My husband and I scheduled a time to have Jim inspect the carseats in our two vehicles before our little guy was born. Jim took the time explain all of the safety features and even had a few tips. Ive been coming to this place for years I used to live in the neighborhood I had a Mazda minivan that had a complex Cadillac converter double exhaust issue Very expensive for me as a single mom they are so understanding they allowed me to make payments.. Because of that kindness they showed me 10 years ago I am a customer for life! It does kind of suck that theyre closed both Saturday and Sundays because today (Saterday) I wanted a quote for front end alignment and office is closed.

Hi-Tech is hi quality. I own a 2008 BMW 335I. Out of nowhere my car started acting really funny and not performing or driving the way she should. I called Justin over at Hi-Tech and told him what was going on. He had my car in the shop the same day. The problems I was having was pretty extensive but he took care of all the issues in a reasonable amount of time at a decent price. When I got there I come to find out they are topshop last 6 years in a row or longer. I was very happy with their work and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs anything done involving their car. Thanks again Justin for taking care of me.

Worked with Gary and his team at Hi-Tech Care Care. Office was very clean and sanitized. They were able to get me in quickly, diagnosed quickly and repaired. I had a sensor light that has been on for awhile, which resulted in a shifter error being diagnosed (faulty sensor). Garys team was able to get it fixed for a price that was much cheaper than the dealership. Will bring my Jeep Cherokee back for servicing no doubt, great value and professional!

The mechanic that work on my truck, Robert Griego was a absolute Professional and actually listened and cared about my situation, I mentioned to him that other places said that my truck needed a new engine and it was going to cost me a arm and a leg!! After he checked it he was “HONEST WITH ME” I say that inall caps because NOT MANY CAR SHOPS ARE!! he could’ve just told me I did Need a motor and send me on my way, but no!! He actually tried to help in my situation, I mentioned to him my family had no working vehicles, My wife’s and my truck were both not working and with kids and a 4 month old baby anyone that’s a parent knows how important a car is, well ROBERT GRIEGO went above and beyond to say the least!! By far the best shop in the valley. My husband and I have brought every vehicle we’ve owned in at some point or another since we found them about 4 years ago. I went to Hi-Tech Care Care engine light showing for codes (P0700 & P0740). They did a diagnostic ($149.95) and told me the Electronic Engine Control ($1,342.75) needed to be replaced. After doing that they said there was still one code showing and I needed to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor ($290.04). I did some other things they recommended not having anything to do with the codes which brought the total to $2,021.16. I picked it up and was happy for not even 24 hours! The engine light came back on so I took it back and they said the same codes (P0700 and P0740) were showing, but it must be more of a mechanical problem not an electrical one and it would cost more to figure it out! Really? Really disgusted!

I was absolutely fighting an ignition problem for about a month. I tried to trace the electrical system myself, but never found the problem. I took my Jeep Cherokee here and they are able to diagnose my issue and fix the Jeep in the same day. All the people in the front office were excellent and very knowledgeable. I dont take my cars to the mechanic very often, but I was very impressed with the business they run.

Hi-Tech Car Car is all about Honesty and High Quality Work!I took my car to the dealer for a recall that only the dealer could handle. The dealer gave me an $1800+++ recommendation list.I picked it up straight from the dealer to Hi-Tech. They took a look at everything and verified that only $800 of it was necessary and at least $750 of the dealer recommendation was fine and in no need of repair.The next day I got my car running perfectly!Go here for good people doing good work!

I set up an appointment and took my car in early for an engine issue. I left it with them the entire day and they called late afternoon and said they didnt have time to run the required diagnostics and I should bring it back another day when I had time to leave it for a while. Despite a verbose 5-paragraph message from Jim ahead of time about how serious they take Covid-19 safety, not a single person in the office even pretended to wear a face mask. Took my business down the street and had it diagnosed and repaired in 1/2 a day.

I have a Smart car which is not easy to repair. Justin and his staff have gotten Smarty Pants back on the road and running great. If you have had bad luck at other repair shops, you have to check them out. A+++++++

Got window motors replaced and brakes done. Had to go back once because the windows wouldnt stay up, and one didnt seem fixed (maybe something with those super fun BMW computers). Brakes seem alright. May or may not use them again.

