The most dangerous rifle ive ever had. The rifle i received was an absolute nightmare. It got sent back for full refund. I can only speak on what they sent me. Dust cover was chewed up with plyer or vice marks which they finished right over.Ejection pattern was right at my feet. Bolt carrier struggled to get over the hammer. 3 or 4 malfunction within the ONLY 17 rounds that were shot. At that point i was done. THEY SENT OUT AN UNSAFE RIFLE IN MY OPINION.Lifetime warranty who wants to send there rifle back the same day you receive it. Sub-par build

I had a squib and got a cast bullet stuck in my Glock barrel. I looked for gunsmith and found these guys. I showed up and they explained theyre an AK shop/gunsmith but I showed him my barrel and he said hed take care of me. 20 seconds later he cleared my squib and told me to have a nice day, no charge. As far as my limited experience with them goes they seem like stand-up folks. If you have an AK might as well check them out! Thanks again!

This is a somewhat lengthy review, but it should help you if you are trying to decide.So there I was, looking for a 74. I had originally thought an arsenal slr 104, but with the spotty import reliability, when I had saved up some money, all was gone. I looked on Lee armorys website, and as I was checking out their models the standard chat box pops up. The awesome thing was that there was actually a person there! Rudy told me about their stock and their very reasonable price level. Since I live about 10 minutes from the location, he let me show up at their location saturday morning to check out their stuff. Talk about customer service!Now, onto the rifle. Ive had it for about a week and Ive already put approx one thousand rounds through her. The finish is gorgeous, rifle was well oiled and did good groups out of the box, not much adjustment needed.The hammer is already polished out of the box, giving you a smoothness not found with its competitors. There will be some deformation on the bolt tail, as can be seen in AKOUs videos where they do their 5k test of the rifle. However, it does stop, and settles into its own quite nicely. It is worth noting that this is a very common issue with a multitude of parts kits and factory builds. Unlike Arsenal, the finish on these rifles doesnt start bubbling off once it gets a little hot, which was something I attempted to recreate through bumpfiring approx 2-300 rounds within a few minutes.At the end of the day, if you want a mil-spec AK that functions flawlessly with fantastic customer service, lifetime warranty and a good deal, Lee armory is the business to go to!

Update: Dont Trust Google. They are not a gun shop. Manufacturing facility only. Google lists this as a shop, and that theyre open for business. My mistake. 5 stars for my stupidity.

Let me be clear. This is Phoenix, AZ which has a rep for being unfriendly anyway. This is a gun related store, most have a reputation for being surly and elitist at best. That is the way I was treated in every single gun store and range from 2010 until today. (Usually I dont leave a review unless it is positive or truly catastrophic.)....EXCEPT FOR Lookout Mountain Outdoors (since closed) AND Lee Armory. My first visit today I got a pleasant greeting at the door. Nice. And a first for me. My good luck continued with them having the rivets I needed at a good price. I even met the owner who was friendly, knowledgeable and worthy of my respect. I have no doubts they will earn yours. Being a gun related business is getting harder and harder so hats off to them.Note: no reviews of all the other places Ive been, glockmeister, shooters world, vault, Ben avery etc. + most of the rest. Just the best and the worst...

I took a Polish UF kit to Lee Armory to be built , they quoted me a great price over the phone and a great turn around date, everyone in the office were absolutely great from drop off to pick up , they offered plenty of knowledge and were nice . today I picked up my rifle, it looks amazing AND was completed way before the quoted date which is always a huge plus!! I highly recommend Lee Armory for any builds , I certainly will be back .thanks again Lee Armory for the great customer service

My first AK-74. Fantastic customer service, very responsive to questions and inquiries. My rifle arrived well boxed, ahead of schedule with some cool accessories. It shoots extremely well, and I couldnt be happier. It almost looks too good to shoot. Looking to have another rifle built by them soon. Highly recommended.Edit: got my second rifle from Lee Armory, a Polish Underfolder and it is absolutely first rate craftsmanship and it shoots like a dream. Fantastic wood finishing as well.

Attended their Ak Build class, very satisfied with the course and the information that was shared. Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future.

Good local AK builder and nice people. Had some gunsmithing done on one of my rifles and they did a good job. Also picked up one of their window cutout Romanian magazines, of which Ive been getting a lot of compliments about at the range. I checked out some of the builds they were working on and the quality seems to be top notch; better than some of the Century produced stuff thats commonly out there. I like to give my business to our local firearms community, stores and manufacturers, and am happy to support these guys.

Bueller, Bueller....Not sure if this place is still open. Phone calls go unanswered, voice messages not returned. No response to emails either...

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They spent a good hour helping me with questions. If you havent seen there battlefield finish, its a stunner... Will be back!

Entire staff at Lee Armory go abo e and beyond to ensure all questions or concerns are addressed in detail. Their FFL transfer process is smooth and effortless, I would highly recommend them.

Poor communication from everyone at this shop, and all around slow responses, or they will flat out will ignore you. I have been trying to get a build set up and prices will change from the beginning of an email to an end when they then try to pass of the work to someone else, aka dropping the ball because they dont want to be upfront and honest about things. I should also mention that I have been trying to get a single build done since June, so I have not been hasty in writing this review. Edit: You cant say no quote if you never gave me an honest quote in the first place and after writing this review do you really think I wanted to continue with your service? This place is a joke.

These guys were great they took their time to answer a bunch of my questions and I got a pistol grip from them today. They have the really good looking stuff, not the stupid.Tacticalled-out covered in plastic AKs. They have very reasonable prices so Im definitely going to come back for all my ak needs

The people here at Lee Armory are pretty great. This place is full of people who know their stuff about AKs. If you need any help with AKs they are the people to talk to.
