Horrible customer service and lack of response and responsibility - I sent an expensive ($2500) electronic device to them to calibrate, they shipped it back poorly packaged and damaged and uninsured.After sending email with photos George Urban the owner denys responsibility to ensure the item is properly packed and insured.He reluctantly agreed to pay to repair the devise and now ignores my emails and phone calls since I received an invoice for the repair he agreed to cover. Unbelievable, I have given him more than two months to respond to one of my many calls or emails.What should have just cost around $500 for calibration fees now resulted in a payment to Cal Tec and a $1300 repair bill plus what I spent on packing and insurance.

I have temperature logger made by company that went out of business and were unable to renew NIST traceable certificates. Cal Tec Labs gave a good price and calibrate my device fast and accurate, no matter what they had no previous experience with this particular brand. I would highly recommend doing business with them.

Cal Tec has saved the day twice for one of my high specification projects. In both cases, we required calibrated instruments (multimeter and pressure gauge) to pass critical inspections. Cal Tec was willing to do whatever it took to turn around the instruments as fast as possible, while providing all the required documents in a professional manner. Our Quality Department also regularly uses Cal Tec to calibrate instruments scheduled for regular reviews.
