As of today, Fixoid has repaired and cleaned up 3 of my devices. They are all back to good health and running smoothly. Super impressed with the quality of my phone screen repair. I do a little of my own repairs at home and I felt that when I spoke to them about what I can do verses them, that they were honest. No trying to snag my business by making me feel that I couldnt do my own repairs. Very satisfied.

I called 5 different places and got the best price quote from this place. They used genuine Apple parts for the repair and it ended up being cheaper than they expected. They could have charged me the full quote and they didnt. Appreciate the honesty. Plus a free screen protector!

I walked in and explained what was going on with my computer, the woman at the register took it in back and immediately came back out and said itll be $150 for him to look at it as he doesnt know whats wrong with it. how could he know whats wrong with it if he didnt even look at it? she also said that the $150 was a flat rate and non-refundable, so basically they could charge $150 and just say that there isnt anything wrong with it and I dont receive anything back. and when I asked questions about this, she was very argumentative. complete waste of time.update to your reply today May 13. your reply is even argumentative. I asked basic questions and she was very rude when responding. I did not accuse anyone of anything, but did ask what would be the incentive to fix my computer if you already received the $150 non-refundable deposit required. I did not expect an immediate diagnostic or for them to look at it right then and there. I also did not like that the technician did not even come out to introduce themselves and talk to me, which I found to be very rude and disrespectful. I did find another place in Portland that does free diagnostics who has been in business for 15 years and will be taking my computer there. and the person I spoke with on the phone was very nice, very informative, and was very upfront about any charges that might occur based on the issue with my computer. and considering how you treated me yesterday and how you responded to my review today, I am shocked that you have been in business as long as you have.

IPhone SE 2020 dead screen fixed due to impact. Bestbuy refused to fix because the water damage indicator tripped. My wife had it for 1 day and dropped on concrete - it never touched water. Apple team was not helpful either. Anyways, Chris at Fixoid was super helpful and rest of staff was really cool too! Diagnosed and replaced screen in a few hours, no problem! Also, bought tough case from them. :D

You have to give any business that offers a veteran discount five stars. As a veteran one of the few of us in this nation it means a lot to me. They told me itd be at least a week before they could fix my phone and if that was going to be a problem for me. I told him no but I appreciate your concern. They told me they had to order the parts and I said lets do it. Mallory was very helpful. And thanked me for my service.

Worst experience. They sold me a damaged iPhone ten, then refused to refund me when the thing died. What a waste of my hard earned cash. Also the manager is very rude, yes you Ben. I feel bad for the staff who seem to be doing there best, but with policies that rip people off and poor charter in the management I would encourage them to get out now.

I purchased a new SSD for my laptop from another vender and it didnt come with the necessary screw to hold the drive in place. My man at Fixoid hooked me up with a screw free of charge. He didnt have to hook me up but thats the kinda guys they are. There arent a lot of computer shops around anymore so I appreciate them being willing to help. Ill be back the next time I need to purchase hardware or get service.

There business motto “ charge more, do less”Brought an iPad 7 to see if they can fix the problem that I already had it diagnosed at “Iparts and phone repair” in Gresham. The guy at iparts advised me with new updates on ITunes even if hardware is repaired, it won’t work. Wanted second opinion so I brought to Fixoid. I told the lady at front desk the exact problem and error code “4013” and if they can have it fixed as I was told it not fixable. She won’t give me an yes or a no but can have techs look at it. She was hurry too charge me $100 and said it will go towards the repair. While there i over heard guys in the back bragging about there motto of “charging more and doing less,” to which I laughed and asked her if that’s true. Later that week I get a call from a tech who said it will cost $350 to have it repaired while the iPad its self is only $300. And no the $100 won’t go towards the repair and won’t guarantee if it will work but $100 charge was a diagnostic charge. Don’t waste your time or money here. You can get a diagnostic done at IPARTS AND PHONE REPAIR for only $25. Worth the drive and time and you get honest answer from honest techs. Would never recommend fixoid especially after hearing what they said there business motto is!!!

