By far the best butcher shop in Peoria. They have it all and its all fresh and ready. The marinated chicken breasts, beef, pork are fresh. So many choices. They are all worth the visit. Get the Munich brat

Okay so are toothpicks supposed to be in a fillet Mignon?I got a fillet Mignon on my visit over here and brought it home, and I thought I got a big piece, but when I started to season it, something stuck me and I pulled at it, and found a toothpick and 2 pieces of meat. If thats normal, fine whatever, but really? No warning?

One of my happy places. Everything you could want in standard butcher shop fare, plus some premarinated and ready to cook items like stuffed chicken breasts, fish fillets and many other things. Nice little market section for sauces and seasonings.

Locally grown products including beef and pork. Wide selection of marinated chicken, steak, chops ect. Dry rubs and sauces are available. Frozen products include coney sauce, tenderloins, pretzels, barbecue and more. Sausage made and smoked in-house in several flavors for snacks. Ask for special cuts and freezer bundles are available. A deli section is well stocked with lunch meat and cheese slice to order with salads as well. Great flavors combined with excellent quality. Best meat on Peoria!

Amazing staff, picked up some sandwiches for lunch for the little lady and I. And they were amazing. The selection will blow you away. Have questions they are more than willing to help you. And when you get to the counter. Grab yourself one of their snack sticks. If you can, get the spicy. They are bloody stunning. Seriously if you have never been you are missing out big time.

Great meat, hormone & antibiotic free. Youll notice when you cook the meat it keeps its size and doesnt shrivel up like most grocery store meat. The customer service is phenomenal.

Lots of friendly staff wanting to help me. The bin was empty on the item I wanted and the staff member went in the back and grabbed some for me. I was thrilled! I really appreciated the availability of items for purchase and the number of the staff wanting to help. If you want the lowest quality or pricing, this is not the store for you. The quality shows in the taste of the items they sell and is worth the dollar paid.

A favorite for us whenever we are back in town. Gotta stop in when in Peoria visiting family and restock before we go home to Aurora. Everything is great, but meat sticks and marinated chicken breasts are usually in our basket.

WOW, WOW. If your looking for THE freshest meat around go there. I got a meat bundle that was very well priced, everything was FRESH, packaged nicely, and omg does it taste great. They even help you out to your vehicle, and you can use snap benefits if you have them. Friendly staff, very clean store, and various other local flares to look at and purchase. I wont be shopping anywhere but here for my meats from now on. Great job

This is the only place I will buy fresh meat in Peoria. The quality is excellent. The applewood bacon and center cut pork chops are a staple in my household. They also have an excellent variety of meats and seafood; bison, duck, lamb, red snapper, and scallops just to name a few off the beaten path options. The butchers are very attentive and are happy to take care of any request. I highly recommend!

I stopped in for lunch and got a sandwich and soup. Everything was wonderful and would highly recommend the soup of the day. Today it was Chile and it was fabulous!

Has excellent assortment of meat for its size. Some hard to find items like bunny, goat, and unusual hard to find cuts. Have to agree with another reviewer that Peoria is a desert in terms of good restaurants.

Mrs Barth has very poor manners, and treats customers as if they are somehow below her. Unacceptable behavior for a business owener.

I shop here frequently,I love the atmosphere and the staff is always very helpful and pleasant. The quality of the products that I buy are five star and the selection is equally as great. I love the marinated items and the specialty burger patties. You may have to pre-order the marinated cobobs but they are delicious on the grill.

Ive been here once and will try them out once more and review again when that time comes. The prices arent bad at all. The quality of They received 3 stars due to a couple of issues. When I first went there I ordered one of their package deals. The butcher that helped me was very unfriendly and didnt bother to ask any questions like how I want my items packaged. There was a wait time which I never experienced with my other butcher but this is probably due to volume and it wasnt a bother to me. So far all the meat quality has been good with the exception of the chicken I just opened today. The butcher didnt bother to remove remaining feathers nor were all of the innards removed from the thighs and I had to twist off the piece of tail that was left attached. I will point out that a different butcher actually retrieved my order from the back when I picked it up and was nothing but friendly as was the cashier. I gave the 3 stars because of customer service and the quality of the chicken but like I said I will be going back at least once more.
