Amazing!! We came here randomly and fell in love. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious!! I got the butternut squash risotto with scallops (not on the menu). We also got the lobster ravioli. Both were amazing! If you are in the area you definitely need to try this place and in the mood for Italian food.

I decided to have a dinner date at Pubblico for the first time and I was very pleased with a lot of things. First off, the staff so extremely friendly and very attentive. We order the bruschetta and it was the most delicious I’ve had in a long time. My date and I ordered a pizza side salad and the sea bass. To start, the portions are very filling! I did have a bit of a hiccup with my order of the sea bass because it was scaly and riddled with bones, when I informed the waiter if it was normal he immediately asked to have it replaced with something else and I did have the salmon. The salmon was FANTASTIC and the waiter didn’t have to but he did go out of his way to make sure my experience was perfect! The restaurant comped my meal which I thought was so thoughtful and they definitely went above and beyond. I would recommend to anyone!

Great atmosphere (but youll need a light to read the menu). The clams were amazing, good meatballs. Pizza was a bit salty, but good. Happy hour drinks were very watered down. I thought they were light, but when the one I ordered after happy hour was three times darker, I was certain. All in a good experience and Ill go back again.

If I were giving the review on this pizza alone, I would have possibly gone lower on my rating but the general consensus at the table was “decent”.The pasta is house made which is a plus.I would not Personally drive across town for this again and the people visiting from out of town will probably not ever phoenix by this restaurant.

The service at this place was great when my friend and I visited last week. Calamari was ok! I tried their chicken fettuccini. I personally thought the noodles were too thick and pasta was salty. Not sure if it’s usually salty or if it was just that day. My friend had the clam linguine and she found her food salty as well. Mediocre food. Overall it was an ok experience but I don’t know if I would return.

Excellent experience overall. I really liked the cozy ambience, our server was accommodating and very friendly, and the service was surprisingly quick. Between our party, we tried the Margherita, butternut squash risotto, clam linguine, and lobster raviolis, besides various beers and wines. All were delicious, and I personally recommend the risotto—the butternut squash was perfectly sauteed so that it melted in the mouth.

Celebrated my 20th anniversary at Pubblico Italian Eatery a marvelous little Bistro on 7th street. They have a nice little patio and it was a perfect setting for our special occasion. We selected Pubblico because the serve cioppino which is a seafood linguine with fresh lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari in a savory seafood broth. We split the entree so we could sample some of the other offerings. We started with the scampi appetizer followed by 2 small salads my wife had the Arugula and I tried the Strawberry both were excellent. Then on to the cioppino it has a $48.00 price tag with a $8.00 split charge but well worth every penny. We tried to save room for dessert we really wanted to try the Creme brulee but we had no more room, oh well next time... Please support our local businesses and do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Decidedly mediocre. The consensus of us around that table was it was edible and were not hungry now but...meh. Over priced for the general quality and quantity of the food. Noodles were overcooked by a considerable margin, my friend described his pizza as unnecessarily bland. If there is nowhere else to eat or you were invited by a friend...whatever, itll be a pricey average meal. Id honestly rather eat at Olive Garden, which isnt exactly high end food but at least you get all the free breadsticks you can eat. The juice, as they say, is not worth the squeeze.

Tonight was my first time going to Pubblico Italian Eatery and Im pleasantly surprised. We started our evenings with some beverages. We ordered the Sangria which was fresh and tangy, and a cocktail called the Dark Crystal that was sweet and tart. For food we got a Short Rib Ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce and the seafood risotto. The short rib ravioli was amazing. The cream sauce and mushrooms complimented the ravioli so well, and the steak medallion that came with it was impeccable. The seafood risotto was also done very well and had a fantastic variety of different sea foods. The rice was cooked al dente which isnt our preference but it was still delicious. The staff were constantly checking in and making sure that our needs were taken care of. The atmosphere and ambience are very cozy. Pubblico is not a very large eating establishment but the modern decor and mood lighting make the dining room a very welcoming and enjoyable place to have a meal. I definitely plan on returning and hopefully trying something new.

It was a busy night so understandably the kitchen would be an issue. Our reso wasnt ready so management offered us an appetizer. Service was fantastic, food was average at best. Sea Bass way over done, but the pasta was good. The chicken parmesan was completely over cooked, burnt on edges, the pasta was not even close to El Dente BUT the flavour on the Chicken Parm was great, so I need to give it another go. Staff bought a dessert and a glass of wine for our trouble which was great gesture, enough for us to come back again. Good atmosphere, GREAT staff and management, I will go back and give the food a go again.

