Brought the car in after it sat at my house for over a year. There was black mold in the interior and the exterior looked horrible. They said they would have my car for a week, they worked super fast and had it done in 3 days. The car looks brand new inside and out. I was overly impressed with how great of a job they did. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They were worth every penny, and I highly recommend their services whether its a detail job or reconditioning like I needed, they will get the job done. Their craigslist ad specifically states they do classic cars, their website clearly states it as well. I sent a detailed email with a picture of the damage for a quote.Their response, we are not accepting classic cars at this timeMaybe dont advertise that you do something when you dont.

I took my fiances car in for a complete detail as a birthday surprise while he was away for business for a week. Hes had his car for around 3 years and during this time hes regularly run it through the automatic car washes around town, but the car has never been detailed. It wasnt dirty but it wasnt clean either. It had been side swiped while parked at some point so it also had a scuff on the side as well.After Ace Reconditioning did their magic, his car looks brand new. Cleaner than when we bought it even! The scuff on the side is gone, the floor mats look brand new, and every inch of the car is sparkling clean. This birthday surprise was above and beyond my expectations and I will be a repeat customer (especially because now my car looks shabby sitting next to his in the driveway).

They repainted a couple of my doors after a car accident. They did an awesome job and will go back for paint work on my cars.

Went in for a quote to paint a hardtop for my convertible and was told a fair price of 800 dollars. When I went back in to get the work done- a different guy told me it would be closer to 1400. The price nearly doubled just from talking to different people.Would not recommend these scammers.

He answered any and all of my questions and called me often to give me updates on where they were on my car. Damages over $1,000 will get you a free rental car, which was really nice. I bought an Angies list deal for exterior detail and a Living Social deal for interior detail. Overall it was a very good experience and Eric the owner was great to talk to. I scheduled to drop my car off at 7:30am and they called and had it all done by 2pm even though I could not pickup until 5:30.As mainly a work vehicle Ive abused the interior of my car on the daily. They did a fantastic job, chairs looked and smelled nicely, the trim areas where I had some staining were clean and no stains noticeable. Everything was very clean.The exterior job that they did pretty good. I guess overall it was good. I had some adhesive on my car (it used to be wrapped in vinyl) and they got it all off. I did notice they missed the adhesive on the glass window sections on the back windows but it wasnt enough to bother me, that stuff comes off pretty easily with goo gone. However the body itself were great.After this experience I would recommend Ace to my friends and family for their services again.

We recently moved to the area from New York. I used a Detail shop there for 4 years that i thought was the best i ever used. Ace matched him in every way and our Subaru Outback looks terrific! I also have a black Trailblazer SS that I will soon take in. I highly recommend Ace to anyone who really cares about the appearance of their vehicles. They are top shelf!Took the Trailblazer in this week for complete detail and airbrush of small scratches. Trailblazer is a 2006 and I take great care of it and, I must say, it looks like new after the detail and airbrush. Got the engine detailed as well and WOW does it look great! I had a classic Mercedes that I had brought in to have some upholstery work done. Somehow, they accidentally cracked part of the interior drivers side door compartment. When I brought it to their attention, they told me they would order a replacement but they could not find the correct replacement part. Basically, they were not willing to work with me to make it right. I have been in the community for over 25 years and would advise any new customers to run for the hills. They are a fly by night operation and work is low quality. The customer service is horrible and the quality of work is not good. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

They were really helpful and professional when it came to fixing my car.It just took a little longer than I was expecting and communicating was not that well. But overall the work they did on my car was good and looks like new.

Both times ACE has done a first rate, top-notch job with the full detail on my car - which lives outside and gets pretty caked with crud. My car has come back looking (and smelling) brand new inside and out...always a pleasure. The fact that I could have a nice Loaner Car for $10.00 was a plus too. I recently had my Yukon Denali XL detailed inside and outside by Ace Reconditioning in Tigard. My appointment was scheduled approximately 10 days after my initial call. I did have to leave a voice mail the first time I called, but someone called me back within 2 hours. This is acceptable to me, as I understand the need to have employees doing more than answering the telephone. Due to the size of my vehicle, the light-colored upholstery and the need to thoroughly dry the carpets, I needed to leave my vehicle overnight for it to dry thoroughly. The vehicle was ready when they said it would be ready, the interior clean without odor, and the outside bright and shiny. The price was more than reasonable for the size of my vehicle and the condition of the interior. I believe I paid approximately $320 for the entire service, which I considered more than fair. No hesitation at all to recommend Ace Reconditioning.

