The Catalytic Converter for our old Toyota Prius got stolen. We got the cat replaced at our Toyota Dealership but got our Cat Security installed from Atomic Auto. Their price is half compare to our dealership was asking for. It was quick and easy process. The staff are communicative. They give us the info and options but dont push like other sales people. We will definitely come back for big repairs. Unfortunately we live in Beaverton area so its a little bit of a ride.

Great group to get stuff fixed and or checked out. The dealership gave me a huge cost for lots of fixes, these guys did the main fix I needed ASAP for literally (I am not kidding): nearly $1900 less than the dealership estimate. They also found some other issues with my old car but overall, professional, friendly, thorough with inspections, and also provide you with a nice education about the issues instead of trying to force you to fix stuff right then and there like the dealership does. Will be returning!

If you need hybrid vehicle repair, this is THE place to go. I got quotes from three different repair shops, and Atomic Auto was by far the least expensive. They were honest!!! My stepdad had told me that the repair I needed shouldnt take more than two hours, and Atomic Auto didnt lie or try to take advantage. Meanwhile, another shop lied to me and told me it would take about 4-5 hours for the same repair. Atomic Auto quoted me (and charged me what they quoted me) for less than half of the other competitor. They were efficient, made scheduling easy, and provided amazing customer service. They have earned my loyalty.

After I set up an appointment, I was able to drop off and pick up after hours with their easy system that is shown on their website with 2 very short videos. Took my car to dealership for oil change (I have a lifetime pkg). They indicated I was in dire need of replacement of break fluid, coolant, power steering fluid and automatic transmission fluid at a quote of over $700. Took it to Atomic, thinking even if I needed all that work, I would rather give them my business because they have proven trustworthy and capable in the past. Turns out Atomic recommended only one of these services, and at half the cost of what the dealership quoted for that service. I will always use Atomic when possible and have referred them to others.

They saved me money when they realized it had aftermarket cat not OEM which was what I had made the appointment for. Scheduling was easy they seem super knowledgeable and honest. That was a superb 5k service for my RAV4. Probably one of the best car shop experiences of my life. These guys are fast, friendly, courteous, accommodating and thorough. Booked an appointment for the next morning on the phone with Barry. Cale opened the shop at 8 am on the dot to check me in and my car was ready by 9 am. Their report and notes were stellar and they went over everything with me post-inspection.My biggest concern was the rooftop tent on my car that stays on the whole time. I’ve had a few sketchy experiences with past mechanics but the guys at Atomic reassured me that they’ll take care of my setup and be extra careful. That went a long way.The shop is awesome. Clean, open waiting space to get some work done and good WiFi. You can see straight into the working area through the glass windows which adds a layer of transparency - great shop design!Their costs are on the higher end. My usual $70-80 service cost $115 there but you get what you pay for. They were excellent and pleasant to work with, easy to book last minute, and only took up one hour of my day, while I got to catch up on work at their shop. It was worth the extra cash for me. Will be my go to shop in Portland going forward.

Atomic Auto is great! The folks who work there have always been extremely helpful and informative for me over the last three years Ive been going to them with my 05 Prius. I always feel like theyre giving me the best informed opinion without trying to sell me something I dont need, and are willing to talk things through with me until I understand the full context of whats going on with my car so I can make the best decision for myself. Prices seem reasonable given the expertise and specialized knowledge that they have, but I havent been to anyone else in town. Everyone Ive interacted with there has been very thorough, kind, and patient.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Atomic Auto and Ill be coming back. They are quick to respond and I like being able to text with them since I cant always answer the phone. I appreciate their after hours drop off and pick up because it can be tricky to arrange a ride during business hours. Lastly I am thankful for their communication with my insurance adjuster when my Catalytic converter was stolen (turns out that Security patrol at my apartment didnt scare away thieves) and I highly recommend that you get the car shield so you can save yourself a claim. Took a car here for a pre inspection report, they were definitely trying to sell me a job and not be honest about the car, they told me my car needed tires and my hybrid battery was no good, I got a second opinion and les Schwab and hybrid battery exchange to look at each one and atomic was definitely dishonest, I wouldn’t recommend them, their all about money and selling not what a car actually needs!

