Very lovely coffee shop with friendly service. The store is filled with natural lights and has beautiful interior designs that vibe with both Arbor and Lodge :D There are a couple of small tables outside. They used to exhibit works from local artists on the wall, which is fantastic. New exhibitions are on pause right now because of covid of course.

Cute local business. I live very close BUT dont go here anymore simply because they dont allow dogs in. I could go here every day during our walks, but Im not going to bother walking there and back and past there again. An employee said (with an annoyed glare) I could leave my dog outside, but in recent years there has been an increase in people stealing small or bully mix dogs. Plus one star as they do allow the community to hold meetings here after hours. Thank you owners ❤️

The quality and craftsmanship of their espresso drinks here is excellent. The barista was quick and my latte was delicious. Its cozy inside, with lots of natural lighting and some plants make the atmosphere comforting. Theres quite a few places to sit along the wall, as well as a couple of rectangle tables. Theres window seats as well which is a nice touch. The pricing for alternative milk is exactly where it needs to be as well. No price gouging here. Loved it, and will be back many times.

The emphasis that Arbor Lodge Coffee places on community cannot be understated. This is truly a local coffee shop meant as a place for friends, family, and strangers to get to know each other better over a warm beverage and pastry. Its a great place to spend a morning before or after errands. Only suggestion that would bring me in more often would be free refills on the drip coffee like other places in town.

Definitely a place comfortable enough to spend some time working at: a nice living-room-style area in the back and comfortable wood tables. Espresso is good, although too often the beans are a little too bright for my taste (my only minor complaint). Friendly staff and good hours.

Seriously this is the best coffee Ive ever had in Portland, Oregon. Im pretty much in love with the coffee here, its so good, I dont dare add any cream or sugar, yet of course its the only one that offers almond milk creamer at the condiment bar. one of my biggest pet peeves is having to ask for a non dairy creamer from behind the counter. also, super friendly staff!! and I like the interactive art projects on the wall

Full disclosure: owner is a friend. That being said, even before he took over this establishment it was and is my go-to coffee shop in the N/NE PDX area. Amazing Tanager coffee and never disappointed with the service, either. Drip coffee IS available if youre in a hurry, but I would recommend something a little more special. And delicious treats/healthy little snacks are sold here too, including gf options! Must try.

Love the space. Beautiful, relaxed. I dont think Ive ever seen the same barista twice, which begs a few questions. Pastries are mostly very good (corn and gruyère muffin is really bad, youve been warned). The coffee is not very consistent though, pretty regularly get off tasting drinks here. Would go five stars if they would change roasters.

I believe I just found the best chai tea in the city.Had the opportunity to spend a few minutes with the owner, who was very personable and really welcoming. We spent a few minutes talking about community and the opportunities for small businesses to really make an impact. We talked about a couple of social projects he was spearheading that truely sounded feasible and worth-while. This place is walking the walk on reaching out. They get my business.