Nobody was wearing a mask the time I was there. I felt super uncomfortable. I recommend somewhere else and businesses like this has to be shut down because people are dying and these are the type of people spreading the disease who don’t even believe that Covid exists.

I needed a mirror for my 13 Silverado, Justin was honest, knew what was wrong, ordered the part but it was wrong. Texted me when the new one came in. Took the truck in, got it fixed and the mirror . Gave my mom a veterans discount and that was appreciated. Good service.

I’ve taken my car here a few times. If you want a shop you can trust and is high quality, this place is great. They’re off weekends and aren’t the cheapest but you do get what you pay for and they’re just really good. They’ve always done excellent by me and I don’t mind waiting an extra day and paying an extra dollar to not have to worry if I’m getting taken for a ride. The reason I trust them is because they quoted me one amount, then found it was going to be cheaper than they quoted me. I seriously think that this is the 1st time this has happened in my life. So from what it’s worth from a random dude on the internet, I trust these guys and drive all the way across the valley to take my car here.

Hi tech is top notch. Originally took my cx5 in a few weeks ago for ongoing issues. Thought they fixed it, but the issue flared up again. I took it back. They kept it for days, and when couldnt fix it, they took it the the dealer to get fixed. Then the owner of hi tech drove it home that night and back the next morning to ensure the issue didnt flare up again. It didn’t. They never charged me any more than I originally paid. Justin stood by their work and took care of me. We’ve now had the car back about two weeks and the issue hasn’t flared up once. It’s a blessing to learn to trust the car again, especially heading into summer time. Thanks Justin and hi tech!

Honestly, I really dont use shops for my car repairs, Im one of those back yard mechanics.I have ran into problems from time to time, and needed expert repair. I have used Hi-tech for repairs on two of my vehicles, and every time I left with the same result. The problem was fixed and I left satisfied without paying an extremely large bill.I generally dont trust auto repair shops, but I trust them. They never once did work I didnt need, and when they encountered other issues, they called me to let me know. I have been using Hi-Tech for about 3 years. My car with 230,000 miles on it continues to run smoothly. This weekend, my brakes went out. I called on Sunday, and to my surprise, THE PHONE WAS ANSWERED. I asked about bringing the vehicle in on Monday and whether they had a loaner for me to borrow. Not only were they able to provide the loaner, they fixed the brakes, repaired another part that was wearing and still under warranty. It speaks to their integrity that they did the warranty replacement while it was under warranty rather than wait for it to fail and charge for the repair. Honest, Great Work Ethic, Integrity driven. This is the place to take your care to either be repaired or maintained for the long haul.

I have a 2010 Prius that I was told by another shop it was the transmission I could not afford this at this time so I went too Hi-Tech Auto.Care and found out that it was some sensors which cost $35. dollars not the $,5,000 quoted at the other shop. Hi-Tech came in at a total of $250. for the repairs for my car. Thank you Hi-Tech for the great work, price and honesty. I will go here for any of my car problems, and I recommend this shop to anyone in Arizona.

We brought our car into Hi-tech car care based on the previous positive reviews here on yelp. I am extremely disappointed in the value we experienced today. Labor for the lube oil and filter was $24.95. The parts were $13.59. That looks good, right? They called and asked about changing the air filter, the cabin air filter, and the wiper blades, to which, Janet replied to replace the air filters and thats it. Now, I agree, the cabin air filter was a bad idea, but the thought of the previously viewed reviews, I didnt think it would be too bad. The air filter in the engine compartment was $23.10, and they did not charge for labor. Was that generous? Answer that after I explain the cost of the cabin air filter replacement. The part, $25.58: the cost of labor $39.59. I expressed my concern after viewing the bill. This part is paper folded accordion style and isnt even framed by plastic. Ill eat that cost. We agreed to it. But the labor? The owner, who identified himself as the owner, said cars that are 6 years or older the plastic can be extremely brittle and that the cost was also covering his liability, because if they break a piece, I would expect them to replace it...right? He added that the cost would have been disclosed had we asked while on the phone with him.Being in law enforcement, I know a few things about the removal of cabin air filters, as they are usually a good spot for concealing contraband. I walked out to the car, opened the glove box, moved two very pliable clips and slipped the paper filter out, in less than one minute. I put it back together and returned to the shop, where Justin explained and showed me on the computer the standard charges for labor dealing with this part.This establishment had several senior citizens come and go while we waited to pay the outrageous final cost of an oil change. If your mother, grandmother, wife or daughter go to this establishment for vehicle service MAKE SURE THEY GET A QUOTE OR THEY WILL BE RIPPED OFF. as we were first time customers, I guess we shouldnt assume they want repeat business.This was so shady, we will not return.

