online, placing my order, and then driving up to many available parking pick-up only parking places and having somebody bring out my order to me. Ive always enjoyed the supercenter im a retired disabled former assistant manager for the company. One suggestion though not everyone is on a diet, or diabetic, there are people who can not have artificial sweeteners i am one of those individuals please quite replacing nonfat and low fat yogurts the regular yogurts are disappearing so fast and being replaced with ones i can not have.

As far as Walmarts go, this is one of the better ones. It has employees who are helpful and it is neat and clean. It is near my home so I am glad its a short drive to get last minute needs. Overall 4 stars for sure. A pretty good walmart with kind employees.

If you want too wait endless times for a simple return, be my guest. They keep one person open for returns, most likely purposefully.

Second time this month I had to return something because you cannot try on clothes. The return line is super slow. But this store has everything and its pretty clean and neat inside.

I went to get a few groceries and some gift cards for Christmas. Employees were helpful, but not without tracking them down. It was like they did not want to engage. Stop customer service could use some work. This is pretty historical for a Walmart store. I did give them a 4 because I was able to find what I was looking for. The lamb I bought want that great also not sure if it was Walmart or the pandemic.

I love this store it has everything you can possibly need to improve your household and the prices are reasonable. Always keeping up with the up to date clothing. One stop shop groceries, clothing, pharmacy, beauty supplies, sporting supplies, automotive and garden not to mention electronics! Its awesome.

I forgot how much money you can save shopping here! Just came in for some bathroom/hygiene items.Waited until 7 because those were the posted hours online and on the doors, but apparently they were open starting at 6am. More hours = great! Store employees have no idea how to contact a manager, customer service is always closed, aisles are a mess. Left in disgust after 15 minutes of trying to find any staff member who could do a basic propane exchange. Was told that there were no managers working on a Friday night. Pathetic.

Its a Walmart what can I say, but if you need a Walmart its there and you get everything you would expect. There are some other youthful businesses nearby.

Standard assortment of all walks of humanity in multiple states of flourish & decay. I hope the guest that left what I saw in the restroom(see picture) stayed safe throughout the rest of their day however long it lasted.

Money Center is never open when needed, Services employees are rude and unprofessional. Holgate Wal-Mart Money services needs immediate attention and better management.

Produce section is ridiculous. Horrible selection of terrible produce. The premade salads looked nasty.

It’s Walmart. It has a lot of stuff. It’s about the only place I can find certain comfort foods like Vienna Sausages, but they also had some local craft beer about $2 per 4 pack cheaper than anywhere else. And, if your looking for stuff for your RV it should be your first stop. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is so much stuff is locked up and you need to find an employee to open a cabinet and then you need to pay separately.

Walmart usually has it if not Walmart Supercenter probably will.

Looks like the third world Walmart shelves are empty people who work there had to check with three people to find something and the last young lady was very helpful will not return to this particular

They seem to have more than enough staff to help out new and old customers. That can be so helpful sometimes.

My girlfriend and I went looking for pots and pans and what we found was more than we had hoped. There was a good variety of what we were looking for. Everything throughout the store was clearly marked for prices and location of items. Aisles were kept clear of any unneccessary itemd and were wide enough for 2 carts to pass by each other comfortably. The produce looked refreshing and inviting with all the colors and the fruit and vegetables looked fresh and clean. Restrooms were easily accessible for disabled shoppers and easy to find for all shoppers (located at front and rear of the store). We have and will continue to reccomend this supercenter to friends and family.

My least favorite location, all the self checkstands are strictly no cash and lines galore for an actual employee checker. Want to be griped at for your patronage then this is your one stop shopping location. Lots of items out of stock and lots of damaged goods in stock.

I placed a food order for pickup. They delivered to my car quickly, and loaded the bags safely and efficiently. I will definitely order again!

They have almost everything. That being said I dont trust them. First every item in there needed hundreds of people from beginning to end. How can they afford to sell it all so cheap? Plus planned opulence is a thing. Walmart products are less healthy, rought quicker, and break easier when compared to quality standards of products of similar make.

Always like going here.. They are always friendly an most things I ever need are there. I go there a few times a week. They have lots of handicapped parking which really helps me out as I struggle with walking alot.

Pretty average location, its much better than the other store on 82nd just because it actually has a produce department, a bakery and a deli so it is definitely a more complete experience. The staff I encountered were nice too
