My husband and i worked with Pam regarding lighting for the entryway of our condo as well as a chandelier over our dinning table. We did not find anything in the store initially, however, Pam went the extra mile to find out what we were looking for and got out the manuals. She helped us successfully find matching lights that we were very excited about. Communication was great with Pam. She does exactly what she says she is going to do. I will definitely work with Pam on future lighting projects and will highly recommend her to others.

Pam was a pleasure to deal with. Pam helped us pick out all our lighting and fans for our new house build. She worked with me and my crazy schedule since we live out of state. Pam truly knows her stuff. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Pam was amazing!! I met with two other lighting companies here in Daytona and was very disappointed in their communication and knowledge. Then, when I went to Cates and explained what I was looking for with Pam, she not only got the order right the first time but took the time to sit down with me and develop our plan, list out the order, call the manufacturer to confirm everything was correct and then place the order!! All while I was there on the first visit! Neither other shop even offered to address the order until they could get to it. Pam really knows her product lines and has a great relationship with her suppliers. Everything was shipped and ready for pickup the day that she said it would arrive. I couldnt ask for better service and will be coming back for ALL of my lighting needs.

I was in a panic trying to check the million things off my list prior to our grand opening and I misplaced several electrical plates that were needed by our electrician to install the outside lights. I drove directly to Cates Lighting and spoke with Pam who literally understood everything I was saying when honestly I didnt! Beyond disappointed! 16 years of lighting experience she tells me...well great, but zero experience in politeness, pleasantness, or patience.