I called on a Tuesday and was able to schedule a time for that Friday morning. I brought my car in at 8am and by 3pm it was done! The car looked perfect inside and out! Paid their asking price (200$) for my Quad cab truck when I got home after they had it 9am-6pm I noted it was still somewhat dirty . There was not much attention to detail. The cup holder not cleaned areas under rear seat not vacuumed rubber floor mat poorly cleaned streak of mud in carpet not cleaned at the edge. polishing compound residue in door jamb. Took it back they re cleaned some of the spots I showed them while I waited but still missed some after I had showed them especially the cup holder. I feel I got a FAST job not a good detail. The exterior was done pretty well at least the employee was nice. Not going to waste the time and effort to take it back a 3rd time. They had also done my car on a coupon I bought it was done better then the truck. If you go there Take the time to carefully inspect for details before you leave. Maybe I expect too much detail for $200.On My car I asked for an estimate to fix 2 small scratches on my rear bumper They wanted $450 to sand them and spot paint the areas. I had a body shop estimate to fix scratches and paint the entire bumper for $350 so shop around for that type of repair 1st.

These guys are my new BFFs! Last year they did a quality job detailing my sports car prior to storage for the winter. I can see how such detailed care will definitely help to keep the cars value up! So, I brought it back again this year. Then, when I asked about my 20 year old spend all the time in the weather car, they did a small buffing sample, which showed promise, so I left that car for exterior detailing also. When I picked up the car it was shinning like new! Unbelievable! I was so delighted! (I also recommend having the headlights done...wow....it took 10 years off the look of my car!) Nice job guys! Amazing job! I had cat hair and urine stains from an unhappy feline during a long move. They cleaned it all up. No more smells, stains, or fur. Looked (and smelled) as good as new. I brought in an 03 Vibe for bumper repairs and detail. They did a great job; everything looks almost as clean as the day the car was made, although it really highlights the little tiny chips which werent worth fixing. They happily gave me a loaner, and the cost was competitive. Only issue is that they forgot to put stuff back in the car, but Eric personally delivered it to our house the same day!

My 2008 Subaru looks new. The Tigard shop did an excellent job with interior detailing. The seats had been stained by rain water and the stains are gone. The cleaning was very thorough and Eric was proactive and customer focused. The price was very reasonable as well. I recommend this shop!

Easy to schedule, was able to drop off my car before opening hours with the drop box. Very prompt service, finished when they said they would and got a call when it was done. Work (tint) was done more than satisfactorily. When picking up the vehicle they were very helpful in explaining how to avoid ruining it in the next few days. Turned out great and has held up really well too. No weird bubbles, streaks, or lines. Quality work, great people!

Im very pleased with the job Ace Car Reconditioning did on my Buick Rendezvous. I have not had good luck in the past with auto detailing Groupon purchases, but this company was very responsive, making an appointment set for within the week. On the morning of the appointment, they called to confirm the appointment, then called to let me know when the job would be complete. I had the compounding, wax and polish service done on my car. Surface scratches came out and my car looks beautiful. Eric is very accommodating, easy to work with, and explains the process thoroughly. He also gave me a ride to and from a nearby mall, where I spent a pleasant few hours. My car usually has a giant very furry dog in the back seat, I just got back from a camping trip that involved miles of dusty dirt road, and over a year ago pollen from a tree combined with water to make a kind of cement on the door facings of the car. Even with all that, Ace did a great job detailing the interior. I was pleasantly surprised that the hidden spots I thought they would miss were clean. Also, they honored a voucher that was quite a bit past the expiration date.Id recommend them to anyone for car detailing.

I had my two front windows tinted. The appointment was made, I was reminded in advance. When I arrived at the shop was warmly greeted in a nice clean office. The work was completed ahead of schedule and was expertly done. I am very happy with the results and the price and will be returning to get my back windows done soon.

