Super good the first time ...the Alfredo was different the second time around both my wife and daughter was mad at me like I made it ...but the rest of the food was good

The staff was nice. The cook or the young lady at the front didnt have a mask on other than that the food was just okay. I ordered 2 bowls a chicken with shrimp and a jerk chicken bowl.. They didnt have brown rice or broccoli. I understand places run out of certain things but I would try it again.

Love their food they could be a little more professional while having customers in the store. Last time I was there thought a whole fight was about to break out between the cooks.

Great Salmon turkey BLT, I devoured the whole thing! Bread was nicely toasted, salmon was perfectly seasoned & nicley cooked the thing was picture perfect I was too eager to eat it so a picture of the work of art was never captured. I just wanted to know how they cook it so perfect😄. definitely ordering from there again.I do suggest placing a call or ordering online because they will be busy, which means its GOOD.

Seafood cheese steak is all that a lot smaller than what I thought it was going to be but it still was good, not over whelming!

Food is always amazing however their customer service could be a lot better. I normally order through door dash and I always enjoy their seafood cheesesteak and rice bowls. Their homemade lemonade is really good too. I physically went to the restaurant last weekend and Was pretty disappointed with the way the young lady handled our transaction. The staff definitely looked annoyed.

The food here is amazing. I have now tried several items (Shrimp Quesadilla, Salmon Steak, Seafood Steak, Fries, Homemade Lemonade, etc.) and have been pleased with them all.Pros : Pseudo-healthy option for take-out. The in-house spicy mayo they use for their seafood steaks is beyond delicious. A few rips in the counter chairs but, otherwise, a clean establishment.Cons : Neighborhood is sketchy. Definitely not a place you eat in (it’s super quiet and it’s mostly just the cook and counter-girl inside).I first tried them on Uber Eats, but chose to forfeit the expensive service fees and travel the 15 minutes it takes for me to get there.

Only my first time ordering. Heard great things about the food here so I’ll definitely have to try some other menu items. I ordered the salmon blt. It was a average sandwich. Nothing special. I will say all ingredients were fresh. It had a big piece of salmon, lettuce, Tomato, Turkey bacon, and i think might have been potato bread. It was good just not amazingly good. It didn’t have much flavor except for the spicy Mayo and ingredients in general. But will certainly be trying other items soon.

Customer service is so important - please work on that. The food is always delicious so I don’t want to see you all suffer from not knowing how to speak to your customers.

From the outside it doesnt look like a place youd want to visit. However they made my vegie fried rice to my liking the fruit punch was like my childhood and the oreo parfait was perfect. Timing was wonderful

I come here all the time....but their customer service has gone WAY down hill. On Wednesday 8/11, I ordered and the two male cooks had no clue what they were doing. They promised a 25 min wait and that turned into 45 minutes. I am so tired of these black establishments not providing too customer service. Absolutely ridiculous!

This is an amazing gem! A small cafe with wonderful food. The salmon cheese steak is to die for. The bread was fresh and soft. The spicy mayo and the perfect touch. I didnt have to add any condiments to this master piece.My daughter had a turkey burger with turkey bacon. Her bun was fresh and it looked delish. It almost made me want to eat meat again lol.The staff members are friendly and welcoming.

I come to this place alot. However, today my sandwich wasn’t prepared correctly. I asked the young lady at the counter if it had mayonnaise and she told me it did. When I arrived at home I opened the sandwich and discovered that mayo wasn’t placed on it. The young lady ( who was very nice ) check it in front of me and told me it had mayo. I called the store and they told me to bring the sandwich back, however I don’t live very close. Why wasn’t I accommodated for my inconvenience? I was told “ we just can’t give you a free sandwich.” Well my time isn’t free either. Our black businesses have to do better!

