I purchased a vehicle here back in the Spring. The staff were low pressure and quite accommodating. They gave me a good value on my trade-in (compared to other dealerships I had gotten offers from) and followed through on their promise to fix any issues that were found on the car during the independent inspection I had done (some work they did in-house, other work they paid my mechanic to have done). Overall Im quite happy with the experience I had and would buy a car here again or recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for a reputable place.

I was looking at a Subaru Legacy from them, and since I live 450 miles away they got a full inspection done at a Subaru dealer, sent me detailed pictures of the car and pointed out any damages to it, and when I decided I want it they went out of their way to help get me financed for it.I drove from sandpoint, Id to their dealer for the car on a day with bad weather, when the owner heard I was planning to head back the same day he offered to get me a hotel so I wouldnt have to drive back in the poor conditions.All in all, I can very easily see why they have such high reviews and I would happily buy from them again. To be completely honest I would not recommend this company at all, back in October of 2020 I purchased a 2013 subaru crosstrek in khaki tan. I have owned the vehicle since then, I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle. I was told by willsonville subaru themselves that this vehicle isnt safe to be driven! They wanted to give me a deal so My family and I could be safe. I have records proving the brake fluid is contaminated, difs front rear, trans, all needs serviced. Also my trans is slipping! (Yes I have maintained my vehicle as Im an avid care enthusiast). Not mention I have reached out many times to get these issues resolved to be blown off. Which I was told by Kolby, Sam, Lou were all up to date! Im disgusted.... spent 14k of my life saving to get this...

As you can imagine with Covid the DMV is pretty backed up and come November I still had not received my plates. I contacted Genuine and they worked with me and were very patient with me (and I assume the DMV, as well) in getting the plates, which I just received. Wow what can I say! This was my best experience ever buying a car from a used lot. The owner, Sam, is an amazing (and PATIENT!!) guy and I instantly had good vibes upon meeting him; just very kind, honest and not pushy at all, like buying a car from a friend. I drove up there from Lebanon, OR so it was a bit of a trip packing me, the lady, and the baby, so Sam was willing to hold the Audi for us while we were on our way. I spotted a 2011 Mercedes E-class on Autotrader and went in to see it. I drove it, had it taken to an independent shop for an inspection, and then decided to make an offer.Turned out the car was a consignment, and everybody but the car’s owner knew it was overpriced. The staff at Genuine went to work for me with the owner, and even cut their consignment fee to make the deal work.I’ve bought and sold enough cars in my lifetime to know when I’m getting sunshine blown up my ..., and there’s none of that here. these folks are the real deal. One of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had, and Sam and Jerry are tops in my book.Go see them if you’re in the market. They’ll treat you well and work to earn your business.

Amazing car buying experience. I called Sam to make an appointment before they opened and he immediately called me back. I had driven and purchased the car by 11 am that day. Sam was relaxed and professional. There was no pressure, and he didnt flinch, when I asked if I could load my car seat and my two kids in the car to take it for a spin. He even picked the check up from the credit union for me. I never thought I would say that buying a car was pleasant, but this experience certainly was. I will certainly be back, the next time we are in the market for a new vehicle.

Overall, I had two different experiences with them. On the buying end, it was a great experience. The sales team was low pressure and easy to talk to. They were not traditional car salesmen that you would normally get at a dealership. They gave me the keys to the car to drive around Portland without even asking for any identification. I think it was a fair price, and they were willing to negotiate via text which was pretty convient. 5 Stars.On the other hand, we had them title the car and order the license plates for us. They told us they would mail us these items when they received them. This would normally take 3-5 weeks if you go through the DMV. For some reason, this took 3 months. I am still waiting for my plates. The most frustrating part is I called 4 different times to ask about the plates. The fist time I called, the person who answered said we have your plates right here and will send them out tomorrow. A week went buy and I did not receive them. So I called again on a Friday. The guy said I have them right here and will send them out overnight. Did not receive them overnight. Called the following Monday, and they told me they were sent priority and I would get them by Tuesday. Did not receive them Tuesday. Called on Tuesday and they said they were sent out on Monday.All this while the 3 month temporary plate I have is now expired and my bank is waiting for the title. Im not sure why this occurred, but it was frustrating for sure. 1 Star for unnecessary runaround.Im sure this was just a one time thing and doesnt happen often here because they seem like genuinely good people, but I would just be clear with them what their process is on the back end so you dont get stuck driving a car around with expired plates for a week.Overall 3 star.

We were met by Kolby. We never experienced such great customer service in any past auto purchases. We wanted to trade a Porsche we purchased from another foreign car dealer after having it a week. We brought it in at 11:00 AM and by 11:30 we did our trade, also he agreed to allow us to consign another special interest car. Sam the owner thanked us personally and also assured us they stand behind their cars and wanted us to be sure and tell them if there ever was a concern. We asked Kolby to lunch after he drove our daughter back in our consigned vehicle. If you ever are interested in a European car, there is no better place to buy it than Genuine. In fact Kolby promised to find a new Mustang GT 5.0 for our son-in-law and is checking the US for the best deal for him. You can’t go wrong with the character of these fine young men.

Any car place can be decent when selling you a car because youre giving them money. But put a car on consignment with some of the other companies out there and thats where the real fun begins... Ive had bad experiences before and recently I decided to sell my beloved dream car. Under highly recommended from some buddies who only bought their cars from said car places, these other highly recommended places ended up being total douchebags when it came to the numbers and way they wanted to sell my car. Long story short - The guys at GMC (Sam, Kolby and Tim) made it easy and super professional. Their flat fee made the cost of selling HALF of what the other idiots wanted and their weird ways of doing business.I would highly recommend Genuine for anyone buying and ESPECIALLY selling their car! No sleazebags here!
