Went in for a break flush and recommended me to get my front break pads changed and said it would be 200 for that service on top of the other one. Made no sense since only the front pads are about 20-35 dollars and inside he had pricing for services where I saw that they charge $99 for that service. Also he did not check the fuse on the vehicle I spoke to him about but I will say I am satisfied with the break fluid flush and even checked it myself to make sure. Felt a little bit like a upsell and maybe thought I knew nothing about cars

My daughter’s check engine light came on while we were passing through Phoenix. I believe that the owner’s name is Kim or maybe Tim, and when we called to see if he was open and had time to let us stop by close to closing time, he kindly accommodated us. We stopped by the shop and he helped us run the codes and see what was wrong with the car. I also asked if he could change the oil, but upon checking the level and color of the fluid, he suggested waiting about 2,000 more miles since the color/quality was still okay. I appreciate an honest mechanic and this man is just that.

I went in to see about a transmission fluid service, ended up getting a oil change also.They were very professional the shop looks very clean and organized, they were very knowledgeable.Their prices are very reasonable and they give you an honest time frame and are punctual, they dont waste their customers time.My car runs wonderfully. I called in to get my Chevy Malibu done on Monday and was blown away! They were able to get me a great quote over the phone which was cheaper than anyone around! I was able to get my car towed there and had my fuel pump fixed the same day!! Only took 2 hours! When I went in to get my car it started right up and drives great!!! Im a first time customer to Mr. Mechanic. This is a small shop that at first glance outside the great reviews you may pass over. I almost did and Im glad I didnt. I primary worked with Tim in the front office. Tim has a good personality and kept me updated with phone calls to confirm the estimate and pictures of the parts they replaced. Just like they advertise they also charge a fair price for the repairs.With modern vehicles lasting longer and longer it is important owners have someone they can trust to take care of those high milage maintenance requirements and the occasional check engine lite. I have been having issues with my O2 sensors for YEARS brought it to the dealership 2 years ago to address. They had my car for a month, still didnt pass emissions. This year I, again, had the same issue. Brought my car to Tim on Monday morning and had my car back my Monday afternoon. Passed emissions today with flying colors. My father has been going to Tim for years. I will never let another person work on my vehicle. Tim is A1: honest, upfront and efficient. Do yourself a favor and try this place. This place is great! After my mobile mechanic bailed on me, I called Tim at 330pm. He said come on down, we will do your brakes today Arrived at 4pm and a complete front brake job was done by 5pm for $150! ( They allowed me to bring my own Lexus OEM parts).

Tim has been great. Over the last few months I have been to his shop on three different occasions. First was for a simple fuse. He did everything he could to help me diagnose the issue so I could do it. A few weeks later I had him do my clutch. He gave a me a very fare estimate and before doing any extra work contacted me. The last time I was having a major problem with misfire and needed to have it fix for work the next day. He stayed late and was able to get me back on the Road. I wont be taking my vehicles anywhere else.

Hard to find the right words to define this shop! Its beyond awesome. I have a Jeep which has had a death wobble for over 13 years! I have been to numerous shops and no one has been able to rectify the problem. Well until now!! Tim and his son were able to assess the issue and make a temporary fix. It is so wonderful to feel safe when driving and know that the dreaded wobble is gone!! My daughter and I have been looking for a shop that wont take advantage of women and I think we have found it!! This place was absolutely beyond phenomenal. They knew exactly how to help us with our brakes. Being that we were only in town for a day, they took the time to help get our brakes fixed and replaced our air filter. They worked with us even though they were about to close, we felt they cared about our welfare on the road and took the time to fix our vehicle without any hesitation. We are happy with what a great job they have done and lastly a cool lil purple flashlight given to us. Tim did a great job! After listening to my car issue, he told me what he thought it was. He then showed me his testing to prove his diagnoses was correct and gave me a quote for repair. Then walked me through the steps to fix it. Applied the fix. Then retested showing me the new results proving the check engine light P0420 for a bad catalytic converter will not come back. I checked pricing and he was very low compared to some of the other online shops. If I need work again I will go to Mr. Mechanic first. Thanks Tim!

An issue popped up in my car and I was on the internet reading $600, $800 dollar fix for this certain issue blah blah blah I called Mr.Mechanic and Trevor gave me a really detailed diagnosis on my car and explained that it was low on brake fluid and that my disc and pads were wore out sure enough he added some fluid and all my warning lights went off. My belt was wore out also and I changed it I cannot believe how honest these guys were and how fast they work took care of my vehicle like it was their own. Thank you Tim and Trevor.

I couldnt figure out what was going on with my radiator and I was driving 500 miles home through Phoenix when the whole thing went south, Steam was pouring out the engine as I was almost passed the off-ramp on I-17. While cooling the thing down, I Googled BEST MECHANIC in Phoenix. Up popped Mr. Mechanic (Tim) and the reviews were all real good. Tim said Bring it on over if you can. The Mr. Mechanic garage was a mile away...Tim couldnt have been more accommodating and helpful. He found the original (124,000 miles) and complicated hose, tracked down a new part, installed it, checked all the other things associated with my cooling system and then put the car on the lift. My tires were really bad (I kinda knew that but was focused on getting home.) We did the best thing to get me home: replace the old tires with new, thus avoiding a dangerous situation with the old, front tires blowing out. They were pretty bad...Thank you Tim for such great service. I think the costs to get back on the road were very reasonable. I couldnt recommend Mr. Mechanic more highly.

The best mechanic Ive ever come across. I recommend trying these guys out before anyone else. Quick and professional work, as well as good pricing and complete honesty, they will not try to sell you anything you dont need. No reason to look anywhere else, Ive found my mechanic from here on out.

