They wanted to charge $40 for a $20 fuel filter. Know your prices before you loosely buy products at any of these auto parts store. I can understand an extra $5 markup but a 100% markup is crazy.

Richard spent as much time as I needed answering all of my questions and discussing best methods. He treated me with respect and didn’t talk down to me. I left with confidence in all of the many things I’d been unsure of while planning for my huge project. Mike was just the same. If you need honest knowledgeable advice, this is the place! What a rare and wonderful find these days!

The guys here are very knowledgeable. This is where the auto pros shop. They even stock the old non-EP gear oil for my 1965 Alfa Romeo.

Ordered part on a Friday. They said it would be in on Monday.On Monday they said it would be in on Tuesday. On Tuesday they said they had no knowledge of the order. Made no effort to help

Good stuff.. kinda spendy. ive dropped 200$ for a 2ton jack and 180$ for the top jump box they got.. well worth if you got the cash or near by convenience sake.. but harbor freight never hurt my wallet..

You already know the deal with NAPA. Rarely the best prices, but they have almost everything imaginable in stock or can get it same day, and the people who work there actually know what they are talking about (at least, compared to AutoZone). This location is pretty easy to get to and has decent parking availability.

Will go the extra mile to help you get the exact right part for your vehicle--like if they dont have the part in stock, theyll check every other NAPA store around that youre willing to drive to for it. I recommend going here if you dont have any knowledge about vehicles, as they will help you and teach you.

They guys and gals are good. Friendly, knowledgeable, and will take the time to find you what you need. I needed to replace my oil dipstick, so I brought the old one in. The ladry at the front of the desk took the time to determine that it wasnt the oil dipstick but the transmission that I had brought in, and then went out with me to my car to grab the right part. Ultimately, they didnt have a replacement available, old cars and all. But there was a great effort made at coming to the right solution for me.

Tim was super nice and helpful. Even though they didnt have the specific part we needed he gave us a great recommendation for a mobile mechanic who came out and fixed us. We were super appreciative!

Theres a reason people want factory parts. They work. If you think they dont have your obscure item in stock or couldnt order you one your wrong. Give them a call and ask. They are more then willing to look up your part over the phone and confirm if its in stock. Every time I come in here the staff is helpful and friendly. I came in because I needed screws for to mount new license plates which I thought would be easy, but it turns out is more complicated than I anticipated. C.C. took the time to make sure that the screws fit my license plate mounts and she even mounted the plates for me. Totally above and beyond what I expected- thank you for your help C.C.! I never do reviews but just had to.I went to two different O’Reilly’s to find the right screws for my plates on my Car. Some men tried to help a little and said they couldn’t find one that could fit.Came to Napa Auto Parts and C.C helped me out within a couple of minutes. Checked my car out, found the right screws and did the work for me. It was quick and easy! C.C and the other guy (sry didn’t check name) helped me out with questions on the antifreeze on my car and gave me the right kind. Thanks you two! I will now continue coming here for their help and questions answered.

After visiting several stores seeking assistance with my brake conversion, no one seemed to be interested or skilled enough to help take on my project. Fortunately I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by and give this Napa a shot. What I found was nothing short of amazing. Not one but two technicians who were genuinely interested in my project. Kevin and Tim both took time to look up parts, grab parts off the shelf and let me measure. I’m happy to say that after 15 minutes of chasing parts and measuring we came up with a solution for my application. I’ve frequented many parts store in my time and this is by far the stand out. This machine shop took 1.5 months to tell me they couldnt help me. They ignore messages and dont give straight answers to any questions without escalating it to an argument. When i finally decided to pick up my engine they dragged the block across the ground and set it down on the naked asphalt.Just go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Really, really bad experience here.The next machine shop i brought my engine to gave me numbers, specs and specific recommendations without any ego or attitude. Exactly the way business should be done between grown men.

Helpful guys at the counter. Got a wiper blade that we couldnt attach. Counter guy came out to assist with it, discovered it was defective and retrieved a replacement quickly, which he then installed. Outstanding customer service.

After having stopped at one of your competitors after work Saturday in the evening the way they treated their customers was very appalling so I ended up walking out and taking my business elsewhere. Even though you guys did not have the part I was looking for the customer service alone will keep me coming back to you guys, the woman working the front was helpful and caring .

Went in to get a new rear blinker bulb but stripped the bolt when trying to install the bulb in the parking lot. Went back inside and Cici came outside with us and helped us install the whole thing and even fix what I broke. One of the best experiences you could ask for at a store. I recommend this store to everyone and will definitely go back myself when I am in need of any type of automotive help.

Im a tow truck driver and come across a lot of auto shops and auto stores in Portland. This Napa is hands down the most helpful in the area. Great shop. Ive been using this parts shop for years for everything from late model cars to some of the more unique cars, trucks, and motorcycles that Ive worked on. Im amazed that they carry parts for some of my 50 year old vehicles.

I went in a few weeks ago looking for wiper blades for my 2003 Passat. I had been to to other car shops and no one could find the right blades for me, without spending over a $100. I went to Napa by chance, as their right next to my doctors office where I had an appointment. Not only did Kevin work with me to find the wiper blades I needed, he even tried on and tested a few generic brands to see if they would fit. Kevin was amazing, through trying on and testing he found some wiper blades that didnt come up in the computer search and even gave me a discount. I went in thinking I had to spend over $100 but Kevin hooked up some generic blades for $35 and they work beautifully. There was another guy working, they both were great. Amazing customer service, patience and good sense of humor to boot! I will being going to this NAPA first for all my car needs. They got themselves a lifetime customer from the great service.

These guys dont make the best filter wrenches, but they still give one a lifetime warranty. Ive gone through five so far and I feel like that is on purpose, so that I might buy more products. Thank you for always being nice when I have to return these filter wrenches.

CeCe and Kevin were great!! Someone had stolen my license plates and I was having difficulty getting bolts that fit my car (rear holes were a little small and front ones had been drilled in by previous owner). They both took the time to find anti-theft bolts and come out (in 100 degree weather) and put them on for me, even though this turned out to be not an easy task on the rear plates. CeCe even filled me on on how thieves will not steal your plate if cut slices into your tags - that way they cant get the whole tag and re-use. She even got out her box cutter and carefully cut mine for me (cant even tell until you get up close!) This is definitely now my auto parts store going forward. Thanks guys!!!

Just had the worst experience at this store, I made an online order for 2 sway bar links, order confirmation shown that the parts were available in store. I show up and the sales associate is telling me only one of them is available. I come back to the store 3 days later, pay for the parts and go home, guess what? The 2 parts inside are not matching! I try to buy all my parts in NAPA stores, but Ill never shop at this location again. The employees lack any customer service skills; theyre just plain rude and unhelpful. At first I thought it was just maybe a one time experience, but Ive consistently been treated this way by anybody Ive dealt with here. Id rather shop on the Washington side and pay sales tax then do business with this place again.

Because Im a woman? I knew what I was looking for. But, they kept trying to sell me things I didnt need. I took correct measurements which match w/my make/model/year, but they waisted my time double checking everything I said. I was surprised that even the woman who works there needed to double check everything with the guys. I know shes not new there. I was hoping to get the parts I needed local instead of ordering them online. I know the parts are available and what I needed. But, they didnt have any of it. Ill only be going back for things I know I can grab myself from the sales floor. It was like going back in time... Except I grew up in a garage with a mechanic for a dad and my brother too, Id never actually been spoken down to like this while trying to get auto parts. Misogyny and condescending behavior abound here. Even from another woman.