Hi-Tech Care Care is by far the best car service and repair shop Ive found in Phoenix. A friend referred me to this place after I complained about the dealership being way too expensive. Ive had the pleasure of working with James for the past few years and you wont find anyone more knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and honest in this business. In my experience of owning six German sedans during the past two decades, once you find someone that will perform excellent work at a fair price without trying to sell you a bunch of stuff you dont need, that person is worth their weight in gold. I appreciate the fact that James always goes out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer and that alone is priceless in my book.

This is an update to my previous review along with a revision of my previous perspective. On 4/23 after checking into a number of repair shops, and their customer reviews I entrusted my car to their care to replace the rotors and brake pads on both axles, along with the front CV axle assembly on both sides. The following day I took the car back due to excessive noise from the suspension which hadnt been prevalent before. I was told to drive the car for few days to see if the noise quieted down. That Friday on my way to work the car stopped and would not move. I had it towed to Sun Devil who discovered that the newly replaced CV axle assembly on the passenger side was hanging on the ground. I gave Hi Tech the option to either let Sun Devil do the repair and reimburse me, or to come get the car and make it right. They chose the latter. Sun Devil had told me that when the axle popped out it also damaged the housing, and that the teeth were badly damaged. Yet Hi Tech says they able to file the teeth to workable condition without any part replacement, and blame the cause of the incident on bad engine mounts. Less than a week later the suspension noise is back. This time I will have a different shop address the issue as I no longer trust, or have any confidence in Hi Tech Auto Repair.

Jim and his whole team are fantastic. On very short notice, Cody got me in and got my car fixed very quickly. I was pressed for time so the mechanic even worked through his lunch hour to get me out of there as fast as possible. But the best thing about Hi-Tech is that you can trust them - they give you honest advice, do honest work, and dont try to scare you into bigger repairs than are necessary.

I took my 2009 Chevy Malibu Hybrid over to see Jim and his team at Hi-Tech Car Care for the first time and they were awesome! My oil and tire service was done on time as promised. The waiting and service areas were clean and orderly which says a lot about how they care for the vehicles they service. Even though I live more than 25 minutes away from their shop, its worth the drive to take my car there. I highly recommend Hi-Tech Car Care to anyone looking to get their automobile serviced.

EDIT: The initial transmission that was installed had some issues. We do not live in the same state as where the work was done, so there was some back and forth. Ultimately they made things right.

This shop gave us honest service with good communication and respectful pricing. Id take a car there for service in the future or send people I like to them.

Always thorough, great comminications and stand behind their work. An AC diverter that is cheap Chinese plastic was previously repaced seven months ago started acting up again. High Tech identified the problem, removed the part and made it right. I have no idea if this was the same one previously replaced or one several other diverters. They let me know it was covered and mo charge. Honest, very clean and wanting to make it right.

They checked out my Audi A5 because it was leaking power steering fluid. Said it needed a new power steering rack and power steering pump. Estimate $2400.00. Went to another shop for a second opinion. Just needed a new hose...$200. They obviously don’t know what they are doing. Wouldn’t bring my lawn mower there.

The very first time I just showed up with a battery issue, Jim stopped what he was doing and came out to try and help me. Been hooked ever since :D The entire staffs friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I cant recommend them enough. Be sure to look for the sign right along Thomas Road, as they are located behind a car wash and not directly ON the side of the street.