Tim has been my mechanic for only a few weeks now and I know he’s the only one in the valley I’ll go to again.I first met him when my 4Runner’s pinion bearings went bad. I was able to find the rear axle of the same make, model and year for free, so he took mine off from the transmission and put on the new to me axle for $500 flat, and when we found out the pinion seal from the old axle was spewing fluid, he had a gasket seal delivered and swapped out within an hour.Next time I went to him was for an auto inspection for as used 99’ ES300 at 140k miles I was buying. Originally $2500 I was able to get the final buying price to $1600 as he did a $75 inspection that included a code read and putting it up on the mount thing to inspect the under carriage.Tim found the front left CV Axle was broken ($400 job), the sway bar on the front right tire was exposed ($75 repair) and could blow at any minute, the knock sensor was reading on the code ($400 job easily) the timing belt needed replacing soon (expensive for those that know) among a few other things like electrical gremlins with the locking mechanisms and what not.He’s worth his weight in gold, knows more about cars than anyone I’ve ever met and I hang love going pick and pulls & autozone for fun meeting car guys.Last week my rear left window slid completely out of the regulator and I didn’t have the pocket change to have that swapped out, so for a $100 he was able to get it screwed in so the window would stay up. And there was horrible tinting on that window I assumed was just a bunch of razor blade scratches, but low and behold he was able to start razoring away the tint so I could have a clean looking window.One last thing I forgot to mention was my 4Runner has a rear window that slides down. When I first bought it, the inside switch would only let it roll it up, not down. I mentioned he, he grinned. 3 minutes later and a few squirts of WD40 the window switch was working by actually working.Tim’s a fair mechanic that sticks to his prices, knows his things and always goes out of his way for his customers. This is a review for just the 3 or so times I’ve been to him and I look forward to many more visits to his shop when something else envitably happens to what I’m driving, but I know he’ll be there to fix it in the best way for me, not just to make a few extra bucks. He has no lack of customers for this very attitude and I wish for the life of me I had found him sooner.

I had such a positive experience with this place that I dont even know where to begin. I have a Ford, and when I took my car to the Ford dealership for a repair, they quoted me over 3000 dollars for the repairs I needed. After reading google reviews, I took my car to Mr Mechanic (and to Tim, the best person ever) who quoted me 760 dollars for the same work AND he fixed my bumper, which was not included in the previous quote. Tim is so kind and really wants to help his customers. He gave me a ride home HIMSELF from the shop to my apartment, and was extremely professional the entire time. He went out of his way to find paint that matched my bumper to paint some of the repairs so that they would look nice, and he DID NOT EVEN CHARGE ME FOR IT. He did it out of the goodness of his heart. Honestly, everyone should go to Tim. The world needs more Tims. Save yourself the trouble you are having with other car repair shops and just come here. Its the best place you could go.

Called to set up a time for an alignment and they got me in that day. As he was aligning my truck, Tim thoroughly explained everything that was going on with my wheels and suspension system without trying to up sell me. I had a check engine light on so he put it on his scanner, diagnosed it and fixed the vacuum leak for FREE. Both he and his son are honest, straight shooters that made me feel at ease. I arrived almost at closing, last minute, Tim drove out to pick up the part that I needed while Trevor disassembled and removed the damaged part so that the new part is ready to be put in upon Tims arrival. I mentioned to Trevor a minor issue I was having with my trunk release button and he read up on some information and immediately provided custom work on the spot. I was in and out in under 2 hours. I received custom work on the spot and had my window relay/ motor fixed at an affordable price. Great service and super friendly!

This guy is awesome, I brought him a half finished project and he was able to dial it in and get my truck up and running. I had wiring issues, and alot of custom work that needed to be performed. Tim, was able to custom make my exhaust setup, and he also did some custom fuel line work. The wiring was the biggest concern and he had that truck wired up and ready to go in the discussed time frame. I would recommend this guy to anyone who needed a good mechanic.Thanks Tim, and Trevor.

I have been going to dealerships for years, and paying the outrageous prices because I wanted my car fixed right. I decided to try Mr. Mechanic and was extremely pleased. Tim was able to fit me in on the same day that I called and we pretty much knew exactly what was going on before I even left the car. The car was completed the same day and has never run so good. Prices are reasonable, and I even received a courtesy call a couple weeks later to check on us. Great service and highly recommended!

Two other shops gave up on my 20-year-old car and voted on just replacing it. Tim, however, diagnosed and fixed it for less than $500 (good to go for about another year before replacement) and in only about 1.5 hours--HARD physical labor!!! It was the first part of the job that others didnt want to touch (one tried but gave up because of difficulty and risk; the other only heard and passed on it), but Tim tackled it swiftly and with the strength of Superman--in only thirty minutes. Id give him 10 stars if I could.

Disgusting customer service, I am warning you, do not bring your car here, they will charge you more than what they’re supposed to. And in addition to that, they are rude and very cocky

I trust the reliability, competence and expert workmanship exhibited by the Mr. Mechanic auto shop, particularly when I drive out and my Hummer performs like a new vehicle.During routine maintenance, Tim performs a top to bottom inspection of the vehicle and fluids. Recently, I noticed oil on my garage floor, but found no evidence of a leak. Tim found the leak in the break power booster. I never noticed the play in the break pedal until Tim replaced the booster that eliminated the play, not to mention guaranteeing stopping power.

Its nice to know that an honest mechanic is still around and lucky for me, I found him. Tim is an amazing mechanic and very reliable. I have a checklist of things that needs fixed on my 2001 caddy and his prices are unbeatable. He has gone out of his way to help everytime. All I can say is thank you for being you.
