If one doesn’t actually repair their vehicle at this business, a review for an “estimate” is not considered an actual business. One does have freedom to compare prices and shop around. Purposely, making this business stars go down is a violation. Calling the employees/ business a rip off or con artist are serious allegations! The business DOES NOT steal anyone’s money! (I’ve personally never had any issues with them!)Also, customers who are complaining on here are not being fully truthful. If Amigos Auto repair is so horrible why do I still your faces there when I get my oil changed. I suggest for new customers: please give them a try for yourself. They’re a family own business who have been in central Illinois for 15 years. If the service was in reality horrible then they would have been out of business years ago!

WORST EXPRIENCE EVER ! My steering wheel was so hard to turn so I thought Ill drop my car off to get checked out ....They charge a 55$ that nobody told me about when I dropped my car off I asked the man where was the sign he walked me to the sign which wasnt their it fell down was behind a chair when he showed me explained it must have just fell down but if it had just fallen it wouldve been on the floor an not behind a chair against the wall but enough of that I dropped my car off they told me theyll call with estimate an problem they never Called my car was their for TWO WHOLE DAYS SO I FINALLY FOUND THEIR NUMBER AND CALLED about my car some lady hung up on me I called back she rudely put me on hold an some guy got on the phone talking fast about what I needed I asked the price it was extremely high so I picked my car up when I picked my car up their was grease on my keys an steering wheel long story short they told me I needed a rack and pinion I got in my car their was nothing wrong with my steering wheel Im guessing I ONLY needed power steering fluid Ive been driving since they put the fluid in BE CAREFUL THEY WHEEL TRY TO GET OVER ON YOU !

2007 Ford Focus Sedan Motor mounts needed replaced. Got a quote of $525. I had already watched Youtube on this and its about a hour job, and even mentioned this to the person at Amigos. Well, I ended up hanging up my phone when he tried to justify why his price was fair. I called a couple other shops that said Amigos is insane, and gave me quotes from $350 to $450. I ended up ordering all 3 mounts for $40 with a 3 year warranty, snd had a mobile mechanic install all 3 in my driveway for $50!!! It took him 55 minutes to do this with floor jack and a few sockets!!! I saved myself $425.00!!!!!!!!!!!

Theyve worked on a couple of my vehicles and so far have been fair and reasonable. I do most of my own work on my vehicles but every now and then I rather have someone else do it whether its because of the weather, or I dont have time myself, or just something I dont like or want to do. Theyre my first call. The owner is always friendly and honest with me and his mechanics are friendly and helpful too.

My car broke down while driving through Peoria . Likely the nearest auto repair was Amigos Auto Repair. They quickly fixed it and I was back on the road in no time and at very reasonable price Thank you!

I paid 265 to get my car fixed and the problem wasn’t solved at all,they wouldn’t even take the time out and actually inspect my car and make sure it was that after I asked them.the fat guy in the back didn’t even know English and he was rushing me.. and they stole my parts. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A SOUL TO SPEND THEIR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.. go to CAMPOS right down the street they will get you right and cheaper !!!!!!

They tried to chargw me a thousand domlars to fix my heat but Wades auto only charged my thirty dollars to fix my heat. These amigos/amigas are scammers and rip off artists.

I wouldnt let these guys touch anything. The shop is a mess. Who knows how they know what parts go to what car in there. Looks more like a chop shop if you ask me.

They very slow they had my truck almost an month and still not done with it every week they have an excuse about why its not done Ive pay 2000 in cash and still the run around with them

They are expensive slow it took them three days too change my oil pan and charge me five hundred dollar my advice too you find someone else cuz they a RIP OFF ARTIST
