Huge selection of products, no matter what you are shopping for. The store is safe and secure, with a plethora of video surveillance. If you are shopping for a certain hair style, length, or color, they most likely carry it. If you are looking for haircare products, there are 3 aisles to look through.There are numerous staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about hair and haircare products. They owners are very pleasant. I have patronized this establishment on numerous occasions and highly recommend shopping here.

Honestly my experiences have always been amazing. I literally drive 35 minutes to go here. They have everything. However my experience yesterday was terrible. I took the drive and brought a hair blow dryer and some other things. However, when I took the hair dryer home and opened it seemed to have someone else’s hair in the combs. A lot of it too. I’m not sure why they decided to put that on their shelves....anyways I called they said I could return it. That was fine I was a little upset because I had to drive there 35 minutes out of my day. When I got there they accepted the return. I brought another hair dryer and asked if I could receive any type of courtesy. Considering I had to take time out of my day. The man told me “Unfortunately no” twice, this really made me upset. I would if accepted a $5 coupon. Honestly, anything for me having to waste my gas on their mistake. I will try to add photos that I took of the brush. Wanted to add the picture together finally learned how. Also I feel like this girl kept following me everywhere. Literally down the aisle and even watching me pay. Long story short work on your customer service! I won’t be returning! Mind u I’ve been coming here since u guys first opened.

Extremely nasty customer service, I wouldn’t shop here even if it’s the last store on earth. I simple asked why is it we can’t try the wig and instead of answering the clerk behind the register and the Worker BRITTANY is extremely rude, I’ve been shopping there for so long cause it’s convenient but never again BRITTNEY attitude is nasty, being in business I could never have her at the forefront of my business. I urge the owner to get better customer service associates, I was so disgusted I didn’t bother to buy anything. Such a turn off. I encourage going elsewhere cause it’s a crime to ask questions in this store.

Have been going here for years! They have the largest selection of 613 blonde hair in NJ! Anyone know different, please let me know LOL! I have literally been everywhere from here to South Jersey North Jersey everywhere in Jersey looking for beauty supply that had a ample amount of 613 options! I’ve been platinum blonde over 10 years. Most places will have a few options but super repetitive. This beauty supply has not let me down! Even though I moved over an hour away,I make that trip without hesitation. Very consistent, Great service and Always surprising me with new options! Thanks guys!

Called and asked for manager today and pleasantly identified myself and was rudely hung up on. Im in the Plainfield area often (my church is in Summit) and I often have to pick up hair products (conditioners primarily). After my phone experience today I certainly would not spend my money at an establishment who practiced rudeness.

Ive been to this place a few times and Im never disappointed, unless the product I want is sold out. They have an extremely large section of hair, hair products, skin products, everything. The staff is actually friendly and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend going to this place if you are looking for a wide variety of products for your hair and skin.

The young lady that helped explained the good the bad and just dont buy it for weave hair. The staff did not follow tye customers around the store like other places Ive been to. Clean with a very large selection of all products. This will be my new beauty supply store

The old man ( maybe he’s the owner) pretended he was talking in the phone just to follow me around the the aisles. At first I didn’t think anything of it but then I noticed he was at every aisle I turned!!!They do have good selection of products however, I personally feel uncomfortable shopping there.

Great supply of hair and wigs, but management is unfriendly and unaccomodating. The rule about only trying on 5 wigs is ridiculous and cost them a sale. No discounts for cancer/chemo patients either.

I have been living in Plainfield, NJ since November 2017. I have purchased items from this store twice in the past, and the customer service was great. Today when i went in, everything was fine until the old man tried to accuse me of stealing after i literally was just standing at the register being rung up. He actually followed me out of the store and kept trying to grab for my purse, after i voluntarily opened my purse for him to see i didnt steal anything, and i had a f***ing receipt. I will no longer be shopping at this beauty supply store anymore, i feel very insulted.

Its okay, but need more quality wigs for cheaper prices.

So respectful, Im never followed, and they have a huge selection. A little over priced in some areas but hey, I support people who dont profile me.

I love this store. They have everything you need for haircare and make-up. Their wigs are reasonably priced. I only had one bad experience wherein I purchased a human hair wig and the style I thought I was getting was not correct. Did not take it back because I thought the sample wig had been styled differently but in fact, it was a totally different style. Oh well, you live and learn. But I still rate them a 5 because caveat emptor, let the buyer beware. Next time I will open the package to check Im getting what I want.

I walked in this morning and seen the old guy who is the boss yelling at the young ladies that work here in the entrance of the store. He was yelling at them like they were animals and telling them to shut up and obey him. I usually shop here but after seeing that it disgusted me. I asked the young ladies how they felt about working here and I honestly feel bad for them, they are human beings and very nice and helpful at that, and for them to be treated like this makes me sick to my stomach. The curly wigs look terrible and old and the wigs have a sweaty odor. Some of the products are expired so be careful and check the date on their products as well. But honestly I wouldn’t shop here Walmart has better prices.

Always fully stocked! Expensive but 1 stop shopping! I tell the lil man im ok if i need help i will ask.

So i was always skeptical about buying hair/extension in these store but i must say the peruvian body wave i bought, I was able to wash and reuse 4 times now. Doesnt shed and every use looks more natural. It doesnt nat-up. The owner if thats the person I met was very patient and helpful. Oh and everything you need for skin and hair care you can get. They also have wigs but i dont wear wigs but they do look stylish.

Great experience had purchased wrong item they were just locking the doors they let me in and let me exchange products with no problem.

I recently moved to NJ and went to this location a few times. On my visit, I had to make an exchange because the clip on ponytail that I purchased for my daughter looked too grown. The item was $9.99. I have spent over $400 in the store since I have moved. Smh. The female Asian lady was going to let me choose something else a (male Asian) man was very upset at her and said that there was no exchange. I will NEVER SHOP there again!!! I am a business owner as well as I could understand if it were a pack of weave or other product but really ... a clip on! I should read the comments on here about discrimination before I spent my $400 here.

The African girl followed me all around the store like I was going to steal something. I felt so uncomfortable I spoke to the manager. The manager apologized to me but then gave me an attitude when I was done paying for my products. I never stole anything in my life. Everybody dont deserve to be treated like that.

I spend so much money in that store but I will no longer be a customer because I recently purchased over $100 worth of hair products and purchased a travel size diffuser however, I wanted to exchange the diffuser for a more expensive one(that wasnt travel sized) but was told I cant return or exchange any hot tools item. I was shocked because I was just there two days prior and wasnt told that theres a strict policy when I bought it initially. There customer service is horrible in that sense because it wasnt opened or anything. Will not shop here just because of how the manager, David Lee just told me no and walked away.****UPDATE I even called to speak with the manager after work to let the manager know that Im disappointed on how he treated me and that his cashier and himself should state this to other future customers when buying the products and he stated oh no, I wouldnt tell you that, you didnt speak with me, you can come in and I asked him what changed because I was just there during my lunch break. I speak very professional and polite at all times but he didnt even let me speak when I was at the store (cause he walked away when I asked a question) as I was trying to exchange and purchase more items but I know what changed because of the color of my skin, he was rude and discriminating me. Never will I walk into that store again. I hope David Lee treats people of color better because his store is targeted to us but he will never get a dollar from me again.
