I reached out to Trent and Y-Plate Imports back in Feb 2018 about purchasing an R33. He worked diligently and tirelessly to find me many different R33s from several different continents to see which one I would like to purchase.Lots of early texts and late night phones were ALWAYS responded to no matter the time difference. Trent was always friendly, helpful and straight to the point.I purchased the purple R33 back in Mar 2018, and he hung on to it until it was ready to be imported. In the interim, we kept in constant communication; the cost was clearly extrapolated to show where every penny was going towards.I got my purple R33 in late Nov 2018 just before Thanksgiving. Best purchase and buying experience I’ve had in a LONG time (and this coming from someone who’s purchased many cars in my lifetime).Because Trent made the buying experience so wonderful, he’s working on (hopefully) finding me an R34 Skyline. There’s a local importer here in Houston, but I would rather take my business to Y-Plate Imports and pay the necessary shipping and freight costs, cause Trent is definitely worth the extra cost.Can’t put a price on a wonderful, seamless buying experience, especially since most of these cars are purchased sight unseen.
