Have been very happy with this little store just a short mile walk from our home. During COOVD times, my virtual book club made a pact to only order books through a local small shop, and I’m lucky to have Letterpress as my home base. My kids know when they go with me to pick up a new book, they will most likely leave with one of their own. Karen is always happy to help me find the books that I need in the shop or order them when they aren’t on the shelves, which normally takes less than a week. Well worth the stop and SO much better than Amazon...

Not only do they carry a thoughtfully curated selection of titles, but the staff takes the time to welcome you, make you feel comfortable, and learn your tastes in reading. If they dont carry a title they can order it, and it arrives quickly.Going there is always a wonderful experience. This charming little bookshop offers a much appreciated human touch in our big box world.

This is a wonderful independent bookstore. Its family owned and run and everyone is delightful. Orders come in quickly; their recommendations are great, and they support local authors with generosity and kindness.

Nice quaint place, has national and state of Maine best sellers. Also has other book selections in various categories. They dont have a huge volume of books, but they do special orders.