My car broke down a mile away from atomic auto. I got it towed there and i was met with kale and berry ( I hope I got the spelling right) they were quick to talk to me but since I came Friday afternoon they were already booked which is understandable. During this time I just came down from Colorado looking for a place to live in Portland so I was living in my car. So I ended up sleeping in the parking lot over the weekend(since they are closed on the weekend) and Monday morning they were quick to fix the issue. I ended up replacing my starter. They were quick with the initial diagnosis and didnt do any additional unnecessary servicing. I ended up having them do a full inspection and oil change since the car was already there, again there were amazingly willing to quickly accommodate an additional ask. The report I got after a super quick turn around was AWESOME, so detailed and accessible. Their tech savvy invoice system allows you to review their notes and pictures and recommendations on your own for as long as you need to make a good decision. In addition to that they gave me awesome recommendations on the work I should prioritize and what could wait.I have hands down never had such a good mechanic experience in my life.

And I got to drive the Janky Prius while my car was in the shop, which was an absolute life-saver.

Attached Catalytic Converter shield on newly-acquired Prius. fast turnaround. After I drove it for a bit noticed a low, loud-ish rumble like a muffler beginning to fail. AA told me to bring it right in, bumped other service projects and installed additional baffling/gasket while I waited. All good!! And I dont have to worry about CAT thieves. Pros, friendly, fast.

Travis & the rest of the technicians at Atomic Auto were phenomenal.I had a 2008 Ford Escape hybrid sitting in my driveway for over 9 months, and the batteries were completely dead. I took it in to a local dealership, and they initially quoted me $13,000 to replace the high voltage battery.I googled alternative options, and found Atomic Auto. Their website said they primarily specialized in Toyota/Lexus hybrids, but I reached out anyway to see if they could do anything with my Ford. Travis & his team were more than willing to troubleshoot, so I had my car towed over there. They were in constant communication with me while they researched & tried multiple methods of revival that didnt require replacing the battery, and were eventually successful.After they revived the HV battery, they fixed a couple other issues I had with the Escape prior to the dead battery. I am extremely grateful for this group for not giving up, working outside of their normal models, and saving me over $11k if I stuck with the dealership. 5 stars all around!-Seth

I contacted them and within minutes had my appointment scheduled for a Cat Shield. $305.00 fully installed to deter thefts. Out of 700 installed only 2 have been returned for repairs.Installation was fast and everyone is professional.

I had my catalytic converter stolen out of my Prius. I was going to have my car towed to Toyota, but the AAA technician recommended Atomic saying they specialize in electric cars and do this repair all the time. I didn’t even realize it was only about 3 blocks from my house. I called Atomic and they said I could have it towed right over, even though it was last minute. They worked with my insurance and were really communicative and helpful. They replaced my converter, added a steel plate to deter it being stolen again, changed my oil, and replaced a few other things that were due for update. Overall, they were great, very speedy & friendly. Would absolutely recommend, and honestly will probably take my car back there in future over Toyota which is where I normally go.

From the moment of my first contact with Atomic Auto Body, I was impressed. My high voltage battery went out in my Toyota Prius. I took my car to Toyota first and had to pay $150 just for them to tell me my battery was going out. They quoted me just about $3000 for a new battery. I saw a referral on the Next door app about Atomic Auto and decided to give them a call. For the same $3000 I got the brand new Toyota battery, the HV Transaxle fluid change, Prius (DUE EVERY 60,000 MILES and the Catalytic converter shield installed as many are stolen out of Prius’s. Plus I got a 4 year warrant vs 1 year that Toyota offered. These guys are the best!!!!! Highly recommended.

I was having an electrical issue with my car as well as hearing a strange noise coming from the front of the car. I had originally taken it to Honda as they had dealt with the electrical issue before and figured because they knew what hadnt worked in the past, they would have a better jumping off point. Turns out I was very wrong, they wanted to charge me $3500 to fix things that were clearly not the cause of the issue.I then brought my car straight to Atomic Auto and immediately felt better.
