Simplicity installed our entire home automation system and was involved with our builder from the ground up. We love being able to control lights, TV, music, climate, etc all from our phone! As with any technology, we come across glitches every now and then, and when we do, it just takes a call or a text and Simplicity and they are immediately responsive and resolving the issue either remotely or if needed they can usually get someone to our house same-day to resolve the problem.

Simplicity was a bright spot in the build process. While every other sub contractor found an excuse not to show up, Simplicity was there and has been responsive during the whole process. Simplicity is a great company for home automation. Joe is truly an expert when it comes to designing and implementing Crestron systems. We worked with Simnplicity to provide solutions in our home for shades, lighting, distributed video, sound, and home theater., among others. When designing a system, theyre honest about what can be accomplished, and with their breadth of experience can offer ideas that you never even thought were possible. Plus the installers really know their stuff and are experts at troubleshooting. Its not always easy to find a technology company that you can trust, but Simplicity is honest and they deliver the goods.

The service team is amazing, beginning with the initial call; Emily is one of the most amazing, caring, diligent service providers I have ever met. She knows how to find solutions, take responsiblity for the clients well-being and follow up for satisfaction results! The tech ream is knowledgable, curteous and just fun. Its great to know that when dealing with technology that service is first class at Simplicity.

My wife and I recently purchased a home and we had Simplicity prewire windows in some rooms for shades. On other windows we had planned on manually operated shades or shades that could be operated with a remote but battery powered. Simplicity installed their shades on the windows they prewired. After living in the home for few months and operating both the shades Simplicity installed and the other shades I now wish I would have had Simplicity prewire and install their shades in all of these windows. We operate the shades through a mobile application, the shades operate quietly, you can just tell they are high quality and they have a lifetime warranty. The Simplicity shades operate much smoother than the other shades, operate much quieter and you do not have to mess with installing and replacing batteries. Again, if I had to do over again I would have had Simplicity prewire all windows we had planned for shades and had the Simplicity shades installed.

I loved my experience with Simplicity. They brought so much to the table and pulled it all together into simple to use controls for the family. We had no idea how much they would make our new dream home even better.We were building our dream home, and our builder introduced us to Simplicity. I’m a pretty big techno geek and have worked in home automation in the past, so I thought that I had a pretty good idea on how we would automate our house. But Joe and his team brought more ideas that really made a difference. They walked the house with us when it was only a shell. We talked through how we use entertainment, what games the children like, how we would use each room and outdoor seating area. In the end, we got a lot more use for pretty small change in budget.I didn’t realize that home automation needs such a strong wifi backbone. But we have outstanding coverage throughout our house. And also in our neighbors house. I can use my wifi in almost every room in my neighbor’s house, except for the far corner of his sub-basement. My daughter uses our wifi at the neighborhood pool.The best part about working with Simplicity is that they took all of these technologies to run our house and put them into easy to use controls. We have two types of handheld remotes for everything, as well as touchpads mounted in common areas. Since I am the only techno geek in the family, the controls had to be very simple to use, and these are.If we had to do this over again, I would involve Simplicity much earlier in the building project. We could have saved a lot on our electrical plan and had a lot more automation for relatively simple things. In particular, lighting and window shades. We probably would have had 30% less physical light switches and let the controller turn on and off lights based on our normal usage patterns. Same with window shades. We have a beautiful back yard and that wall is full windows. Awesome from noon on but hard on the eyes in the morning. Especially before coffee. We could have automated all of that and almost never had to touch a button.If you are looking to automate a new or existing home, talk to these guys. I’m very impressed with our results.