Take your car or truck here! I found them on accident but it was truly a lucky accident. I drive a Chevy suburban and got the run around from Gunnell’s Tire and Auto in Mesa. Hi-Tech contacted said shop and found out what they did and did not do then they told me how said shop gave me the run around. These guys warrantied the other shops work and gave me a shop car to drive around in the mean time. Not only were these guys, Mike and Justin, very friendly and upfront and honest, they turned one shops hustle into a warranty job. They cleaned up someone else’s mess and made me a customer for life! Gave my wife a $1100 quote to change the radiator hoses and flush power steering fluid and clean fuel injectors, they wanted 75 bucks for radiator fluid!, and all at 120 an hour! Had the car checked out and another shop and it did not need any of those things, they showed me the upper and lower hoses and the there was nothing at all wrong, no swelling, no dry rot, nothing... you can walk into this place with a perfect car and leave with an 1100 bill. I called and he did not want to talk, they should be ashamed, there in nothing honest or christian about this place! RUN.

I have been having issues with my car since I had a different shop work on it. I have brought it to several repair shops, suspencion shops, and tire shops to see what the vibrations were. I went to Hi Tech and I asked for a general look over and inspection to see what they thought. 2006 Jeep Liberty would not start when it had been maintained and always dependable. After researching local shops I decided on Hi-tech and I couldnt be happier. Not only did they properly diagnosis my vehicle, they were very quick, and they were willing to go the extra mile to make it affordable for me. I was also very impressed with AAA top shop awards for the past 12 years. I also originally found them through AARP. They will be my new machanics from now on.

Amazing mechanics and very honest. I have been through a lot of mechanics and I find that skill and honesty are the two most important factors in choosing the shop to do the work. They do everything on my cars, the work is always top notch and gruaranteed, and I am alway clear on the charges.These are the good folks.

Jim was very helpful. Service was done almost on time, but acceptable and done well. Billing was poor and when I asked to understand the billing Cody was rude and hung up on me. They hid charges without explaining them.

Watch out for this repair shop...My mom is 85 and still insists on working in the family business. I moved to phoenix to help her out. Since I returned, this is an example of what companies like this will do.She has a business truck, a 2002 toyota Tacoma with almost 300,000 miles on it. Hard use, exterior and interior in POOR shape. KBB private sales value of $3,500, trade value about half that. Well, I stopped in to check on it and found they were doing an estimated $4,600 in repairs. That much would make a nice down payment on a new truck, plus some money in trade. Granted, a poor choice was made and the last thing I would do is say anything to my mom and and upset her.Anyone considering doing business with this company should know what happened and make their own judgements. Watch them closely and make wise decisions.I wont go near the place again.Update:The truck was in an accident the other day. The insurance company considered it totaled and valued it at $3,900. Your kbb good condition value was high. As I said, it was in poor shape, a beater, plain as day. As for the $4,600 or so of needed repairs hi-tech talked my mother into? Thats a total loss too. Unethical upselling tactics. So proud of yourself, arent you Jim?If I had intervened in time, I could have bought a late model slightly used truck with better reliability and safety features for under 20k. Theres a good chance insurance would have paid almost as much as was spent. By the way, Id have bought from a private party...no sales tax!!!There are some good reasons to replace a vehicle. Being that the totalled vehicle was a primary delivery truck, things are not good right now. Thanks again, Jim.Bottom line; dont take their word for it, get a second opinion!

Do not trust these guys, although they were recommended and had a high rating, They do not care about you only money and do not follow even simple requests.I asked them to call first before making repairs to make sure they fix the right problem, They did not call and the proper repairs were not made. They say they fixed other things.They also gave off a racist vibe, although I do not pull that card ever, they REALLY seemed and talked to me with a stare of a racist. I forgot to clarify the racist part was when picking up the van I had 2 friends who drove me over who were hispanic and they stared heavily until I explained they were with me, which was very rude....My complaint is mostly over the crappy non work they claimed they did and charged.The lady in front was very nice, the guys are scheisters and thieves!

Friendly staff, knowledgeable attendant, make service here quick and thorough. Came in 15 minutes before closing and they stayed to help me.

Little sisters 2005 Cobalt had electrical issues, causing a rats nest of bizarre problems. Justin and crew spent a ton of time figuring out the problem after the initial diagnoses didnt pan out. In the end, he fixed the issue, and charged me next to nothing. Absolutely incredible service!

I do not work near them anymore but i really wish I did. Nice, honest mechanic shop. I recommend to anyone that wants the truth about their cars problems.

My daughter and I took our cars in for a Living Social oil change deal we purchased. The team at High Tech were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. Ill go back!
