Little disappointed with Larrys follow up

I used Floor Town to install carpeting throughout my entire condo (first and second floor). Exceptional service from the minute I stepped through the door. Michelle took the time to walk me through various questions I needed to consider before purchasing a carpet – questions I didn’t even know to ask. End result, was a solution that fit within my budget, and great product. Installation was just as easy. The team was fantastic. I received a call before they arrived, and after they were done for the day. Everything was always cleaned up and ready for the next day’s work. I highly recommend them for any of your flooring needs!!!

The process of replacing carpeting in my home was made very easy by the staff at floor town. Michelle was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my selections. The installers were very good at what they do as well, and cleaned up after the job was completed. I plan to use Floor town again with any future projects.

As a professional interior designer, I recently used Floor Town as a resource for one of my projects. I was impressed with the vast amount of products they offer - both for commercial and residential surfaces. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my selections. They were efficient and proactive with the order process, and experts at the installation. I plan to continue to build on this very satisfactory relationship.

We ordered 2 special order carpets the week before Christmas and were told they would be ready in 1-2 weeks. Two weeks went by and we still hadnt heard anything so we called. The person who answered the phone was not able to give us a straight answer and we were told someone else would call us back. That person never called back. So we called again and after a lot of back and forth we were told one would be ready Wednesday and one Friday. My husband calls Wednesday morning to see if the carpet is ready and is told it was not. (Good thing he didnt waste his time going there!) They could not tell us a firm date. After a lot of back and forth and unnecessary phone calls we finally received both carpets (weeks later) and not at the same time. Sales staff is pretty useless and couldnt tell us anything. Dont shop here if you can help it.

Fantastic experience and extremely professional. Best vendor we choose for our entire renovation project by far. So happy we went for them! Prices were fair and quality seems excellent. I definitely recommend them to anyone!!!!

There is a huge quality difference between the big box stores and the folks at Floor Town. Dont buy just on the lowest price and my experience with Floor Town is a perfect example. I got a good price and real expert professionals that know the product and installed it to my specifications. Everyone that sees my dining room raves about the floor. This is a quality company with quality products and they dont settle for anything short of making the customer happy.

We used Floor Town to install carpeting in our newly renovated basement. The cost was very reasonable for the quality carpet we received. The only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because there was a confusion with the measurements and we did not receive enough carpeting to cover all the area. Therefore the installation took 3 days plus we had to wait for the additional carpet to come in. That being said we did NOT have to pay for the extra carpeting, and everyone we worked with was extremely professional and nice. We are so happy with the carpet, and get lots of complements on it. We would definitely use Floor Town again.

Once again, another great Floor Town experience! We have been faithful Floor Town customers--as were my parents--for over 30 years. We have been gradually replacing carpeting with wood flooring and our bedroom was the last room to go. The quality of materials is a given, its the installation that is critical, so we were happy that Dario once again was doing our installation. He (and his assistants) had done a marvelous job in our hallway and other rooms and this was no exception. Showed up on time, meticulous detail, even fixed the squeaking bedroom floor. Cleaned up at the end of the first day, even though the job wasnt yet finished. And I knew from prior jobs I could trust Dario so I didnt have to hang around the house for two days until the job was done. Thank you, Floor Town

Dont waste your time anywhere else, like I did. I thought Floortown would be too expensive, but I ended up with a far superior product, thanks to Kenny and Michele, at the same price for a lesser floor at a big box store. The installation was seamless thanks to Cynthia who scheduled me, and Pedro and Tito, who did a perfect installation. Our experience with Floortown in Paramus couldnt have been any easier or gone any smoother. The entire store staff involved in some part of our purchase or installation, and there were eight in all, were knowledgeable and responsive.There was a more than adequate product selection, and our salesman explained everything and answered all our questions both at the store and during his visit to our home. We all know an overeager sales staff when we encounter them, but at no time did we feel pressured.We wont hesitate to recommend them to our friends and we would definitely shop there again for flooring.

We used another floor company to lay our kitchen floor, but were totally unhappy with their work, so we hired Floor Town to install hardwood floors in our living room and dining room. The crews showed up on time; they were neat, professional, friendly, polite, and we had no qualms about leaving them alone in our house. Floor Town finished the job on-time and on-budget and there were no hidden costs at the end of the job. The price of the estimate was the price we paid to the penny. The hardwood installer was a perfectionist, like an artist, and took tremendous pride in his work. And it showed! We would not hesitate to use Floor Town again and highly recommend the company.

They never get back to you when they say they will, very poor customer service and price quote was $2500.00 - $3000.00 dollars higher then all the others I received.You also have to go to the store and pick the floor you want to get someone to come out to measure for the estimate and then wait around for over a week. Most flooring contractors bring samples to your house.

We were recommended to FloorTown by my parents who had nothing but good things to say about them. When we took our first look in the store, we felt at ease dealing with Dave (who we later found out was the owner). He was very patient with us as we were not quite sure what kind of flooring we wanted. We were changing from carpet and we were concerned that there were some underlying issues with the sub floor. Dave recommended for him to come out and look at the floor and then had the head installer come out also. After we came to a decision on the type of flooring we wanted (with the recommendations from Dave), they were there within 2 weeks and finished the job in 2 days. And even with a couple unexpected house hiccups (we have only owned the house for 1 year and are still finding quirky things the old homeowners did), the install team came up with a solution very quickly to make sure everything could be completed within the 2 days. Everyone from the sales team to the install team was very professional and accommodating. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way the floors came out. I would highly recommend them for any job, large or small.

A great experience buying flooring from Floor Town! After having to remove toxic flooring I had in my home (we were unaware until became ill for almost a year with coughs and headaches) We went months with no flooring searching for a quality product and educated sales associates to help us after the upsetting experience. I was happy to finally find a store where the staff was helpful, knowledgable, and attentive to my concerns and needs. They went above and beyond to get me all data on flooring and assure me my new flooring was safe and would be installed using all safe materials. They never forgot about you, I received phone calls with the info I requested, friendly courtesy calls to see if all my questions were answered end even home visits to assess conditions before laying floor and inspect the quality of the job. I was always treated with respect, never belittling my concerns and made me feel my concerns were important to them also.They carry quality products and that is what brought me into Floor Town, the amazing customer service is why I purchased from them. Be cautious about buying substandard flooring from discount stores that know little about the product. Cheap flooring is not worth your health!

My husband & I have been married for almost 30 years. Growing up in Paramus, his family always used Floortown so when we bought a home in Oradell where were we advised to go for flooring? Floortown! of course! Our most recent purchase was a vinyl type one piece flooring made specifically for laying over a cement slab as opposed to gluing it down. It was recommended by their staff because we indicated that we occasionally got water in the basement. This product is amazing. We can lift it up, wipe underneath & just lay it back down. An added bonus is the look...it looks like hardwood flooring & wears beautifully.We are so happy with our purchase & highly recommend Floortown for their knowledgeable staff and reliable installers.

Took them 4 days to give me a quote to carpet just my stairs, after i showed them pictures and sent the measurements that they requested. Will not go back.

I went to Floor town last Thursday morning 2/8 but they were closed and a bankrupt sign was on the door? Is this true?

Dealt with Keith Costa and he was unpleasant and pushy. I did not like his approach so I went with another store that had better sales people.
