Everett St., Autoworks is wonderful, they fixed my daughters Toyota RAV4 front struts which were leaking. The repair only took a few days and the price paid for the service was reasonable. Everette street auto works is my preferred mechanics shop in Portland. They are very good at what they do, they only fix things that need to be fixed, and they’re open about the repair process. It’s hard to find good mechanics and I’m glad that I found a shop that has them. I take both my daughters car and my own car to them whenever we need a repair service done.

My car has been acting up so I had them check it out. They came up with four issues after their diagnostic. They told me prices up front, as well as in which order I should fix things. The prices were all very fair!The most expensive issue had me feeling overwhelmed, but Justin reassured me that I had plenty of time to save up and that I wouldn’t end up stranded because of it. I got my brake pads replaced and left knowing what my next steps should be to get my car in good working order.I really appreciated the honesty and good communication I experienced. I felt listened to and respected. This will be my go-to shop from here on out!

Im so thankful I found Everett street Autoworks. Ive unfortunately been taken advantage of from other mechanics in the past, so I tend to have my guard up when getting my car maintained. At this shop, I honestly feel comfortable with the work and advise of these mechanics. Theyre friendly, professional and I appreciate that they explain things thoroughly and in an easy to understand, jargon-free manner. My first visit I had my cooling system flushed. My second visit they recommended that I come in for a safety check because I had some concerns for my suspensions/shocks. They checked all the safety features of my car and found no reason to change out my suspensions/struts. I always feel like I know what I’m getting into and they have, on numerous occasions, coached me into the most cost effective approach to keeping my cars running. Sometimes the work needs to be done but sometimes it would be putting investment where it doesn’t make sense. In these cases, they’ve not taken money they could have and I appreciate and respect that.

This is the BEST auto shop to which Ive ever taken my car. Everyone is incredibly professional, prices are reasonable, and most of all, they deliver on time! They are great at communicating, and keeping me up to date on issues, and progress. On the rare occasions that theyve needed to keep my car overnight, theyve made getting a rental super easy. Ive been taking my car here for over 4 years and they always do a great job. I bring my Honda in for basic maintenance like oil changes and also get major repairs done here as well.With each oil change they do an inspection to see if anything else needs work and they are very honest in telling me what needs to be fixed soon and what can be deferred.Besides the friendly customer service, honesty, and getting work completed within the agreed upon timeline, they also offer a AAA discount.Highly recommended!

I have always left Everette Street Autoworks happy with my service. All employees have showed me great customer service and are always honest with me. I’ve only gone in for just a general service (change oil, refil fluids, etc.) so I can only speak for that. Prices are not completely outrageous and they are always super quick. Make a reservation through phone, it’s faster. I’ve taken my car in when they’ve opened and they have always finished the service within a few hours (if anything, definitely before noon). I trust these guys!

Everett Street Auto Works has been my go-to shop for about 10 years now, first with a old Jeep and now a Mazda. Always been happy with the service. They do get busy but it’s worth the wait for a quality, trustworthy shop.

Although it took some time to get the appointment, once there, Everett Street Autoworks was professional and was helpful prioritizing what needed to be done. I had a front wheel bearing replaced and front brakes, calipers and rotors replaced on a 2007 Lexus. I definitely recommend them.

I seriously can’t thank these people enough. We are a two car family for 4 people plus a toddler. I work full time and she goes to school while my elderly father is dying and has to go to regular doctors appointments. My car made it clear to me that it was unhappy (turned out to be the alternator) and I called Everette panicking since I knew how booked up the entire auto repair industry is right now. I’ve taken our car to them before for maintenance and already trusted them. They called me back right away, offered to take it same day to see if they could squeeze it in between booked appointments and call me back. Not only did they squeeze us in, they finished the repairs same day and even dealt with our warranty company to see what could be covered. I honestly wanted to cry. First off, as an EV owner, it has been very difficult to find anyone (including the dealer) to service my vehicle. But these guys took the job of replacing my AC/heater unit (which is very annoying that it failed after 30k miles/5 years).Very professional intake and communication throughout. They had to keep the car an extra day, but they offered me a rental for free already. I didnt really need it, but it was nice to have the option. Also, at the end, they discovered some related issues that would cost a lot to fix but did not affect the operation of the vehicle, so they recommended to not repair them unless they cause a problem later. Saves me another $1500 on stupid German sensors.

