I am honestly very bothered to do this but even though I have been going to this place for years I regret I will no longer be using them as my go-to mechanic. I have owned this truck for many years and have driven across the country many times and although I will not dispute my truck is old and brittle I dont believe that is any excuse to return a customers vehicle with interior pieces broken and falling apart. I am very disatisfied with the end result of my last business transaction here.

Unreal. I made an appointment with Jeannette a week ago. I drive in frommore than an hour away. They don’t have me down and refused to accommodate. This was a follow up visit and it was already paid for. All they had to do was turn on a black light and tell me where the leak was for the AC. But that’s the problem when you pay up front. They don’t want to finish the job. Did they offer me another appointment? No. An apology? No. They even told me I could leave the car a few days but it will be left outside. Just made excuses like I can’t find your ticket, even though the owner just told me he knew I was coming in. So which is it, you knew about that appointment or not? This business is very unorganized. I was highly disappointed. I don’t live in Portland. I left and found a mechanic’s shop that’s reputable . No wonder the building doesn’t have a sign. Spend your money and your time elsewhere.

Liberty motors is always fair and reliable with their work and service. Loren is a good Christian man and I really do appreciate all the good work he’s done for me over the years.

This shop has excellent customer service. The Back Rack on my truck came loose and it was impossible for me to do on my own due to the lack of certain tools. The owner of the shop made room for me at the end of his day and took care of me. The owner is courteous, sincere, and genuinely cares about others. If I ever visit Portland again and need mechanical work for a vehicle, I certainly would never go anywhere else.

I thought I had a bad brake booster and Loran looked at it and saw it was only a bad check valve. A lot of shops would take advantage of you and change the booster anyway. Very honest shop. I highly reccommend!

I think this is a great spot. I took my truck in for an alignment, oil, and filter change. I’m not from the area and traveling across the country for work and they looked over my truck to make sure everything was on the up and up. Peace of mind for me! This small independent mechanic has 40 years of experience with Ford trucks, what more can I say. I will be back when I’m working in the area again.

Needed a mechanic I called liberty motors and the owner stayed open late toHelp me out we are from out of town he changed my alternator in 15-20 mins tops I got to make it to my son baseball game thanks to him. It turned out I had a bad part and he opens up shop on a Sunday to replay it once again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop very honest man

This place is ridiculos,Lawrence told my son he would have to tear the whole motor down to fix the air intake valves.what a scam artist.he told my son it would cost several thousands dollars.we got another estimate from al williford and it just needed a tune up.a lousy tune up.beaware of this idiot.
