Love this spot and hope to see them thrive. Go help them out by treating yourself to a sandwich, its hard to open during a pandemic.

Came for burger week and will be back to try other food and mainly to get more from the butcher shop. I was really impressed once I read about where the meat is sourced/their farm especially given how reasonable the prices were. I love the mission! The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Been waiting for this place to open. Stopped in for lunch and got both sandwiches, pork sausage and their mushroom dip, both are great. Also picked up some fresh cut meats from their butchery. Will be back soon.

Have been by many times for their excellent meat from local small farms, and once for a meatball sub on a Sunday. Decided to do a full outdoor dinner recently and was pleased with the high quality and creativity of the food. The salad we had was fantastic. Large and hearty and full of flavors and textures. The squash blossoms where fun, and the gnocchi was delicious. The mushroom dip was more of a one person thing, but Id order it for lunch or something again. Bussing our own dishes was not my fave for the price of the food, but that is my only not glowing remark. The butchers here really know their stuff. Highly recommended!

Awesome sandwiches, drinks and people. They have almost everything pig-wise and it comes from their own farm. The bacon or the pancetta were outworldly. These people know what theyre doing 👍 Yummy 😋

Piccone’s is an amazing butcher / restaurant. The butchery staff are passionate and knowledgeable about their meats. The food is amazing and the cocktails match so well, all served on the patio. My husband and I shared the pork and beans - the coppa was so tender and moist, the pork belly melted in the mouth with an incredible depth of flavour. The bean salad could be a dish on its own!The seeds and stem salad was likewise an amazing pairing of flavours for a great tasting dish.Definitely one of Portland’s gems

I Stopped in this local meat market/ bistro/ bar/ select specialty item market to see what they offered. The associate who took my order at the counter was welcoming and friendly. They carry my favorite olive oil from Durant. I asked him his favorite and I went with his suggestion. I ordered a ceaser salad as well. They use little gems, which is my absolute favorite. This is the best Ceasar Ive had!! I will be back to try every menu item they have . I highly recommend it. An absolute gem on Sandy!!!

The Italian Job (pictured), which is featured for Burger Week 2021, was solid. One of the better selections, this year, of the now thirteen that I have had, and generally different enough, from most other entries, to be refreshing. The beef and pork meatball was giant (very thick), but somehow still cooked through, perfectly. Excellent seasoning, clearly a burger version of an Italian meatball sub.A butcher shop proudly displaying their expertise with meat. Definitely worth the six dollars. If you like my photograph, feel free to follow me on Instagram for more (casual and predominantly small / local) greater-Portland-area foodventures.Instagram: jonathan.grubb

This place is our newest addiction, we buy most of our meat there and order take out once or twice a month. Sometimes once or twice a week. The arancini come 3 to an order, definitely get 2 orders. The Sunday only meatball sub is also outrageous. The polenta is worth ordering if it doesnt come with your entree. If its a stuffed pasta, it will be delicious, but on the small side portion wise, and you wont regret it.

Amazing staff, truly knowledgable, care deeply about what they are selling, great selection, etc. While the garganelli wasnt 100% a home run with me, the pork and beans (loin roast, candied pork belly, ayers creek borlotto bean salad, pig head demi) was fantastic! Pork cooked to perfection, sweet and salty balance with bright flavors and acidity from the salad (the demi sauce was delicious, I would buy it bottled), and the panko coated fried olives (stuffed with sausage) were out of this world, I could pop them into my mouth all day.Everyone was so kind and passionate about what they do and sell quality products - its refreshing to find that today, supporting local, community grown food. It really is something special and you feel it as soon as you walk in.Im looking forward to visiting the butcher next week and will post an update with my steak.

Run, don’t walk, to this incredible place and discover it for yourself before the masses do. My wife and I tried take out from here tonight and we were both floored. We eat out a lot, including take out, and this was the best food, best take out, best overall meal we’ve had in a year. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients were a standout, and the way they balanced texture in each dish was impressive. We had the meatballs, mushroom hoagie, mista frigo, and Ceasar salad. And we spent less money here than many other places in town (but the food was twice as good). Give this place a shot, we are lucky to have them in Hollywood and honestly, it might be the best meal you’ve had in a long time. We will be back... a lot.

Three words: WORTH. THE. WAIT.I just had lunch from the sausage window. Tried the sausage and the mushroom au jus....an MAN oh man, they were both exceptional. The flavor of the mushroom sandwich was fresh and earthy with just the right amount of salt and chew. The bread was just as good as the filling — thin and crispy on the outside and pillowy and chewy on the inside. I might like to take a bath in the mushroom gravy, just sayin. The sausage had the snap I expect from a high-quality sausage and the peppers were bright and fruity. Ill be eating here (and bringing friends and visitors) uh-lot.