I don’t remember who recommended them but I’ve been going for over 15 years. I used to have Saabs, so know them well 😊. I’ve now moved to cars that are more reliable (but more boring!) and can’t speak more highly about the confidence and trust I have in the team. Grateful!

Everett was recommended to me years ago. I have been there several times for extensive repairs. They have been more than fair and accommodating, and have given great service.

Wonderful team.I brought my older car in because it was making noise when accelerating above 30 mph. I got a call a short time later stating that its an engine/transmission issue. Given the age of the car, they advised further service likely wasnt cost-effective, and they didnt charge me for the time + effort.Ive since bought a new car, and plan to bring it to them for any future repairs.

Awful experience. Nonexistent communication, I had to call them multiple times for updates across two weeks. They were unable to diagnose my car’s problem. When I came in to pick up my car the employees were making fun of someone outside who clearly had a brain injury. Despicable. I refuse to give them any more of my money and have told all of my friends and coworkers of my abysmal experience.

They got me in right away, called me with diagnostic within an hour. Made all the repairs, at what I thought was very reasonable price. Had my car back the next day. Runs great! Definitely will go back. Very friendly staff!

GREAT value for what they give. I have a Mercedes and I got an oil change that included fluid top off, tires, tire rotation, and they did some minor cleaning in the interior. I was shocked at the cost, in a great way. Will be coming back and recommend.

The folks at Everett St Autoworks provided the best telephone consult and pricing for 60K miles inspection / filter cleaning. On the day of service, they were timely, professional, did not charge me unnecessary fees, and were, above all, honest. I will definitely be returning to their establishment for my future needs/services.

They checked the battery that they installed last year and inspected my car prior to a road trip. They didn’t charge anything, as it was under warranty of the battery.They’re always friendly and helpful, and their service is high quality and reasonable in cost. I trust them more than any other garage in town to be honest with me about necessary repairs and to do good work for a fair price.

I had Everett Street Auto to have my DEQ emissions check for renewing my vehicle registration. They were a drop in and performed the check in less than five minutes. I highly recommend them!!!

My car broke down on the side of a highway and I had it towed to Everett Street Auto. After running a quick diagnostic, they concluded it was likely an engine issue and rather than recommending their services of an engine replacement which would likely cost thousands of dollars, they recommended I reach out to the dealership to inquire about recalls and/or extended warranties. Turns out, my vehicle was indeed under extended warranty and the dealership was able to replace the engine at no cost.I am so impressed by ESA’s honesty, customer service, and their ability to prioritize customer needs over making an extra sale. As someone who knows little to nothing about cars, I will continually return to ESA time and time again due to their top notch service quality and customer experience.

They were very responsive and up front with prices and what it was essential to be done. I didn’t feel pressured about them selling me other services. The location is perfect for dropping and getting back on max or biking. I will use their services again.

I’ve only had a few occasions to use this garage but every time it’s been a positive experience. They are so easy to communicate with and notify me to keep me up to the present.

There really isnt enough nice things to say about this place. You think you would have a bad experience once or twice right? NO, not here! They dont push any repair down your throat. They suggest and I find that to be very appropriate. They greet you immediately and I have never been in their lobby more than 5 mins (In and out). The efficiency and sense of urgency is something you dont see at all at other places. I mean when is the last time you say almost perfect ratings on a auto repair place? Almost never. There is a reason they have almost perfect stars and >900 reviews. Plus my car had a nail in the tire and they replaced no questions asked for free (I did buy my tires there). I have a Subaru and I trust (speed, friendliness, and price) this business WAY more then the onsite dealership.