Ive used Ace twice: once for a minor dented panel that they fixed up quickly and cheaply, and once for a more involved repair after hitting a deer. Both times they were responsive and I was very happy with the outcome. They worked well with my insurance company.The only negative Ive had is that when I hit the deer my car was there for a very long time (close to a month) but the other fender bender was repaired quickly. Maybe I just got unlucky on the timing around Thanksgiving there. Anyway everything else was great!

Excellent! After receiving three other quotes for bumper work I decided to go with Ace and glad I did. They are extremely professional and very customer service oriented. Their price to fix my bumper came in below the other quotes plus they provided a free loaner car. All I had to do was bring it back with a full tank of gas. After removing the scratches and dings plus repainting, the bumper looks brand new. Color was a perfect match. Highly recommend.

I just called to get a quote on a tint job for my Taurus. Not many places I called were answering so you can imagine my excite when the phone was answered. I was eating cereal and was immediately put on hold. This gave me ample time to finish my rice crispies. By the time I was finished Jeff still hadn’t come back to the phone, it was about 5-6 minutes. I had what can only be described as a detailing emergency. We had just come home from camping on a Saturday afternoon. Our dog had gotten sick all over the back seat of the car and the rest of it was covered with camping filth. It was 92 degrees outside, and I knew the smell was never going to come out of my car if I let it sit over the weekend. I called a bunch of shops, none of which were open on weekends. When I called Ace and someone actually answered the phone, I almost cried. :) I told them about my predicament, and even though it was late in the day and only a few hours from closing, they agreed to get me in for a quick interior detail. I really only expected them to clean the fresh yuck out of the back seat, but instead I received a fully cleaned interior!!!! And at a totally reasonable price, considering the circumstances. They were absolute lifesavers!!!!!!!!!! They have earned a customer for life, and I have already recommended them to several friends.

Id give no star if I could. I run an automotive shop and have used this shop a few times. Sometimes their work is relatively good so I took my sons 2008 Honda Civic in to get detailed. It had been a bit neglected so I wasnt expecting miracles. I dropped the car off Monday and was told it would be done by Monday evening. I called before they closed and it wasnt done. I gave them until the next day and asked them to call when it was done. I received no call and figured I would just get it Wednesday. Still hadnt received a call by 4:00pm Wednesday. I called and they said it was done. Picked it up and found the rear bumper had a huge scratch on the right rear and the interior detail was poorly done. There were spots all over the car and when I spoke to the manager he said that it had rained and the scratch was already there. I said I was positive there wasnt a scratch there and had two people who were with me picking it up and dropping it off that could confirm that and his response was F*** you, take your car somewhere else. That pretty much sums it up. Paying 150.00 is a good price for a detail if its even done marginally well. However, the dent repair will cost over 500.00 and in my opinion, I received about the worst customer experience possible.

Took my wifes car in for the smallest, easiest door scratch. took a week to complete and keyless entry stopped working afterwards. had to give her a ride to get it fixed again and hit a pot hole on the road which damaged my rim and tire. not a great day.

Dropped my truck off for some more window tint and no complaints. Price was right and they did a great job. Super convenient for me as they are within walking distance of work.

I got a coupon for Ace from Angies List, where they are top-rated company. Although the Tigard location is also a body shop, I was just in for a detail. The results were very impressive. I actually cant believe how clean it is - there were places that I never realized were even dirty but look completely different.The shop doesnt look like much, but Edgar was very helpful, communicative and had my car done right at the time he told me.

We recently moved to Portland from the East Coast & cross country trips made our 2 VW bugs very messy inside & out. After a day at Ace being detailed inside & out, both cars looked better than they ever had! Our only problem was trying to locate their shop which we attribute to being new to Portland, but Ace went out of their way to help us get there, even going the extra mile to meet us in a fast food parking lot & personally leading us to their business! Prices are reasonable & results are amazing. Highly recommend!!!

