There was no pressure to buy. They offered as much time as I needed to look at a gun I was interested in. After purchasing item, I headed to Tombstone to check bulk ammo prices and they had same item for $150 less(pre tax) then I had just bought for (out the door cost). Easily the best gun shop in Phoenix area and one of the best stores for classic western firearms in Arizona. Prices are fair and they’re very open to bartering if you have gear and equipment in good shape to trade in. Staff is also a fantastic lot of people who won’t talk down to you and are happy to fill you in.

Brandon was really friendly and smart, he saw i was interested in the shotguns and ak’s behind him and was nice enough to let me handle them and inform me about them. I’ve never owned or bought a gun before, I’ve been to several gun stores before but they all made me feel like if I was wasting their time since I didn’t know much about the guns. When I first went into this place I was greeted by a older gentleman who kindly answered all my questions, however, I would have liked it if he could’ve shown me an actual gun since that’s why I went into that place, to buy a gun but was shown nothing, I kinda felt like he didn’t have any intentions of showing me or asking me any questions so I felt awkward just standing their looking around. I left and then came back because a gentleman by the name of Brandon was really nice on the phone and said would show me some guns, I came back and was Super impressed by how Brandon’s customer service skills are beyond impressive! If you guys want to buy a gun or are a first time buyer, ask for Brandon! He was super chill, he’s very knowledgeable asks you a lot of questions to make sure you pick out the right firearm for you! He made my whole experience super comfortable, he answered my questions, showed me a lot of inventory and talked to me about them and the difference between each one! This guy deserves a raise! I’ve never been someone where the customer service skills are outstanding! I ended up buying a Colt 1911 .38 super! I’m definitely going to go back and buy more guns in the future! Worked last week with Shawn on buying a revolver of which they had two identical used one to choose from. He was very patient and checked out both guns also and we talked about the items that made one stand out over the other. He also let me look through some used holsters to try some out. I visited this store for the first time today. I was looking for a value on an old Winchester rifle I own. I knew the gun wasn’t perfect but it’s been in my family for 113 years. All the guy said was it’s good for parts and turned and walked away. I had other questions about this gun. I guess he just didn’t care to consider that. I am a longtime gun owner and new to Phoenix. I am looking for a quality gun shop that provides good customer service. I guess I will keep looking.I met with Dave the owner and he made things right. Place was slammed crowded and I had never been there before but amazingly a knowledgeable rep (perhaps owner?) walked right up to me and asked if I needed help. Rare these days, esp in gun shops where theres more often a frat atmosphere and if youre the new guy, the elder lions feast first if you catch my drift.I have limited knowledge about firearms, just the nuts and bolts, safety procedures, awareness, care and I can shoot straight but when it comes to the details like varying calibers and stopping power, sights, accessories Im not that experienced. They didnt make me feel like a dummy because I needed guidance. Thats important to a lot if people. Gub shoos can be intimidating, even to tough guys, and I felt welcome here. Im sure a lot of others feel the way I do but wont say it or just plain wont buy a piece because of the newbie stigma. Check out Legendary if youre one of these guys, and I can empathize with women in this category too. Great place with PLENTY of selection, great knowledgeable service, and I even was given a nice discount on my M&P conceal carry holster and the dude that helped me even threw in a free gift on top of it all. The staff here was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about there fire arms, they gladly answered all my questions with me not knowing much about many of the different companies out there. They also had some good pricings and a good inventory took look at, I ended up buying 3 fire arms from here. They also helped me find good shops when i needed parts for my guns they didnt carry.

Definately best experience last week. Thought they were limiting access inside, I never felt rushed. Daughter of the owner (Sorry forgot name) advised me and help me with true sincerity. These guys are charging $40 per box for 50rnds of 9mm fmj! Talk about price gouging!!! Most other gun stores in the valley charge $20-30 per box of 50rnds. You might as well save your gas an buy it on Gunbroker.com. Well i will continue to buy from Arizona Firearms @ $20 per box +tax, Which is currently in stock as of today! But limit is 1 box per customer, which I understand.

The staff here is very knowledgeable and very eager to help you with what youre looking for. I was looking for a holster for my PT92 and they didnt have the specific one but we found one for it after 20mins of seeing which one would work best for me.The guy there asked me if I had time to keep looking and I let him know yes I sure do if you do and he said its my job to do so so of course Im here as long as you want me to be here. Finally found one and it was perfect.Then I had an issue with my firearm that the gunsmith there took a look at and unfortunately it was a manufacturer defect.All in all though it was a very great experience here and everyone there had great customer service and again were very knowledgeable when answering any questions I had. Would definitely recommend coming here for all of your gun needs.

I went into this place before. They have a little bit of everything that anyone would need. They definitely have all of the proper bases covered. BUT WAIT THERES MORE they have this side room with a tons of antique old western style firearms. You will be stepping into a time machine and emerging on the other side in the Old West. This is a cool place.

I came to purchase a new firearm and was met at the door by a sign that said “no mask no entry” ok thats your choice and right but its also my choice to go somewhere else to spend my money as I know of no other gun store trying to force you to wear a mask. Sad these folks fell for the leftist agenda. I will never shop here again as I am an American who believes in freedom and this store does not.

I have purchased a few firearms here as well as plenty of ammo. If you’re into cowboy guns and older stuff this is definitely the place you want to go in the Phoenix area but they also have a nice modern selection as well with knowledgeable staff in a wide array of weaponry.

