Randomly popped into the pet shop to peruse and on the way out decided to try an iced “Painted Hills” - their Rose Hazelnut Cardamom latte, with coconut milk. It was DELICIOUS! I absolutely loved the real rose petals on top, and the fact that they had vegan treats. On my fave list of coffee bars to go back to.. it’s a bonus that it’s right in the pet store!

Cafe with treats for doggos and humans, I loved this shop. Assortment of things for your pup (and things for cats too). Didnt make any purchases but the quality of their products where 👍🏼

My husband and I were traveling from California and had the best coffee here and we were also able to add CBD to our drinks which was awesome. They even had the best dog treats that I was able to buy for my dog Quinn. We’ll definitely be coming back to this place whenever we visit Portland again. Thank you

Great coffee bar in a pet store with friendly baristas. Lotsa ootions...Portland perfect. Ordered and received the lavender latte with coconut milk. The barista offered to add the honey to my taste after I expressed wanting a drink that wasnt too sweet. Delicious and frothy.

Good coffee! Offer pupacinos too. I like that the coffee bar is inside the store. Volumes of selections - not just 3 choices for 1 item in the store.

They didnt ask for names so there wasnt any indication which drink was yours besides description, plus they were made out of order. The coffee was good though. But my friend didnt get what she ordered.

What a great idea, to put a coffee house inside a pet store! Crater Lake latté was tasty. My dog refused the puppuccino, so i gave it to someone elses dog, who properly appreciated it.

Service and coffee were above average. Not lots of room for sitting or hanging out. But great for a quick cup to go.

The coffee is magical, the humans are delightfully kind, and you get to see cute puppers while youre youre enjoyin a cuppa jo! Theres nothing better.

OMG, this place is awesome. Its great for dogs and people too. I even think people go in there just to get their dog fix. I was there this morning and there were a couple of ladies just adoring and petting all the dogs that came through. Not to mention the staff is really friendly. They have cappaucino for humans and puppicino for the dogs (goat milk & kibbles.) free with purchase! I recommend you buy a bag of treats at the back of the store there is a company who will donate an entire bag to a shelter for every bag you purchase.

Java Hound is a small coffee and tea bar located inside the Hip Hound pet store on NW 23rd Street. They have fun specialities during the week for humans. Buy a human drink and get a doggie drink free. They have desserts as well. Small indoor seating area. I go here at least once each week.

You Must go for the puppuccino served at the coffee bar. Not just a cup of whipped cream like Starbucks. Its a cup of goats milk with treats. My pup loved it

Good selection, sweet friendly service, good selection of alternative milks, +delicious CBD non-psychoactive additive to my handmade local honey lavender latte. Plus I got to donate a couple of gifts to some local shelter kitties, through their pick up at Christmas tree. Glad theyre here glad they have treats for people and furs together.

The people are really sweet, and they give your dog a nutritious puppuccino (goats milk and treats).UPDATE: they have a new barista and MUCH better coffee! :)But I hate to have to say that the quality of the coffee is really, really bad. I usually just get a black coffee, and almost every time (3x?) , its a problem of the coffee being way too weak--it literally tastes like how my grandma made it. Its so bad that, despite enjoying the environment here, I haul it up a block or two to Barista because for the same amount of money you get a drink that you can enjoy.

I had a blended mocha drink, and a grilled vegetarian omelet. I would get both again. The wait can be a little crazy at times, but very fast service and great foods.

I didnt expect such great specialty lattes from a pet shop, but the coffee here is excellent. Its also a great pet shop. Free puppachinos with every coffee, too!

The location is kinda jammed into the front of the retail store. Coffee and baked goods we had were solid. Female working was ditzy but friendly.

Love this place, the food is excellent. They let me charge my phone ..only one problem: socket behind a plant.

Two words: CBD Coffee. Stopped in on our way to Cannon Beach, pleasantly surprised and loved all the puppers walking around.