This place is AMAZING!!! Went into the store with 45 minutes till close and the owner was still willing to help us with our computer issues. We had been locked out of the computer due to being in safe mode and not knowing the password. He went in and helped us not only get out of safe mode but also took care of the viruses that had gotten on our computer. He was super nice, super knowledgeable, and super helpful. He saved our computer and helped us 30 minutes past close. Not only that, he was about to do this service for us FOR FREE. We werent going to let him do that so we gave him some money for his time, effort, and customer service. This is now our go to computer shop!!

Typical story, spilled something on my laptop. Went in on a Monday around lunchtime to get a new keyboard put in, already had the keyboard with me but I dont have the setup/tools to replace myself at home. Really just needed this to go fast and get back to work ASAP. I was extremely satisfied with the speed and ease of the fix! Got it all nice and blown out and double checked for any spill that made it under the keyboard, popped in the one I brought and VIOLA! Back to work in no time!!I also noticed a lot of very reasonably priced devices while I was there and will surely come check back soon to get a new laptop for my mum. :)

I took my computer in to get cleaned up as it had a bunch of gunk on it from the previous owner (an ex) and wanted that stuff removed. Got it back nice and clean saving my bookmarks and photos as instructed. Theyre office is immaculately clean and the people are super efficient and nice! I highly recommend Fixoid for all of your computer repairs, tweaks, virus protection or upgrades. They also have a nice selection of new and used machines as well!

Very professional, very fair prices, and very fast turnaround. I have had 3 dealings with them, and been very pleased each time. The last time I brought my All in one desktop in because it was running so slow - the front desk took very good notes of the problem (he is also very knowledgeable in computers) and indicated that they try to get it done in 48 hours. It was a work machine so I was hoping for a 1 day turnaround, and they were able to pull it off and my machine was back and running much better and for a very reasonable price. We had a white screen cause by something unknown - perhaps by accidentally toggling some keys on the keyboard while putting in batteries for it - and Rex solved everything and saved our data like a real pro. Ben Fixoid is local, honest, and have your best interests in mind. I brought my phone in for water damage any the staff was able to diagnose the phone within a few hours. Walk ins are welcome and the guys are very straight forward about the plan and can quote costs up front. I went in for a screen repair and the guys offered me half off for a new battery replacement as well.In conclusion I loved the service I got, it was quick and I thought the pricing was fair. Ill be coming back here for any future phone repairs.

Ripoff joint kid tried to sell me a cheap Chinese knock off screen for $120, you can buy on eBay for $20... he refused to call his boss and was very rude. Went elsewhere got it fixed in 10 min for $40!

LOOK NO MORE! Fixoid is the place! I’m so happy to have come across this shop after dropping my iPhone 6s and it no longer showed an image. I thought it was a goner. After coming into fixoid all the staff I encountered was very knowledgeable, they were confident it can be fixed by replacing the screen and sure enough, 30 minutes later my phone was good as new! They put on an original quality screen and it’s been a couple of months and no problems since. Affordable, honest, and quick service. What more can you ask for?

Ben is the person to thank for helping me repair my iPhones headphone jack. My visit lasted five minutes and only cost me a $9.99 bottle of air spray. Fixoid is one of the best places i have ever been to for any computer needs. I recently had a Hard drive go bad and they backed up all my data no problem and was Super fast about it. I have never had one issue taking anything to the Fixoid from Iphones to other peoples computers. Fixoid has the best prices for everything they do. We had a back up drive crash in which everything was stored. Took it to Fixoid on a Friday and they immediately took care of me knowing I was in a dire situation. Absolutely fantastic customer service, great expertise and actually know what they are talking about. This is not some chop shop big box store but a great reliable company. I wish I had them service me so I can at least talk about he results of that.. but seems like they would rather offer the more expensive solution to their customers. I came in with a problem with my motherboard and without even looking at the computer the guys told me the best solution will be to buy a new motherboard and offered me one on his shelf with a $175 installation fee, which was more expensive than the motherboard itself. I immediately passed on the offer, went to another store about 4 miles away where the guy took the computer, fix it! And charged me less!While I was still in the store I also offered them to quote me on my 980Ti card I wanted to sell. So the guy tries to sell me a story on how it is currently valued at $200 and they will offer me $60 for it..... and then tells me a bs story about how he picked up two of them on EBay for $400.... good for him. I dont think he himself believed his own little story.Definitely not going back there ever again. I found my shop a couple miles away, that dont shy away from a challenging fix and has decent prices for service.