We have come here a few times since moving down to the valley and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is all very personable and knowledgeable on every aspect of guns and ammunition. They offer a wide array of guns, including black powder and historical. They also have gunsmithing services, again staffed with very knowledgeable and patient staff. Prices are very fair, especially compared to local competition. Staff is not pressuring to get a sale, rather to ensure your purchase is what you really want. Always have a great time here, we usually work with Shaun who is always getting us to laugh. 5/5 recommend to any history buffs or new gun owners.

Never in my life have I been disrespected and treated so poorly at any store. It took 15 minutes for the guy to get off the phone than when he did get off his phone he didnt even ask if I needed help. I asked him a question and he responded with a rude comment. I thought maybe I misheard him so i asked him again. It only got worse. I will never return to this location. I suggest you dont either.

I needed a new holster for my concealed carry. Not only did they have a great selection, but they also had holsters for us southpaws!I told Shawn what i was lookin for and he showed me the holsters that fit my parameters. I tried a few out found one that was comfortable and asked if they had a mirror so i could see if i was printing. They didnt. So Sean goes above and beyond, pulls out his cell and says turn around. Snapped a photo so i could see that i was infact not printing.This is why legendary is my favorite local gun shop.Oh yeah the price was good too.Thanks Legendary!

Came in for the first time today and I have to say they are very friendly. I was welcomed as soon as I came in. All the employees greeted me as I was looking around and Asked if I needed help without any pressure. Very knowledgeable about their inventory. Surprisedly very good selection on new and old guns. Youre greeted and assisted but not hounded by the staff like Ive experienced in some other Valley Gun shops. Ive purchased a used 308-Hunting rifle (for my first hunting trip) form this store and also used them to facilitate an FFL Transfer on another pistol I purchased. Legendary Guns is one of the best because (1.) they have an incredible inventory (including hard-to-find items), (2.) they know what theyre selling, (3.) they understand their customers, and (4.) their word is their bond. . Ive purchased several weapons from them and theyve always treated me with respect, acted fairly, and offered reasonable pricing. Plus - PLUS! - theyve always provided great after-the-sale service and support. What more can you ask?

I just moved out to Phoenix, AZ about a week ago. First thing I did was lookup the nearest gun store and it led me to Legendary Guns. The moment I walked in I was amazed by the amount of firearms they had, the overall setup of their store and just how friendly and professional the atmosphere and staff were. Ive stopped in almost everyday because of it. The staff know exactly what theyre talking about and if they dont they admit it and ask a fellow member for assistance. Really good use of expertise and teamwork. Even over the phone conversations with them are easy and very informative and helpful. One specific staff member I personally talk to a lot over there is Shaun/Sean. He personally tries to interact with me more than anyone else and makes the experience that much better. You can ask him anything and he will truthfully answer your questions and even joke with you about it. He gets to know you and you get to know him more personally than the others and I respect that. He is your guy. Overall Outstanding, 10/10 for customer service and knowledge of their firearms/products. This is my #1 gun store of choice and I recommend anyone who loves their constitutional rights or firearms to pay a visit.

Probably won’t ever shop here again they increased the price of ammo from the time they handed it to me to the time I got to the register. He handed me two boxes of 5.56 and said $13.99 and then told the cashier $17.99 because we are selling out of it fast.On a box of 9 mm hollowpoint he said $34.99 and she asked about the price of that because she couldn’t remember he said $39.99.I get ammo is in high demand right now but taking advantage of the situation does not bring repeat customers.

, So, I walk into this place to get a flashlight for my AR-15....The guy, with an attitude as though we have a history, and Im responsible for his divorce and is only helping me because its his job, asks if I need help....With my AR in my hand, (no magazine and unloaded)I tell him Im looking for a flashlight that will fit the mount already attached to my gun.....Without asking or even telling me what hes doing, he gently grabs the gun from me as though its made of nitroglycerin and will explode if somebody farts, and clears it.(Understand I appreciate him wanting to clear it, but how he did it was rude)....He points out flashlights that are $90 and up, and says thats all he has.....I say thank you and start looking around, and guess what? I find other flashlights that are much cheaper hanging on the walls in other sections of the store.....I called him out on it, and he says oh yeah those might work.What do you suppose that was about?....I stopped going there because of things like this a long time ago. I gave them another chance, and it looks like they didnt deserve it.....Update. Less than an hour of posting this review I got an apology from the owner.He seems to be under the impression that somebody told me to take a look around. This never happened.I am the one who took the initiative to look around....He seems to think I have a problem with the employee clearing my firearm, I did not. Its the attitude of the employee and the way he did it that bothered me.....And lastly, from what I understand the employee has been there for an excess of 10 years and should no what product is on the shelves especially when the product has five layers of dust on it....This review is not necessarily meant to keep people from going to the store as much as it is for the store to learn from it and do better.....To the owner of the store, employee attitude, customer service, honesty and product knowledge is EVERYTHING in a business....Youre offer to correct the problem and wish me back as a patron is much appreciated.I will take you up on your offer, thank you.

Purchased an AR here, called ahead to make sure they had the exact model I wanted. They had it at a fair price compared to other stores in town. They were helpful and kind with the necessary paperwork and answered any questions that I had. I did go in knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase, so I cannot comment on their recommendations for guns, although they did recommend several accessories that were helpful for the gun I was purchasing. I have no experience with their gun smith or cleaning services, but had a good overall transaction and was received without attitude or annoyance at asking questions (as is notorious at some stores/ranges). I will say they take safety seriously, which I expect from any gun store, so they are very aware of who is in the store and what they are doing - I honestly think this is just good business practice in general but especially when your business is related to weapons.
