I called in to find out what they would pay for my gold coin. They told me that they pay market price for a maple leaf and $50 under market for other forms. I brought in my maple leaf and they offered me $35 under market. So I reminded them of the conversation we just had on the phone and they told me that the market is unstable. I figure Ill take the lower amount just because it might cost as much to continue looking for another crook. When they handed me a bunch of cash, it was for a lower amount than agreed by about $7. This is one operation to stay clear of. Not ethical.