Okay I will not keep attempting these car shops here in Portland. I had a gentleman guided me into and out of this shop a month ago to make an appointment was told that I would get a reminder call a few days before and we’ll nothing. I assume that the appointment was today on the 10th but when I called to double check the gentleman said that it was yesterday. It’s very unprofessional to not give a card for the appointment nor a reminder call when service is scheduled more than a month out. Thanks for wasting my time this seems to be the recurring theme for Portland maybe it’s not part of their professionalism and/or duties. I see it as a way to fill up your repair order books but not actually work on everyone car that you actually book.

This place is always hopping but Im treated very well each time I have my car worked on. No upselling, no surprise costs, Im always given advice about things that might be ready for repair in a few months. My visit this week was the first time I was told something should be taken care of sooner because of safety issues (tires), so I did and am so glad. I appreciate the consistently high level of customer service I receive each time I visit. Highly recommend these folks!

Went in for an oil change. They quoted 2,000 in service... some of which I was dubious about. Had em do the front brakes. Worked fine. Maybe they saved my life? Rear brakes they said need change still.fine, new trans fluid said need change still.clean. idk

Ive always taken my cars to Everett Street Autoworks for good reason. They do great work! In March of 2020, it was my wifes Mercedez, which was shaking slightly every time she hit the brakes. ESA assessed the car and ended up replacing the front brakes and rotors. The car has been braking just fine, but this June (2021), we noticed a slight squeaking in them on rolling stops. I called the guys on August 3rd and they said to bring it in for a looksie. They tried to reproduce the noise, but couldnt, so they lubed the front and back brakes free of charge. After test driving it again, they heard the noise loud and clear, so they called me and said they were going to replace the front brakes and rotors first, because they were still under warranty. They were? I didnt even know that. The next day, they called and said the car was performing great and ready for pickup. I went in and they gave me the work order listing everything they had done — all for $0 dollars. The car and brakes are perfect now and I feel great knowing I got great service from my go-to guys once again! I also found out that all their brake jobs are warrantied for 3-years. You cant beat it. Ive been going here since my friend recommended them a few years back. Great service and competitive pricing. Recently had my valve cover gaskets replaced. They accidentally underquoted me, but honored their mistake and ate $500 in labor. Had my ball joints and shocks replaced last year and now my old work truck is running smooth as a marble coated in butter on an icy lake. Keep up the good work guys!

Quick and very affordable! I had my power steering fluid flushed and the plastic cover under my engine zip tied back on (this was free). They offered a $30 Lyft voucher to get me home while I waited for my car to be worked on. They were really easy going and very affordable compared to what my dealerships service department would have charged. I would certainly recommend Everett Street Autoworks and Mechanics.

My F150 is Canadian and the first auto shop I went to basically told me, good luck finding anyone who can actually work on this!. That was the first and last time I went to them. I happened to find Everett on my warranty list. I called them after my trucks engine light turned on. They got me in right away to find out what was wrong. They changed the battery for me and a few weeks later fixed my ignition coil and spark plugs. They were very quick and didnt charge me an arm and a leg to do these as well. I was even a bit late to bring my truck in to change my spark plugs and ignition coil, and they still managed to give me my truck back the same day. I live all the way out in tillamook, and will definitely be coming back to them again.

I had consistent squealing when I decided to take my vehicle to Everett Street Auto works. I simply did a google search and they were one of the first hits.While making an appointment I told the Service writer I suspected it was a serpentine belt and he suggested that the repair could be covered under a warranty from my previous repair shop. I really appreciated the honesty. The previous repair shop was out of state and he made sure to help with logistics to get the details of the warranty. Not only did they go through with the repairs - honoring the warranty- but they were very prompt with communication and made sure I stayed in the loop. I never felt pressured from an up sell/recommendation. I ended up paying for a power steering flush and the service writer actually took $9.00 off the original price. I felt taken care of and included in the repair process especially working out logistics and honoring warranty. I would highly recommend Everett Street Auto Works!

He gave me a gallon of concentrated Yellow Heatthat removed the large oil leak on my concrete garage floor.I can’t say enough about the great service at Everett Street Autoworks.

