Place is shorta of organized. Staff seems pretty freindly. Cool car up in the air for a sign. Thier are carts for you to use. Many tires are already pulled off on a rack up front. Seems they have a full service side too.They charge you $2 to get in then take advantage of you during half price day by charging you double. Never heard of that ever. As you can by my reviews I been to many a yard.Prices arent posted anywhere. Kinda of illegal. At least post most basic parts prices. All other yards do that. You never know if thier playng with the prices. Heard other people conplaining thier too. They claim they can can get them to budge by offering to leave the parts.Most all of the limited number of pickup trucks they were stripped out. Ford Chevys ect all together. They even admitted that. Car section all of one brand of cars are stuffed together (big and small ).Prices are high for even half price day. They said a grill is $35 on half price day, complete door is $120 ish. Truck tail gates are like $120 ish half price day. I went to Joliet You Pull it afterwards. They didnt charge me to go shopping, lot more trucks, and prices were cheap at thier everyday prices.Believe thier prices are even on thier site. They even had new Honda short blocks dirt cheap oddly.

Been here a few times, the pick and pull is a nice way to save money on parts. Well organized.

Ordered a part on Saturday that was still in the donor car and needed to be shipped out of state. I was amazed that I received it the next Wednesday. I had a question about the part and received an immediate response to my inquiry as well as a follow up call a couple of days later. Excellent honest customer service!

Ordered parts for my business and they kept delaying the order causing my customer to pay hundreds of dollars in rental fees. When they got the parts they couldn’t deliver them as promised. One of the parts never arrived and I had to end up buying one somewhere else. For some reason Neals thinks they’re some sort of used car parts broker. If you don’t have the part in your yard then don’t try to sell the part! I don’t know what happened to this place! Used to be a reliable place to get things. Now it’s just a bunch of junk that they’re trying to sell at a premium. I’ll make sure they won’t get the business from me or anyone I know. Big waste of my time!

Its pretty much impossible to find ECMs for cars right now, or even send them somewhere to get rebuilt, with the chip shortage. DO NOT get one from Neals!!! They say you can return it but they are liars. When you try to return the wrong ECM they sent you they will tell you no returns on electronics. BTW, they charge as much as a new one costs. Rip off artists is what they are. Obviously my name is not just an observer but I can assure you they did rip me off. I was able to convince one of the rip off artists to only keep $100 of the $500 he stole from me ( should give you enough information to give me the rest of my money back but I wont hold my breath).

Way overpriced used parts junkyard. Prices are so hight that it makes sense to go to any of the Chicago yards where its twice cheaper

Never in 30 years in the auto Business have done I had a Auto Recycling company jerk me around to get a part deliverd. Buyer Beware! They tell you it will be there on a date and never follow thru. Then Block your calls.

They helped me when no one else could or would. First and foremost, if you are looking for quality oem replacement parts, Neal will provide and can be trusted. Trust is number one when looking for parts and if you use Neal you will bit have to find that out the hard way.... Im not sure how there are 1 star reviews on here, but my guess would be the fault lies with the reviewer and not Neal Auto Parts. I had a great experience with locating and shipping a transmission here to Ohio. I explained my situation and they were helping me with a resolution immediately. Neal handled all the transactions and made it a very pleasant experience. I am happy to report that the transmission was installed and works flawlessly 6 months later. Ordered a complete rear end assembly. Went to pick it up on Saturday morning after checking to see what time they opened. Website said open at 8. Got there at 15 til. Find out they are closed on Saturday. Be nice to know that. .my bad, did not read far enough. The part where it says Monday is on the following line. All I saw was open at 8. An adjustment on the web site is advised. I wasted gas and time for nothing.

Not everything in the website is out there when you Pull-n-Save! Just an FYI. They only have certain vehicles for events like the $85 and the 1/2 price Wednesdays. I was excited for a certain car that I saw in the website but when I got there I just couldn’t find it.

