First time buying a firearm and couldnt ask for a better experience. Owners were helpful. Prices were better than other stores. Will be going back for any future purchases.

George is a straightforward guy! The place is warm, and the staff treats you with respect! Whether youre a newbie(like myself) or one of the regulars, they give you the time and energy that you need. I purchased my first gun with them and recently used the range to practice. His son gave SOUND advice and they made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you!

Came in last 45min left of day on a Friday, they pulled out a bunch of bolt action .22s for me. Great selection, just what I needed to fill a niche. Very patient service, nics done and out the door at 6 ;)

One of the most friendly places to shoot with a qualified gunsmith ready to answer any questions. This range gives the user a more intimate mom and pop type of store then the bigger ranges.DetSgt A. Diamond Retired

Recently had my 9mm worked on there. George quoted $100 yet ended up charging me only $85. Work required sourcing an out of stock sear, installing and reconditioning a 30 year old pistol. Got it done quickly. Recommend you give them a chance to help you!

I bought my Sig Sauer 516 patrol edition and my son m4 Colt 22 rifle back 3yrs ago George did a great job on getting my both rifles ready for me. He also did some modifications on my rifles. Great person to talk to and very knowledgeable on guns. I highly recommended this place.

G&S Hunters is the only gunsmith Ive been coming to now for over ten years. They are extremely competent, prompt, attentive, honest and professional. No matter the project (refinishing, milling, fixing scopes, sights, etc, etc), they did it attentively, and well. And the charges are also very reasonable.

Brought my Bushmaster AR-15 in for servicing - was having issues with ammo loading properly. Not only did the owner immediately take the gun apart and review pieces individually - he realized the trigger spring was not working properly - replaced it and didnt charge me. Excellent service!! Have bought many guns from them and will continue

This place is the best. I have been shooting since I was a kid and I got lessons from Marcos (the range owner) and he is an expert. He fixes all of my guns and handles all aspects of my gun collection including helping me chose my next gun.My entire family swears by Paterson Gunsmithing and this is one class operation. There are no games being played here and I feel safe and comfortable shooting here.Alexander

I dropped off an AR-15 upper months ago, with George, for the bayonet lug to be ground off and a muzzle brake to be pinned. The sloppy blue finish on where the bayonet lug was is uneven with exposed bare metal around the edges (now rusted) and the muzzle brake wasnt indexed properly. The brake was pinned and welded, clocked off center (12 oclock at 11). Not a total show stopper but irks me nonetheless, considering that I provided a set of shims with the brake. Theres a reason why he charges less than the competition. You get what you pay for.Edit: You never offered to refinish the barrel or anything of that sort, so dont give me that nonsense about price point. I didnt even complain about the color matching. Regardless, it was a sloppy application of whatever finish you applied; it didnt cover the edges of the milled out section, which have oxidized.Yes, I provided you with a muzzle brake that I purchased from another retailer, but either way, you probably wouldnt have installed it properly anyway. Nice attempt at a straw man argument, implying that it would have made a difference with the lazy workmanship.Manufacturer states that it is supposed to be indexed at 12 oclock, and they even supplied a set of shims, which I provided to you, and you didnt even use any; the index mark is off center because you did not index it properly before drilling and pinning, plain and simple. I thought you were just lazy or careless, but now I know you are a liar as well.I would imagine that good customer service dictates that you stand behind your work and offer to make it right, instead of deflecting responsibility and blaming your incompetence/laziness on the customer, but lesson learned. You get what you pay for.

I was searching for an AR 15 9mm found G&S who was able to purchase the Stag Model 9 and make it NJ Compliaant for under $1000!! within 2 weeks I had it. The owner is great and so is his staff. I will be purchasing my next AR 15 from George shortly. Forgot to mention they will pin your stock at the length you request, instead of buying off the shelf with a pinned stock. Great job I have over 1500 rounds and no issues and have passed there business card to others who have asked.Thank you G&S Hunters!!