I (once) had another shop detail a car for me and it was a disaster -- but at the recommendation of Peters Auto Works, I gave Ace a try. The results were fantastic. Not only did they get the hot cocoa out of the back seat, but the old girl looks almost showroom new. And for 165,000 miles, thats pretty impressive! I am hooked and will have Ace continue to detail my car on at least an annual basis.

My Dad take his cars here when he needs repair so he sent me over for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great service and fast. Also, for the work they provide they are very reasonable with their pricing! I highly recommend them.

I used a $99 coupon for auto detailing from Angies List. These folks made our car look like new! (That is, insofar as a 13-year-old Honda Accord can be made to look like new.) They reconditioned the leather, shampooed the floors (twice), and cleaned out all those little nooks and crannies that mere mortals cannot get into.One warning: This service takes all day, and there is nowhere to hang out in or around their establishment. So, either plan to have someone give you a ride, or ask in advance to use one of their free loaner cars.

I cannot express strongly enough how impressed I was by the quality of their work and the amazing level of customer service that makes going to Ace a very positive experience. On top of everything, their prices are extremely reasonable. Thank you so much Eric and Marco for taking care of my situation!!!

Very disappointed, it was more like a good hand wash but definitely not a detail job. I took my 2011 grey Mini cooper S with black top and black wheels today at 9am for exterior detail. I showed the front desk guy, Marco, what I want done on it, the water stains, the black front and back corners, the black top, the black wheels and all the chrome pieces as I have the chrome kit on it. I got a call back at 3:30pm telling me it is done, but it wasnt!!!! the top all around the car was not touched, the water stains were not done around the water nozzles, the black corners between the hood and the top were done from one side only and the other side was not touched, the chrome was not properly finished. The excuse I got for the half ass job they did was we dont want to burn the plastic that surround the top!!!!! not sure if they know what they are doing or if it was the first time they do exterior detail on a car that have plastics!! I even doubt they did anything to the paint, seems like they washed it and applied some wax and thats about it. what bothered me on top of everything is the bad excuses I got for everything I pointed out being not done. The price they gave me for the job was $165, I ended up paying $82.5 half the price for the half ass job. Unprofessional Ace shop I must say.

Great job interior detailing for reasonable price. Ace clearly had a pride of ownership lacking at other places... and that makes all the difference. Even gave me a loaner for the day for next to nothing. Highly recommend.

I have taken two of my vehicles to Ace for window tinting. Both times they were extremely helpful and did a great job with the tint. They offered a loaner car, even (Though I had already arranged to be picked up). The prices were reasonable and the service was great! Ill be using their services again!

Fantastic service. Quick turnaround. Although they made a small error, they owned up to it honestly and are going to fix it without hesitation. Their price is insanely lower than Leifs! I would definitely recommend them.

Had a few small chips and dings in our Jeep that were starting to bother us and one larger scratch down to the metal of the car. While the scratch was way too deep to remove completely, Ace did a great job fixing all dents, repairing rust stains and bringing the car up to an-almost-new-look with a great outside detail. Completely satisfied with the look and quick completion of time (all in a days time)...they even drove us to the office after we dropped the car off! Not the first time weve used Ace, wont be the last. Highly recommend.

It was a good bargain from Angies and they did an excellent job on the interior one Saturday. I accidentally left my GPS on the service desk, and it was safe the next week when I called on Monday. The guy who checked me in was very nice to work with.

I received a AAA deal coupon for paintless dent repair. $69 to get rid of a dent on my 550i that had been mocking me every time I washed my car? Sure, why not? I wasnt expecting much to be honest.When I walked in Eric greeted me with a smile, looked over the car and found several more dents that I hadnt even noticed! Ah, to have young eyes again!I left my car there for the repair.Eric called me a few hours later to inform me the car was done and could be picked up anytime before they closed at 5:30PM.When I picked up the car Eric again greeted me and knew me by name. This may not sound like a big deal as I had just met him 6 - 7 hours earlier, but Ive dealt with numerous businesses that couldnt remember my name after 30- minutes.All around great customer service, FANTASTIC work, and very affordable.I will use them again when the need arises.

Got my windows tinted about a week ago and they look great. The service was good, and when I got my car back that day, they had given my car a thorough washing too! Was not expecting that and it was a pleasant surprise. Would certainly go back.
