My favorite bird spa. Great prices great groomer! My 30 year old cocktail has a underbite and takes a experienced avian groomer for my old guy. And my African Grey as well, who is not so friendly.

Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and overall a great experience yet again with my daughter who is a bird fanatic. I drive an hour each way just so my daughter can have the best time.The older gentleman employee was super friendly, answered my many questions, and was very pleasant.If youre looking for a chill but fun couple hours then I recommend this place!

Amazing bird store! So much variety for bird toys, cages, seeds, pellets, and purchase by weight seed/treat mixes.The store is very loud because of the birds that live there and are for sale.You cannot pet the birds or touch the cages at this time because of sanitary requirements post pandemic, but often times in the past you cpuld go in and interact with the birds if you wanted to. Love this place, family owned!!

I recently got a Quaker parrot from them, they have the healthiest most well adjusted babies I have ever seen at any pet store!!! I was sooo impressed by the level of care they give from giving very clear instructions as well as giving me some food for free too wean him on! I highly recommend this place❤️

Best exotic bird store anywhere! They sell, board and rescue exotics. Dawn the owner is so knowledgeable and even my cantankerous African Grey loves to go there for grooming. Ive gone to their stores for 20 years!

Just boarded our Blue and Gold Macaw for a couple weeks to allow us to visit my father on his 97th birthday. Our boy was well taken care of and not stressed out at all. It is a comfort knowing we can board him and not worry about his welfare. Their prices are reasonable too. Thank you to the staff of Tropic Zone!

Was looking for African Gray and this place has plenty of beautiful exotic birds. The gray pictured is named Gipper. I settled for the 4 parakeets instead. Staff was wonderful and the birds beautiful. Stop by and check them our.

I got my birds from Exotic Birds and I have been getting their wings and claws trimmed for about 4 years and every time they are so kind. They also have a great selection of food and treats along with great toys.

The birds, mostly parrots looked well cared for. Although there were a lot of birds, most werent for sale. They had a wide variety of toys for birds.

This is the best place to buy a conure bird. Thats what I bought. It doesnt matter the breed, these people are fantastic! Please take it from me, they are the ONLY people I would consider here in the valley. The staff is great, they offer great information and care a great deal for these feathery fellas. You wont go wrong here.

Friendly faces and understands what i need for my starling bird therefore she is now free with other birds...i had her for 3 months as i assume she wanted to soar free with starling families. However someone opened her cage and she got out. Shes a rare starling bird with thousands hearts on her. Im sending pic of her here too. I name her Willow...i miss her dearly cause shes heck of funny character! So this place was perfect for me to gather what I ned for Willow.

We went to the store as a curiosity and fell in love with how they take care of the store, clients and animals. Not to mention a beautiful Amazon chose me to be her Momma and the adoption process proves they care more than making money. They will have you do visitations for 2 weeks to ensure there is a connection and before they make a decision. Thats a relief that they arent just selling birds to random people who could end up hurting, abandoning and neglecting the innocent lives. It was also a good thing because I bonded with my baby girl more BEFORE taking her home. It was a beautiful thing. This store is first class!!

Very nice place with a wide selection. You can also tell they care for the birds as while I was there, there was a parrot that seriously wouldnt leave one of the employees alone, it was sweet and obviously very attached to said employee.

Saw a bird that I thought was available or for sale come to find out just visiting the pictures is not mean its available go 50 miles to get there just to see the bird and see how much you would be and they said I couldnt see him and hes not available hes not for sale was very bumming

Came in to shop and had the best experience with their services. The staff are well knowledgeable in their birds and know how to treat them all. Parakeets, cockatiels, cockatoos and much more! They have a lovely selection! Prices for their hand raised birds are well priced. I am quite glad I came in and picked this little guy up! Rayne has a new home :D

I got the sweetest female cockatiel here and she was such a beautiful and well behaved bird right from the start. I called because I had found a lost love bird, and was seeing if anyone had called around yet. They were so helpful and willing to give me advice. I found the owner today, but for some reason my husband is still looking up bird cages 😉 looks like we’re going to be stopping by soon!

Greatful to the staff that took time w my Bubba to groom him. He usually stresses at other places. I tried Tropic Zone, so glad I did. They spent a few minutes with him, calming him to get ready for grooming. He did great!! Didnt stress at all and look amazing.

Started off just going to see the pretty parrots becausewe miss our blue and gold macaw. They were so sweet and now my daughter now works there and has her own parrot!

All in all a good place but the employees could be a little nicer on the phone.Side note: the employee I spoke to today was kind and courteous.

The birds here are top notch, the people are not. Im retired military, I understand good order and discipline. I gave this store a second chance after dealing with unfriendly staff here once before. They werent just having a bad day. The unfriendly culture here has been created and maintained intentionally. I will not do any business here, large or small.

This is the BEST bird store!!!They feed, raise and wean baby birds so the bird are more reactive to people than anywhere I have seen.The staff is beyond caring and very passionate about birds.The staff are actual bird owners themselves.This is not any experience like a retail store as birds are allowed to be birds here.They offer boarding and grooming services as well. I am a devoted customer for life.

Tropic Zone is a great pet shop. They sell beautiful healthy birds, do grooming and boarding. This time I brought my cherished Amazon in for her first 12 day boarding experience in her 20 years. Included in their prices is the choice of food I want (top grade and low fat), daily chop, toys and outside cage time on a stand. They also follow up on special instructions. My bird needed a supplement in her food. Everything was ready for her when I came in and it was immaculate. They even had a TV tuned to cartoons. When I picked her up mid day, her cage was very clean and she was out on a stand. It looked like she had made friends and didnt even miss me. I had been worried but she was in great shape, physically and emotionally. Price is good according to the birds size. You do need a Vets okay re: health to board. Highly recommend Tropic Zone.

Weve tried so many places for our birds and when we moved to the north valley we accidentally stumbled upon Tropic Zone. We have been coming to Tropic Zone for about 5 years now. They are great with our forever friends and they uderstand that each birds personality is different. And they remember their customers (birds)😀 highly recommend. Went here after working out at LAFitness to look at finches. I think they were just opening because it looked as if they had just finished thoroughly cleaning. The people that work there were very engaged in their work. I was only there about five minutes but was pretty unnoticed, probably because of their working?

Wife went in and looked around then decided to pick me up and go back after she saw a bird she wanted (blue head pionus) 6 months old wife did research on the bird and found that staff was knowledgeable about the birds and verry helpful when picking out cage,food,and toys for the bird I highly recommend them they even have us food and a coupon for the bird to get beak and nails done ( grooming)

Dawn and her staff are fabulous. My umbrella cockatoo comes home happy and healthy everytime she is boarded. Cozy is 27 years old and I never worry about her when she is on their care. . This is a first for us... Thank you tropic zone.

This is the best bird store I have been to in the valley. The service is always friendly and they have a GREAT selection. I think the prices on some things are a little higher but overall the quality is higher too. The staff is very knowledgable and although it is about a 45 minute drive for me, this is my go-to place for everything for my eight finches.

First thing you will notice is this store is CLEAN and staff are very friendly. I have boarded my cockatiel here multiple times and they treat him like a king. The boarders get time outside their cage on the open perches and also have a TV in their special room to watch cartoons. The lovely folks who run this store understand parrots!
