What ever happened to the slogan Youre always next in line ?20 cash registers and only 2 open!Self service register line at least 25 people long. I ran in for something quick & just left. Not worth waiting!!Ill go somewhere else, pay a few cents extra, and actually get some customer service.

My first visit to this particular Walmart. Has a nice selection on everything. Nice, clean environment. Staff was helpful in helping me get what I need. Had a crowd of people Halloween shopping, but they seem to handle it well.

I hate writing unfavorable reviews, but in this case, its necessary. Weve shopped at this Walmart Supercenter since it was opened - 30 years or so. Prior to COVID, my wife used to enjoy shopping there at least once or twice per week. Since COVID our visits have been less frequent and we often order via the web to pick up in store or have it shipped to our home.We ordered a WiFi security camera last week that was delivered yesterday. Unfortunately, the wrong camera was delivered. I called the manufacturer of the camera to confirm this and was told to return it to my local Walmart, which is what we did today. I carefully re-boxed the camera and printed out the receipt for my wife to take to Walmart.After waiting nearly 30 minutes for customer service, my wife encountered Jean. Jean was outright rude and unhelpful. She stated that she would not provide any proof that we returned the item and would not issue a credit for the return. My wife called me so I could explain to Jean that the wrong item was shipped. Jean refused to talk to me on the phone and I could hear Jeans rude comments in the background.With no other recourse, my wife left the fully boxed camera at the desk. Jean said the item would be returned to the shipper and it would be up to them to issue the credit. Interestingly, in spite of what Jean said and her ongoing rudeness, my wife was given a receipt showing the item, the shipping number and a note that the credit would be issued within five business days. In other words, the Walmart system worked as it should, but Jean made it a miserable experience and provided bad information.We seldom return things since we order carefully, but on the occasions when we have, stores like Target and Amazon have been friendly, helpful and quick to provide a full refund. Im hopeful that Walmart management will take immediate action to correct this situation - Jean is giving your store a very bad name.

This Walmart has been the anchor of this intersection since the 90s. The customer service desk is fast even though there was only 1 lady working and several in line. Its been remodeled a couple of times over the years. The help is friendly.

We needed an inexpensive pot and lid to make a chili. Were just visiting from Israel, and we didnt want to spend a lot of money for a pot we will leave here in the US. We keep kosher, so we needed something completely metal and glass so we could Tovel it before using. We found just what we needed. Thank you Walmart.

Worst service Ive ever experienced at any business. I tried to call multiple times to find out about an item I was looking for, the electronics dept let the phone ring for over 10 minutes while I waited, then they simple took the phone off the hook so it wouldnt ring anymore without answering or hanging up. I tried to call and speak to an associate and almost the exact same thing happened, 5 minutes of waiting to speak to ANYONE and they hung up instead of answering. Decided to chance it and drove 40 minutes to try and get the item I wanted to buy, only to find they were sold out. Which happens to be the exact reason I called. I tried to speak to an employee and ask if they know when they might have more in and I was told no one had put in an order, so probably not for a few weeks. I asked if someone could call and let me know when they got a shipment in and I was told, we dont really do that anymore.Disgusting level of service that wasted my time and gas. Im not trying to be entitled, but with this level of disrespect, go literally anywhere else to shop, clearly the staff at this location are too busy to help customers or answer the phone. The kindest person I heard from was the automated voice on the phone menu.

Almost every week we are here for groceries. Youll find almost what you need here. One stop shop for all your household needs. Plus, they have collectibles and toys too. Good place to hunt for toys.

They had everything I needed.... and they had enough staff to keep the checkout running smoothly. Thats a plus in my book!!

Its a friend place for adults and children. The people are friendly. Shopping was great. I didnt have to stand in a long line. Face mask is required. Had a delightful experience.

The pharmacy staff is outstanding. The cashiers are all great. One that stands out is TaNae. I am there very often and in watching her handle the people ahead of me, I am really impressed on her ability to handle several customers so gracefully and professionally. She knows many of the peoples names and only needs their birthday to start the register. She gets 6 stars from me. Outstanding preformer

This place can get VERY busy at times, so for a better experience try to avoid peak hours. No complaints. High demand and traffic just proves for itself that people want to be here. The bakery chef was great she took care of my last minute cake request! I also got there just as she was pulling the Italian and French bread out of the oven. I picked up 2 loaves on the French 1 with sesame seeds and the other with everything seeds. The cake and bread was awesome! The bread is a dollar a loaf thats a deal!