I had ordered 2 salmon cheese steaks today. The woman took my order and I specifically told her what I want and dont want. Get there she didnt greet me properly. She was so busy arguing with the cook about beef and turkey burger difference. How does the cook dont know what is what? I get home to eat there was so much onions and peppers than salmon and 3 pieces of spinach. Luckily im not allergic to them onions and peppers that would have been another situation. The cooks didnt have on gloves nor a face mask. The cashier didnt have on a face mask either. My food containers had grease and ketchup on it. That was the worst 24 dollars I spent impissed. This is at 1400 stenton Ave. They professional workers and cooks.

I was traveling through Philadelphia last week and stopped here. Ordered a hungry man and it was beyond good. Staff was quick and efficient. 2 of the staff members stood out the most. The young lady in the front and the young man who made my food. They were both patient with me and made a good suggestion for a first timer. Would definitely recommend!

If I could give a place less than one star I would. I want to support small black businesses but you have to step up. I ordered a salmon and rice bowl. I waited over a half hour bc we had to wait for somebody to finish their L break. Then they supposedly lost my order. Mind you it wasnt crowded. When I finally received my food,first thing I noticed was no aroma. Long story boring..the rice was hard,the salmon was rubbery and tasteless, the veggies..eh..who wants to spend $11 on frozen veggies!We must do better as a people!!

The food is great from early morning breakfast to late night! Please look out for crab fries, and seafood cheesesteak they are sensational. I love the breakfast too salmon, home fries, & chicken & waffles!! Please do note at times they are not wearing mark nor gloves.

The Seafood cheesesteak was brilliant!

I had the grilled chicken sandwich it was good the fries were soggy the grease needed to be changed. Now customer service was horrible. There was a line and the phone was ringing, I understand that you should answer the phone, but the young girl held a conversations with an irate customer. Instead of telling them to hold because there were customers picking up there food I waited at least five minutes listening to this conversation.

This place will not disappoint. I had the seafood steak, and it was delicious. I would suggest that you order your food as there is a long wait If you walk in and order. The long wait is WELLLLLL WORTH IT!!!! Kudos to the cooks and the staff.

Quality Taste of food not your regular stuff

Food is good when they remember to add everything that you purchase this is the third time I didnt get something I paid extra for. I think I will have to give it a break for awhile.

Didn’t enjoy the seafood cheesesteak. It was dry and didn’t enjoy the imitation lobster. The order of sweet potato fries was small. The jerk wings were good. Just average overall.

Purchased breakfast, shrimp and grits. Worst meal ever. Grits hard and lumpy, cheese was not melted, bottom line, nothing close to what shrimp and grits was supposed to look and taste like. If they havent gotten better cooks, dont waste your money.

Food is a hit or miss. The fish tastes like old cardboard that was rained on and then air dried & deep fried. They didn’t put peppers or onions on my food because the door dash option wasn’t available so they were being petty over 60 cents. Anyways, the pancakes are bland. The salmon cheesesteak has about a tablespoon of crushed salmon in it. The teriyaki sauce is inedible. It tastes like salt & soy sauce. Just save your money and time.

The menu is up with the times I like the fact that they are rice like the fact that their Seafood I like the fact that they had all kinds of stuff better than going to a fast food joint so I challenged them to do a veggie quesadilla for $8.99 shockingly they were great so I have no choice but to go back and try and see if they can make something else just as good thank you

Don’t get me wrong their food is good but their service needs work. I ordered my food online at12 and it said it will be ready at 1:05 but instead when I got to the store I was told my food was being made and reassured my food was being made twice after that. I didn’t receive my food until 2:38 the staff was arguing with the cook and once I received my platters it wasn’t with the proper condiments. They have good food but if you don’t want a extra long wait and maybe a messed up order you might want to try somewhere else.

Was refused service for already paid for goods.Lady behind the counter was rude and combative. She and the other staff had complete disregard for health and safety guidelines in place due to the pandemic.

I’m sad this place didn’t live up to my expectations. On top of things missing from our door dash order the cashier was very rude when we called to rectify. She hung up on my wife 3 times for no reason at all. We stay patient with things like this in the event someone isn’t mature enough to put their jobs first. I myself work in catering. So I know the industry can be very demanding. However, someone who doesn’t take what they do seriously must not even want a job to begin with.The mango habanero wings were great, but the chicken cheesesteak was dry, and my wrap was sloppy. Also there are things on door dash that aren’t on the menu, so fixing that could help.

