I took my guitar over to Eastside Guitar to have it setup, but afterward it wasnt playing quite right. I came here to have it redone, and it has never sounded better. Colin pointed out things that had gotten over looked (truss rod, pickups, etc.) and is undoubtedly the most knowledgeable man Ive ever spoken to about guitars. If youre having ANY issue with your guitar, look no further. Oh, and theres a bunch of sweet custom guitars to check out while you wait :)

Businesses are only as good as the people behind them. Taborellas luthier / proprietor is as good as it gets. Having recently moved from San Francisco, I was on a very real mission to find a knowledgeable guitar expert with the technical skills to help me finalize my guitar build. Colin did not disappoint: not only is he extremely personable, but he is also a wizard at routing, electronic installation, and other work that involves more than rudimentary skills.The work that he has done for me includes:* Refretting with steel strings - excellent finishing with rolled edges that play like butter.* Reshaping bridge socket to better fit the radius of my fretboard.* Routing the fretboard to make room for a larger pickup (P90 in a standard single-coil space) - excellent finishing work on this one. Looks like it came out of the factory like this.* Removing a pot and filling the empty hole with plastic - again perfectly done. Looks amazing.Some of these things are not standard at all and Colin executed them wonderfully with a reasonable price point.Highly recommend and will definitely return.