I had my car towed and dropped off after hours. They were not expecting me. I called in the morning when they opened, and they had already pulled my car in and were looking at it. My harmonic balancer had broke, which caused damage to the crankshaft and several belts. They had my car ready by two in the afternoon same day. Very fair pricing. Was extremely happy with the service I received.

We brought the car in because the ABS and brake service light has been on and checked at other places several times. The guys checked everything out out and told us brakes are fine and not to worry! Always trust Everett street auto mechanics!

VERY friendly, professional, and quick service. All I needed was a quick battery replacement for my Ford Fusion. I just pulled in (after calling to see if they had the battery) and they swapped batteries right there off to the side of the entrance for me. Good pricing not to mention. I called bBattery Exchange, Walmart, and another auto service near by and the battery everywhere else including battery exchange and Walmart was $40-$60 more than Everett. I will happily return to Everett Street Autoworks for future vehicle needs. Thanks guys.

Ive been to Everett Street Auto works for routine maintenance after reading great reviews online. This was my first mechanic visit outside of dealer service center and I really liked everything about it. Right from setting up appointment to getting my car back. They were professional, through, followed COVID guide went through maintenance work and promptly informed of the services needed.

Just moved to area, and just purchased a used vehicle. Noticed brakes were making a loud noise. Looked for local place to take a look. Called and made an appointment. Left car. Received a call a few hours later, and was informed that loud noise was from some rust build up. Recommendation was to pick up vehicle with no charge for the inspection. Wow did that make my day. I have told many people of this honest and great result. I highly recommend this place.

I tell that person what we need, and they schedule me on the spot for an appointment that is always within the coming days or week at most. I then drive right up, walk into the office, let them know Im here, and they say thanks, and Im on my way. They have already tracked why Im coming in, and they let me know that someone will be in touch with me by a certain time to discuss the situation.When I drop off in the morning, I usually receive a call by 12:00 or 1:00 p.m. with any work that needs to be done.When the phone call comes in, I have a dedicated representative who talks to me about the entire situation, the health of the car, what needs to be done, the cost, and they are able to enter into a dialogue about making recommendations about what is critical and not critical. When I ask when something will be done, they give me a clear pick up time and also a cost, and when I go to pick up the vehicle, its always done, and the cost is as promised.No games, no shenanigans, no manipulations, no slimy car dealer service managers looking to confuse you. This is a highly organized process, not just for the customer, but obviously behind the scenes, because they hit their deadlines and there are no surprises, and the interface is always quick and efficient whenever you are in the office or on the phone with them.This is why they have the rating that they do, and why we are loyal customers after several years now.

Replaced the head gaskets on a Toyota 4Runner with 137k miles. Their estimate met or was less than several other garages I had contacted about the problem. They were professional with their work and thoroughly tested the vehicle before turning it over to me. Their mechanic also gave the car a thorough inspection and I was able to review the results with the service representative and make decisions on what work would be needed in the future (brakes, etc).

The few employees I interacted with seemed nice and respectful. However, I left feeling like I was getting up-charged/overcharged. I went in for an AC recharge and ended up having a leak in the condenser. I was quoted $1300 to have it repaired and recharged and 6 hours worth of labor. The condenser was $150 at auto zone and it took me 3 hours to do it myself.

Very efficient and professional. Completed the work well in advance of the estimated time. All communication was prompt and concise.

I had been told by a gentleman at a standard oil change that I needed 4K plus in repairs. As a female I have always been told to get a second opinion when you hear that kind of news so I took it to Everett and they were the most honest, straight forward, and helpful mechanics I have found. They walked me through everything and explained what actually needed to be repaired verse what was exaggerated/ not true from my initial mechanic. I have found a mechanic I really trust and will never go anywhere else for as long as I live in this area. Very thankful for their time, patience, and assistance! Plus they have very reasonable rates for repairs!Update: went in in April 2021 again. Same great service. My car was SUPER loud and I though for sure it would be incredibly expensive to repair. But amazingly they repaired whatever was loose and rattling for free and just charged me for my oil change. Once again they are super trustworthy and don’t try to nickel and dime you. Very happy to have found this mechanic!
