I was visiting Pacifica for thw first time in a while and decided to stop here to ahow my kids what I hope would be a decent comic store. Sadly I was not too impressed. Back in the mid 80s when Coastside was across from the post office this was my go to place for comics. Even into the 90s and on it was great. I guess a few years ago, Romi retired and it just has a totally different vibe now. The selection of comics is pretty slim. They seem to focus on gaming now. There were three people working but it was just an odd put of place experience for us.

Hours of operation dont match online hours. Wasted my time driving here. Not even sure if the store is still around since no signs of their store name is present.

Looks like they’re out of business, windows were covered with paper and sign was gone. Did they go down with covid? It was sad that nothing was there when Google is showing they’re open.

Smaller selection of comics than I expected even though the place is bigger than youd assume from the entrance. Half of the place is/was set up for board games which is normal and I do hope this place survives. I prefer other comic bookstores for comics but Im ok with whatever it takes to survive.

Great selection of comics. Many people come by to play certain games (im not too sure what, but they all seemed happy) the employees will help you if you need it. And have a great knowledge of the comics. If you have an idea of what you want, they will find it. And the prices arnt bad. Id definitely say on the cheaper side. Great selection of games, comics, and props.

Also known as Anime Imports, this place is just great! Plenty of table space for playing games, they hold tournaments for the popular games, a few arcade games with prizes, everything is very well priced, staff is super friendly, they have snacks, and a great comic selection. You can also open a comic subscription account and they will always have the latest issue of the comics that your subscribed to! The owner is extremely knowledgeable of every game in the shop and ones that they dont have! They will also make special orders and get you just what you need!

Organization went really there... Comic book grouping were out sorts... No bargin bins... Some current issues over priced where at other shops are still cover price... 1st and last vist.

More of a gaming place, and really small selection of comic books.

Staff was very friendly, place has a ton of selection. It feels like a hidden gem. Picked up some old Punisher comics. Very happy, definitely coming back.

I have not been into a comic books store in ages and it was refreshing and daunting to see one still alive. The naustalgia of visiting one again was great but I here on a mission to pic up a comic so I could not bask in the memories for too long. Lee who I will dub the comic book guy and another who I apologize I did not get his name were very helpful. Check it out as we dont know how long these will last. Pre ordered my bitter root comic.

So there’s this one man who works there who is always in a bad mood and doesn’t treat customers with respect. Otherwise everyone else is nice and the store has great comic selection.

Just got my Eaglemoss Batman and a couple of Heroclix and they are GREAT!This comic store is much much much more complete than a lot of comic stores out there. Maybe even better than Comix Experience Outpost because of its larger selection of comics and items!Be sure to drop by!!!Thanks Manong!

Been there twice, 1st guy excellent 2nd guy hmmmm awful

What the hell! The Booster Boxes of Heroclix I bought were ALL opened!!! That means they checked to see what the rare figure was and resealed the box, NOT COOL! I didnt check the boxes because Ive never had this happen, but cmon! Normally Id come here for Heroclix and new Comic issues that were sold out at my local stores here in SF, but I will not be coming back. A place that is willing to preopen Heroclix boxes to make sure there isnt a figure they could sell for more individually is not ok in my book.

I used to be a regular comics customer here 8 years ago. But now its not really a Comic store anymore, its more like a gaming store.

It doesnt exist.

You can count on coast side comics to have avrething that you want to do with marvel DC and anamaie