Absolutely horrible service from the start. Had a group of 8 and most of our meals came out cold. Everything tasted mediocre at best. The waiter, Alberto, put in zero effort to attend to our table and constantly forgot what we asked for as soon as he walked away. Im sure the 18% automatic gratuity played a factor and it definitely showed. You would think this place would be good for the expensive price on Everything, but I would not recommend it to anyone and will not be back. I was there just last night. This is definitely a place where the food is the guiding force. All the seafood we had was amazing and cooked in a delicious and appropriate sauce. The service was good (she was super nice and human and offered us bread to dip in our extra clam sauce) but where this place falls short is the vibe in general. We were seating right near the entry door at a table that sat next to the tables against the wall. Its almost a little too casual and noisy over there and the seating arrangements are very unorganized. I continued to have the servers and guests bumping into my chair while I ate and drank. The tables are also not flat (rustic wood) so the drinks were being shook as we dined, had me on edge! Lol... It started to feel like a Red Robin or something when the food spoke to a much higher caliber of experience. This place was an overall great experience so 5 fives all around. I only want to suggest that the food and prices align better with its atmosphere. Perhaps being outside might have been less chaotic but inside, the tables werent spaced appropriately. It was a nearly perfect experience if not for the seating /sound chaos.

Not gonna lie. Given the few reviews and little publicity this restaurant is getting, I was VERY hesitant to try it. I only did because it was a featured restaurant for a loyalty program of which I am part. However, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in all of Arizona! In fact, we loved it for dinner so much that we returned the next day for lunch!Everything is made fresh in-house. The pasta, pizza...EVERYTHING is made from 100% scratch and 100% natural ingredients. It is one of those places where you walk out (even after eating a lot of food), and dont feel bloated. You actually feel BETTER because of how fresh everything is.The ambiance of this place may make it not seem like the kind of restaurant that would dish out top-quality entrees, but trust me when I say that this is some of the most authentic Italian food you can get!Try the seafood fettuccini -- you wont regret it!

The short rib ravioli was out of this world - 4 large raviolis AND a beef medallion - perfectly cooked, flavorful sauce, filling and worth the money. My husband had both the calamari and the seafood pasta - it’s super difficult to find decent seafood in the middle of the desert (Phoenix) but he said that Pubblico did an excellent job. Everything was so good. Really good. We each had a glass of wine (a French Rose and a chianti) to start and the mussels for an appetizer. The wine pour was just enough... not to little where youre left wondering if they just ran out of that bottle and not too much when youre left wondering if theyre trying to over serve to compensate for something else.I dont know about you but I dont like it when mussels come in a bowl all jumbled up. This dish had about 20 mussels perfectly arranged in a beautiful radial pattern emanating from a cluster of 5-7 more mussels all with diced garlic and mushrooms, in a deliciously light buttery-red broth. The dish came with a light, fluffy grilled slice of bread that soaked up the broth in between bites. Ugh, so good.We both opted for ravioli, from both ends of the spectrum and menu. His creamy short rib ravioli from the bottom left of the inside menu came with a perfectly seared and lightly charred beef medallion. It complimented the pasta very well.My lobster ravioli came from the top of the menu and it had two jumbo shrimp and one scallop perfectly prepared to accompany the lobster and ricotta filled shells. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious.Bernardo was our server and he was down to earth, accommodating and clearly proud of the kind of food they prepare and serve fresh each day.Even though the restaurant is on a main street, its kind of off the beaten path but so well worth a visit. I rarely go for an Italian pasta restaurant but this one hit the spot, perfectly.

Upsides- Gracious hosts, waiters, servers. Food was phenomenal. Party of eight ordered a variety of entrees. Each was presented well and tasted delicious. The serving size was very generous. We all noticed the butter sauce that came with the shrimp scampi, and because it was so yummy we had to keep ordering more bread to sop it up! WOW! Great food...Downsides- Very very noisy as one wall is brick and it is hard for servers and customers to hear each other when it’s busy. Also noted that when the lights go down about 7:30pm, the menus are exceedingly hard to read. They are printed on tan paper, with amber headings and grey print and 20-something small type. (Almost all the patrons were in their 30’s and older.) The waitress couldn’t even read the beer selection from the menu. Every table patrons were using cell phones and flashlights to read menu.Additionally, there seemed to be no plate assignment to the table and when food arrived, the runner asked- “Who ordered ‘such and such’” and we all had to listen for each other’s food and point to where the seat where it should be delivered. Not what you would expect from such a yummy food place. Those both are simple fixes for such a great restaurant.