Good amount of self checkouts with good attendants. Even has regular lanes still open. 4/5 because of some empty shelves, but I understand thats not their fault.

Truly need to fire the manager and get someone that can provide leadership and direction at this store. While waiting for someone in sporting goods to come and not sure if anyone was going to come to help, I called their mainline. It must have rang over 5 minutes and Noone ever answered. Luckily someone did show up to help me and was able to print my hunting permits.

Busy place, lots of options, prices fair or better. Could be cleaner. I ordered something for I store pickup but had to wait a long time to get anyone to respond.

Went to the customer service earlier today I had a problem with transferring money to my uncle using Western Union. A lady wasnt helpful nor respectful she started yelling and saying that Im a theft and a liar just because the person I sent him the money didnt receive it and I was on the phone with the Western union customer service who gave me tracking ID and told her to talk to him and she refused! she also refused to use the tracking ID for no reason! I cant get why she is at the customer service if she is not willing to help customers or just even listen to them!! I had to go to another Walmart and they helped me out and used the tracking ID which showed them that there was a block on the money and he really didnt receive it! I will never ever go back to this branch and I am really upset that they hire this kind of DISRESPECTFUL Employee. I think she was having a bad day and shouldnt be working nor dealing with people

Pay your workers more. I talked to one of your employees while they were hiding from you guys on break as I waited for my girlfriend to take a dump. You guys make people work through their breaks as you were calling for this person every 5 seconds. Wow just wow. My girlfriends dump was 5 out of 5 though. Super easy to take a dump in a place that is just made up of other dumps.

At this location we found all of our sons needs for college. Also, great selection of KU gear for the entire family and souvenirs at great prices. 👍

Always crowded at checkout with only 1 normal lane open and a ton waiting in line for self-checkout. Otherwise a perfectly okay Walmart.Did see employees have a loud argument there in the deli once. Not enough to cause a scene really but definitely always entertaining

I was standing in line at customer service and witnessed the Supervisor publicly humiliate a very kind little elderly lady. She was trying to return something without a receipt and the employee said, “I don’t care about your excuses! Without a receipt how am I supposed to know when you purchased this? You had 90 days to return this”. I’m mad at myself for not stepping in to defend the lady, but I was in shock as to what was happening. She did not deserve to be berated, just because she didn’t bring her receipt. The employee should be fired since being a decent human being and providing customer service is clearly not something she is capable of.

Needed some items for our pool party and it was a one stop shop for everything. The only issue is the checkout took forever. They need more was to get out of there effectively.

Much better than a lot of Wal-Mart locations around the city. They generally are kept clean and well stocked. Employees have always been helpful and courteous.

This Wal-Mart is on the smaller side as far as super-centers go so you might not be able to find everything you are looking for but the associates are friendly and helpful. I was looking for something in particular, used the app to find the aisle, still couldn’t find it, the associate walked over with me, actually looked, and MOVED a couple items to find it. I had walked by it three times. She could have just said “nope, we must be out” This is why I like this particular one.

Its a Walmart, hey? But it is towards the southern edge of the Metro, so the crowds/lines are much lighter, even on weekends.

I had several items to return. They all were slacks for my husband that I had to order online, because he wears a big and tall mens size hard to find in stores. I ordered a few different sizes and styles, and brands, so he could try them on to find the best fit.I thought it would be easiest for the return desk to start the returns on line.It turned out the software system in my store didnt work with the online return software.It was very time consuming and frustrating for the nice lady working at the desk.She had to ask for help from a manager, and that didnt work either.But my customer service representative kept her cool, even as the line behind me got pretty long.She was kind and patient, which encouraged me to stay calm and kind also.A situation that could have been horrible was solved with grace.Thank you!Lynn Potter

Not sich a great experience here... park my semi walked across the lot to store waited for like 20min in money service line standing in same spot entire time. literally did not move no exaggeration. Another store i wanted go to after was closing at 18:00 so i left line to go there thinking Ill give them a chance to work the line down.made it back at 18:15 or so to find out the line moved but they also closed it off early not allowing any more customers. MSs closes at 20:30????????waste of my time.

Its a super Walmart like any other super Walmart. Only difference is I get my meds here and Im not a fan of the pharmacy being placed in the middle of the building. Would be much better to have a drive through so I dont have to hike through a super store. If you have trouble walking id find a drive through pharmacy somewhere else.