Called employee she asked for my vehicle an model etc. Stated they had one. Spent 4 bucks to get in myself and a helper. Walked the whole yard, suspense was growing just to be let down that they did not have 1 vehicle. Would be ok if i did not call ahead of time same day. Not only wasted 2 hour drive but 4 bucks and 40 min walking whole yard. Is this how you scam people? So mad that i want to boycott and send this across social media. They would not even try to make it right. Even when lady stated she talked to me and was not responsible for their information being correct?? Going to other yards from now on cause i never had this problem except for NEALS.

A Neal rep told tire shop where we were stranded that they had needed wheel. Made arrangements to tow car to Peoria, then told wheel not located in Peoria! Towed car 800 miles home. Waited for wheel to be shipped. Was wrong size. Reordered. 2nd wheel arrived a day late and also was the wrong size! Neal cost us 14 days without a wheel. Ordered elsewhere. I do not trust this company.

Backstory- We were in the process of moving from one state to another and authorized the purchase of this specific part from Neals because the warranty is transferrabl eand would not be required to go back to the original shop should anything happen.Let me start by saying that when I first called Tim answered the phone and was upset that I was calling in the first place and not the shop that did the work before cutting me off while I tried to explain the issue with the transmission they sold us and transferring the call to what I assume is the store/sales manager Mike. (not a great way to start the call)(Note this warranty is transferrable and the only reason we did not have the shop call them directly is because we have moved out of state and are currently looking into working with another shop)I purchased a transmission for $1,725.00 on June 22nd 2020 from Neal Auto Parts with a warranty as stated above. We were sold a lemon for a transmission as after 600 (approx) miles the transmission is now throwing codes P0752 and P0700- again. After contacting the shop that worked on the transmission and Neals weve been informed that they will replace the parts (which is great) but will only put $50 towards labor.I would understand this if we were close to the end of the warranty or if we were really hard on the car but the transmission should NOT be malfunctioning after only 600 miles almost all highway. This would leave us with another $700+ bill (on the low side and if the labor rate was only $100) that shouldnt be in exsistence to begin with, as well as risking getting another transmission/selonoid pack from them that could have the same problems. When I contacted Mike at Neal Auto to see if thelabor rate is negotiable due to the malfunction being so soon after the purchase I was told We cannot do this and this is why we have the warranty and unfortunatly mechanical things break, it is what it is if the selonoid is bad then this must be a known problem I understand why you are upset and why you feel like you are being screwed over but again it is what it isNeedless to say this is extremely dissapointing, frustrating, and quite frankly poor business practice.Update: The shop we are working with currently has informed us that Neals is so upset that we made the complaint/review that now they are refusing to work with us and that technically the shop 12 hours away is their customer and they will not do anything unless the previous shop is contacting them.

Pretty disappointed in my experience. I called for a rim for my car. They said they had it. Price was great. I paid and left. Went to the tire store to have a tire put on and was quickly informed they gave me the wrong size rim. I checked my receipt. It had the correct size listed, but I received the wrong part. I paid cash, I expected cash as a refund. They would only write me a check. Completely inconvenient considering my bank is an hour away and every bank in Peoria charges you to cash a check. If you go there double check your part before you pay because apparently the parts people cant.

Amazing staff, great prices. Needed a replacement wheel - $50. And the option of U-Pull is great for people with tools and knowledge to just go get what they need. Next time I need a replacement part, theyll be top of my list.

Went in for a small interior part no longer in circulation. The team helped navigate me to the right spot and was able to find what I needed and test it to make sure. Overall a very good experience.

I gave 4 stars because I enjoy going, most of the staff is awesome, they have a decent selection of vehicles and when they run specials or have 1/2 price days you can save a decent amount of money over new parts. A few years ago they had several individuals who were very knowledgeable and helpful, Ryan N was one of the individuals and he is still missed by a lot of customers! The prices have increased alot in the last 2 years, so my advice is look up the cost to buy the new parts, then ask what the cost is for the used part before you put in the sweat and blood. They do not offer pricing lists on line or at the door like other salvage yards so always ask for the price AND any additional fees. I do love the place but their current pricing is not always a deal.