Worst customer service experience I have seen in a long time. I had to call in a order at 7 pm and I didnt get my food because it was 9 pm!!! Another customer came in and had a problem with her order and asked to have it made right. 1 worker was ok with the request and another worker came out of no where yelling oh she gotta wait we trying to get these orders done. Just terrible experience and I just left without my order! NEVER AGAIN!

Breakfast Order Was Not Right At All!🥴 How do u forget the meat and onions and peppers in home fries when its right on the receipt....🤷‍♀️ No utensils, or even syrup....When called to inform them the girl on the phone was very unprofessional. When I went back to pick up fixed order that girl was professional. Check Your food before u leave!!!!

It was our first time dining there and wondered why you had to pay first. Usually, you eat then pay. I prefer to pay at the end of the meal, so you can tip the server with a card. I do not tip first, because I like to observe the service first. However, if the food was good and the service was good and I want to add a tip, it becomes troublesome as we do not carry cash. Anyway, the food was excellent, fresh, but timely, yet worth the wait. We will eat there again.

The seafood cheese steak is the bomb.com but it was cold by the time I got home and I dont live that far away from the shop.

They need to work on customer service and better communication because someone paying their well earned hard money to support dont need to be talked to inappropriately its just pure ignorant!

When they 1st opened they were good. Overtime it has went downhill. They have been unable maintain a delivery driver or an order taker(with decent customer service skills) I definitely won’t be going back there again!

One of my favorite spots. They used to do a seafood Omelette (Salmon, Shrimp and Crab) for breakfast but dont do breakfast anymore. Even if they dont do breakfast please bring the Omelette back 🙏🏾 They also do a seafood cheesesteak with Salmon, Shrimp and Crab, I get Broccoli, peppers, onions, spinach and extra spicy Mayo on a wheat roll with extra Cheese. This is the absolute best non beef cheesesteak I have ever had in my life. The menu is pretty good and the Teriyaki bowls are good (wife sometimes gets them) but Ive only had the same 2 items.

Excellent Food and Service

Ordered food over the phone. Went to pick it up and none of the cooks were wearing mask. The only person wearing a mask was the cashier and she had it on halfway. Please wear your mask!

Always running out of food. I’ve called on 3 different occasions & they didn’t have turkey burgers. Wait time can be up to an hour because they only have 1 cook. Get it together please.

Poor customer service, very rude.

The food is good. They did accommodate me and made a salmon wrap, which is not on the menu. However, the wait was long and they gave me sweet potatoe fries because they were out of regular fries. I was informed after waiting 30 minutes. If it wasnt for the ridiculous wait time, my fries, oh and my wrap was wheat instead of white (not what I asked for) it would have been 5 stars.

I placed an order through Postmates. It took about an hour in total for it to arrive to my door, but it was worth it. The jerk chicken cheesesteak is VERY spicy & delicious. The lemon pepper wings are slightly too salty for my taste, but they were cooked thoroughly and were fresh. The fries were good. I’ll definitely be eating here more often. Their menu selection alone makes me want to try everything.

I ordered from here a couple of times and Im very pleased with the food. I usually have my food delivered by a very unhappy delivery driver. I dont know, but if the food wasnt so good I wouldnt order. I went in the store yesterday and it was clean, service was speedy, and they were nice inside. 4 outta 5 stars because there are no half stars.

There is always a problem when my wife and I eat here. Today was the last straw and I refuse to support a business like this again. Today my wife ordered the food 30 mins before we even went to pick it up. We know from past experiences with this place they are slow when it comes to preparing food. My wife went in only to find that the cook never made the food and the girl in the front was clueless to the kitchens actions. I mean if you are backed up the person at the front should at least know so she can lie, but because this is a open kitchen the guest hear it all. She than had to wait an additional 20 mins for the food to be ready. There was no apology or care from the staff. We try to support black businesses As much as possible but y’all need to do better.
