Today I needed a mirror for my 2005 Pontiac Bonneville. I called Pep Boys Store #2 in Portage, Mi. It was my lucky day! I spoke with Howard and even though he no longer could find a replacement, he helped me find it online. He also found the perfect size gas can for me. Howard was what every customer service person should strive to be. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and went beyond just answering the phone. So if you are a female and need some help with car stuff...Howard is the man you need to speak with. He will not laugh or belittle you for not knowing terms. He will help you until your problem is resolved.

Huge inside, clean wich is a big must when I shop (but who doesnt like that?) Very friendly staff but they are willing to go above and beyond to get you parts that you need, theyll have people who work at other stores bring parts that might be out of stock like what other store is willing to do that? Absolutely suggest to anyone!!

The woman behind the counter sold me parts that were opened, and resealed. After bringing the parts to my mechanic he expressed that half of them were missing. And I have to go back and return them wasting gas and time.I will no longer be using auto value.

First, the clerk nearly kept my card. I had to remind her to return it. Second, I called yesterday to see if I was credited for a part returned and I am not sure I will be credited for it. Not good! (They tried to tell me to contact my credit union.) Its not likely I will shop there again.

Absolutely a life saver! Quinten is a gem and truly saved my tail on more than one occasion. Most recently helping get the right parts for my mother-in-law’s 2005 Ford Focus. I had already went to Advance and Auto Zone and was sold the wrong Alternator and Serpentine TWICE! Quinten right away realized the issues was this was a California emissions car which made it have different alternator, serpentine belt, etc. With his help and truly listening to my needs, he was able to end my 2 week trip down the rabbit hole.Thanks Quinten!

Went in with a few questions as I’m not a car guy. Quinten helped me with all of the questions I had and even made a “go lions” comment as I had on my lions shirt. Not being a car guy going into these types of stores is somewhat intimidating. It was nice to be put at ease and have all my questions answered at the same time. I will for sure be back in the future. Thanks again.

I stop in to this auto value with my grandson a few days ago to get some tune up parts and while waiting in line i could not believe the nasty language from the red headed guy behind the counter, completely uncalled for, needless to say we left before we were waited on and will not go back

Think I called every part store for a Oring on my Honda crv oil dipstick..Was told I had to go thru the dealer and or Pay for freight..until tonight..Thankyou for the kindness and patience..He didnt even charge me anything and now its fixed!!..Thanks again

Was getting my vehicle serviced at a nearby garage and decided to kill some time taking a look in the parts store. Decided to buy a breaker bar and a couple items I had been needing and asked at the counter. Probably the least helpful interaction Ive ever had with a person at a parts store.They didnt have the first item I asked for in stock so I asked about a breaker bar. It was such an odd interaction almost like I was supposed to already know the type, price, and specifics of tools they sold/had in stock, and were very hesitant to give any assistance. It was like I had to guess what they might have in stock and if I guess right they might tell me about the item. Such an awkward experience I didnt care to buy a breaker bar or anything else on my list from them after that. Left and went to another parts store. Ill never head back to this store and will recommend against others doing so.

I needed some wiper blades for my car and went here, the guy behind the counter was extremely rude to me so i went to the other auto value store in town and they were nice they even put them on my car, this store is not worth going to