Ben is great! I highly recommend this business. I had a battery issue with my iPhone 6. Took my phone into Apple, and spent 2 hours in the store, convinced that my phone was garbage, (from the genius at the Apple Store) all to then find out my phone only needed a hard reboot. Thankfully I went with my gut instinct, and brought my iPhone into Fixoid. Ben looked at my phone and had it working in literally 1 minute. Save yourself a trip and go straight to this business...rather than the geniuses at Apple.

Oleg is the person who helped me with my Surface Pro. While he was not able to fix the issue which is now a known problem with Surface Pro computers, he was very helpful in writing up a description for me to submit to Citibank so I could qualify for a refund under their warranty program. I would highly recommend Fixoid for going above and beyond in helping me resolve my problem and would not hesitate to take my phone or computer to Fixoid again if I should have issues in the future.

Service was good but prices are high

I called Fixoid when my computer stopped working suddenly and after I was unable to fix or diagnose the problem myself. The gentleman on the phone knew what the problem was immediately and recommended I purchase a new computer. I was able to bring my old computer in for diagnosis and data retrieval, then they loaded the retrieved data onto my new computer for a reasonable cost, then recycled my old computer.The service was prompt. I encountered 3 different techs and they were all knowledgable, efficient, friendly, and super helpful regarding every step of this transition process. The hours are convenient, too.I came here based on google reviews and my initial phone encounter. I highly recommend their services to folks out there using The Google.

My IPhone 5S wasnt charging and I had had difficulty charging it over the previous month... Finally I submitted a request via Phine call, he responded back to me very quickly and I brought it in the next day. He took one look at it, pulled a pocket full of lint out of my phone, and boom charging like new. He also sold me a very durable charging cable that should not fray/tear at the base which will be nice! The service was great, I would highly recommend this shop for any and all electronic emergencies you may have!

Great service. I couldnt make my laptop turn on and the first place I took it to wanted to charge me $150 to replace the charging port plus the cost of spare parts. I brought it into fuxoid, was told that it was just undergoing a reset, turned it back on for me, and told me in complete honesty how I could replace the battery myself. Very honest, very attentive. There was no profit for him to help me but he did. Ought to set up a tips jar!

Big shout out to Ben with fixoid. This was about the 3rd time I have had computer repair from them and they are the most honest, fair and timely place I have EVER used. My screen went out on my laptop and they worked on it for a week and ordered 3 different parts. Nothing worked, not even a different monitor. They finally repaired it so another monitor could be hooked up and used. I assumed an outrageous bill and procrastinated picking it up. Just went in and my bill was $69.00. I have had experience with allot of repair businesses in the area. You will NOT regret trying them!

Tried this place twice. First time they couldnt solve my problem, fair enough it waa a failed HD. The second was why I wont come back. To install a graphics card was 40$ which I assumed meant to make sure it worked properly too. I had tried to install mine myself and had an issue. Take it in and they want 90$ to run full diagnostics work up because I already installed the card myself. That means they are charging people 40$ to push a graphics card into a slot and put in two screws. Maybe 30 seconds of work for 40$ and apparently that doesnt even cover if the graphics card works or not. Ridiculous...Dont come here.

-Computer repair shop is fantastic! Ben diagnosed and replaced my failed hard drive on laptop, and on my desktop they repaired Office programs that would not run due to an unwanted add-in program. I brought my desktop in, and within one hour I was taking it home, repaired, without being charged!!!! Fixoid will have all my computer repair business. These guys seem nice. Called to ask about replacing a Galaxy S3 charging port. Cost would be $90! The part is around $3 and I could buy a used phone for $50. Why would I pay $90 for a $3 part and 3 hours of service; most of which is just heating up parts to remove and replace. Whoever is in charge needs to review pricing for repairs... I would gladly pay $15-20 for this repair but certainly not $90!

I called the shop, my voicemail was returned in a timely fashion, and Ben not only understood the nature of my LG G3 screen issue (it is widespread and heat related), but he honestly said a repair could last 3 weeks or 3 months and I was better off just spending the money on a new phone. Based on this positive first interaction, I would definitely trust Fixoid in the future!
