Great place to find all of your artists needs. Including specialty items and hard to find items that you cant find at general art stores. Great selection of products ranging for all type of art needs. Pricing is a little high, but quality is also high. Well worth a visit. Also custom framing is available. Hobbyists can find quality airbrush parts for replacement and/ or repair.

I dont know why I ever even go to Michaels anymore. Great product, great prices and knowledgeable staff.

A very nice local art supplies store. They can have things other big box craft stores dont have. Their prices are decent but a bit high for some things. But the things are are high generally are items you cant find everywhere. If you want to support a local business I highly suggest going here.

An exceptional place to obtain all your art supplies, including acrylic and oils, paint, in several sizes and containers. Special spray paints,. Gesso, brushes, sculpture knives, pre-framed canvases in many different sizes and shapes. Rolls of canvas are also available. Stretcher bars for making your own, canvass. Many other art supplies are in stock.

I have been back multiple times to see if the popular strathmore watercolor paper was available in a certain size. Every time I go up there they have less and less stocked. I really like this little store, but as Ive been needing more supplies, they havent been restocking, wasting my time.

This is a cool store with a nice selection, but it doesn’t have as much variety or competitive prices with other art supply stores. You’re better off shopping at Blick or Artist & Craftsman Kansas City.

Staff is very helpful, and definitely knows their stuff. I went in looking for one thing, which wasnt in stock at this location. They found what I needed at their Westport location and gave me the option of having it put on hold so I could pick it up there, or having it transferred to their 105th location. I chose to have it transferred, and am very happy. I appreciate their knowledge and willingness to help me with my decisions.

Hands down, just the best and only place to go for artists/designers! In addition to having a wide selection of any needed supplies, the staff has been there for 30+ years! I know because Ive been getting my supplies there for that long! Need ideas or help, there is no place better.

Sales person was very friendly and helpful. Store is small and cramped but very neat and tidy. Not much of a selection of Watercolor paper though. I was also disappointed because they didnt have a good selection of watercolor field sketch books. Their selection of water color was Very good though. I was please to find Daniel Smith as well as Winsor Newton professional watercolors, my 2 favorites, on sale!

I love the store, and it is a Kansas City/Westport Icon. Most Hobby stores just dont carry the variety of professional and quality products that this store carries. Coldsnows has a great loyalty card program that gives a nice discount after buying a certain amount of products. I have come to really appreciate the help I get from store employee, Tim, that works at the Overland Park store. He is totally professional and very friendly. Other employees have not shown that same professionalism and thus the 4 star rating. Art stores seem to struggle, and so I try to give Coldsnow as much business as possible even though I have to drive from Lawrence, Ks..