This store dont allowed me to return the new, useless mattress (bought on Aug. 18th, 21, two days, never used) in store? the clerk said no return due to clearance, but this item is not marked for clearance. the manager said no return due to Covid -19. I spent 2 hours check their website, but havent found any information about it. also I saw there are people return the bedroom products in store. why I am special? Are u discriminating against me?

It’s one of the smaller Walmart Super center’s but it’s really nice. The store is always clean. Depending on when you go the lines can get crazy. Plus, their parking lot is a crazy mess if you go during a popular time. The employees are friendly.

The Walmart on 119th and Metcalf is the dirtiest place.. The employees get mad when you ask for help

I was fully assured the cell phone I bought here was activated and ready to use but now Ive been on the phone with the provider for over an hour because they goofed it up at the store.

Its a larger store than 119th street but again its only beer on the kansas grocery stores. Curbside pickup is generally quick without waiting longer than 10 minutes. If the desired hour isnt available for pickup, dont choose the closest one. Ive noticed the busy hours cause people to pickup the next hour which makes wait times longer. Selection is decent at this store and usually everything is in stock unless its a holiday/seasonal item.

Cons:1) Compared to most other Walmarts, this one appears to have a lot more empty shelves - likely due to how many people seem to shop here2) Shelves appear much more disorganized and chaotic3) Much more crowded than many Walmarts4) The clientele at this Walmart feel more like Walmart Clientele than at other places - saw more frozen/cold food just left out on random shelves than I had in over a year

Like many businesses which have to keep the prices rising to keep up their bank accounts yes Walmart is a gathering place for many people and its good in some cases that like my cousin who once was a grocer small town man, they just ran the little guy out of business

This Walmart has threatening signs saying absolutely no truck or RV parking. What the heck?! Walmart is the only place to buy RV supplies other than specialized shops. Why wouldnt you allow customers to park while shopping? My wife stayed in the RV with the engine idling while I literally ran in so that no one would give us trouble.Other Walmarts have policies about not staying overnight and that makes fine sense, but not allowing you to park while shopping is just strange.On the plus side I did get the water filter and TST I came for.

It is a little better than most other Walmart locations. This one has clean isles, well stocked shelves and relatively friendly employees that seem to enjoy being there.

This Walmart sucks. Every time I need to return something I have to go to a different location because their customer service desk is NEVER OPEN. I tried to ask the greeter if they were taking returns at a register instead and he was CLUELESS and RUDE. Never again.

Not a bad place to go and get gas and Diggs. Some of the cigg prices are extremely good. There is a lot of business flowing through this establishment and it gets a little wild around there at times. Staff is generally helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint is that you pick the worst times to so a shift change. The other night a bunch of us stood in line for 15-20 minutes at 7:00pm, while they conducted a shift change. This is in general one of your busiest times, customer wise, and to have to wait that long just to pay for gas. Almost isnt worth going too, on occasions and also closing around 10:00pm is to my thinking just about an hour too early. That is usually a business time in the evening. I cant count how much business you lose on a daily basis because you close earlier than anyone else around you. Thank you

Update - the manager reached out to me and rectified the situation, I wont say too little too late, because they did get backThankfully, I saved my receipts and took photos.I had bought apples and oranges on June 18, 2021, along with several other items from Walmart store number 01599. When I returned home, I found that the apples were rotten and the oranges had a stale sickly flavor to them. So I went to the app and started a return. After which I received a notification on the Walmart pay app (which I used for the payment), that I do not have to bring the product back because of the Walmarts freshness guarantee. I also contacted their app customer support and they said they cannot help me several times as it is a Walmart in-store and not a Walmart.com issue. They also said I have to bring the receipt to the store for a refund. I went there several times, but the counter was closed. Finally, after 22 days I found the refund counter open but they didnt refund me because I didnt bring 30-day old produce, filled with fungus and would have had maggots. This Walmart expects me to store rotting produce for 30 days endangering me.

This is a smaller Walmart that doesnt have EVERYTHING that other Super Walmarts have, but they have the basics and its a very clean and modern store.

Huge. It has pretty much everything at decent prices. It was fairly crowded. Only a few regular checkout lanes now. Mostly self serve - with most low on bags and 1 very busy person trying to help.

This is the first Walmart in my entire life not to price correct something that was mislabeled on the shelf. The self checkout attendant was dismissive of my concern and inconsiderate of my concern.