Today i went there for my chevy impala 2005 headlight after pulling out ,cashier said me 54$ for single headlight 😆😆😆 .new one is costing 87 $ for both side ,truly garbage cashier.

I purchased an engine from Baltazar Zavala and he never replaced it! I informed Neals of this and they said oh well, thats between you and him. I will never give Neals my business again. To employ a liar and thief is ridiculous!

Friendly, has some older stuff.. i drive a 30 yr old truck, most of my parts are getting hard to find. They have my door glass, but no sensors. Nothing electronic.At least they were friendly about it. Lol

I have a collision shop, I needed a taillight for a job that needed to be finished that day. Dave at extension 515 dropped what he was doing. Had a guy pull taillight. Put on there delivery truck. Deliver to shop that day!! What a great job to go the extra effort. THANK YOU !!!

Tried to go to the $85 all you can carry sale. My cousin who had my tools showed up at 3:33 and they wouldnt let him in even though the sale ended at 4 they said they stop letting people in at 3:30 but that detail was not posted in the sale rules so waste of gas and time. Very frustrated will not be returning.

Prices are too high today I wanted to buy a mirror and the guy said it cost 16 later I asked him about some more things he had and they made me very expensive and I told him that I didnt want them, I just wanted the mirror and thats why the guy got upset And then I asked him what the story was just because of the mirror and he said that 50 as soon as I can find it on eBay for 35 they want to sell you pieces as if they were buying them at the Dealer also the people who are in the window are very rude if you dont they like their work, I dont know why they dont look for a job they like so they dont deal with people

As someone who has worked for them over 6 mos...if you can get parts from ANYWHERE other than there,,DO IT!,I have witnessed personally them pulling,, stocking,, and selling JUNK motors and parts,,then sell then to unsuspecting customers,,BUYER BEWARE!! I also know that the Neal family only cares about themselves,,the people that actually do the work there honestly get treated like they are completely disposable,,,the last thing that family needs is any $$ at all! I honestly hope the EPA gets involved for them allowing several chemicals to flow into the fields behind their property,,antifreeze ..oil..gasoline..battery acid..the list goes on,,and they dont even have a license to do what they do,,,do business elsewhere your $$ deserves to be spent anywhere but there!!!

Made a deposit Wednesday morning for a truck window, they said they had 3. I called 3 times today just to be answered on the third and told they were all broken. Terrible experience. Id leave no stars if I could.

I dont deal with the actual Neals I just go to the u-pull lot and do my business there. I pull the parts I need so that way I know its the parts that go to my vehicle. To me thats all their good for. But other than that I like their service. They usually Have what I need

Great prices, specially on wednesdays...thats IF you can find the parts, and good luck if you need an engine part, as the used auto parts business on the right gets most of the motors and transmissions out (to sell at a higher price, of course) before the cars are brought to the u-pull it yard. The workers at the u-pull-it yard are very nice though.

I came to buy a set of tires while friends was picking a part charge is 4 dollars to go back but they forgot a tool I asked could I run it back she said no I gave to charge everyone and it wasnt cause she had to charge its how rude and unprofessional she is . Horrible experience. I needed a door and fender for a 98 Toyota. They had a 99 and assured me the parts would fit my car. I was told I had 30 days to return the parts for my money back. Neither part fit my vehicle so I returned them but DID NOT get all of my money back. I was told that I had to pay for the 30 day warranty. What should have been $115 was returned as $93...and in the form of a check, not the cash I paid to purchase the parts. Beware...nowhere on the signage does it say you are having to pay for a warranty. Make sure you know for sure parts will fit because you will never receive all of your money back from this disgraceful, crooked place.
