We absolutely LOVE the owner, Sandy. She is always so amazing with my daughter. We started shopping at The Dance Bag when my daughter was 2 and she is now 11 years old. She made getting her first pointe shoe fitting so memorable and had my daughter sign the wall. I highly recommend shopping here.

I don’t know who the youngish guy is who works here, with a shop full of children, he was so rude. Unbelievably so. I won’t be shopping for my daughter here again.He thinks he’s the only dance store in Paramus/Ridgewood area that’s ‘still in business’ (his words) - if he’d like to keep it that way he might want to change his attitude!

They are nothing short of amazing. Sandy and Jade are incredible and the best at a proper pointe shoe fitting. They are so knowledgeable and knew what shoe would be best for my daughter. The best customer service. So worth the drive. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.

The staff are very friendly here. My boy needed an attire for ballet and tap and I was able to get most of the stuff with the help they provided. They didnt have the size for his tights but the guy was trying to help me out in finding them. Will definitely be back due to great customer service and availability of stocked items.

1/18/21 Visited today for a second time. What exceptional service. Took my older daughter for new tap and pointe shoes. Jade is just so knowledgeable. She spoke directly to my daughter and really made sure that both shoes fit her perfectly. I wish we had been shopping here since the beginning of their dance careers but we will certainly be shopping here doing forward.November 2020 What a wonderful experience! I called the store to ask if they had a specific pointe shoe in stock (they did) and Alex held them for us until we could get there. Jade was super friendly and helped fit my daughter comfortably. We were in a bit of a rush so we didnt look around much (they have a huge selection!) but we will definitely be back!
