Ive been to this location before a couple of years ago but decided to come here again on a whim (on a weekday, during the early afternoon, specifically on a Tuesday) and I feel like I hit the jackpot! It was definitely more busy than usual (especially coming here on a Tuesday, right after lunchtime) but I found some epic deals for sure!I found some cozy Aeropostale hoodies perfect for the fall/winter season coming up, found a cute fitted jacket, a cute blazer to go with jeans, and the best find of them all: authentic genuine leather cowboy boots, IN MY SIZE!Yes, it needs a bit of polishing, yes, it needs to be taken to the shoe cobbler to get a minor thing done. But guess what, I only spent thirteen dollars on it, which is phenomenal! Earlier this day I stopped by a more expensive thrift boutique. Saw a couple of cute cowboy boots, which cost between forty to fifty dollars. Then I had this thought, hey Savers, is less than two miles from here, maybe Ill get lucky. Then stopped at Savers, then I found these boots! Completely love it at first sight, besides the price! So yes, sometimes, Savers is a hit and miss, but this visit was a definite HIT! Racks were neat and tidy. However, due to the pandemic, they do not have any fitting rooms available to try on clothes at this time. You just have to buy it, try it at home, and bring it back for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase. Have to bring back receipt with clothes and TAGS still on it.

Not the best selection of clothing and in my opinion a lot of items were priced too high. (Some of the items were priced about the same I could get brand new at Old Navy or Walmart.) No negotiation on damaged items so expect that. They do have a great selections of art and frames and other household accents.

Do you love shopping in 90 degree heat? Is one of your favorite pastimes holding up items of clothing to your person and simply guessing whether they’ll fit/look good on you? Are you a fan of thrift shops who price outrageously high? Then I have some amazing news: the Orem Savers is YOUR PARADISE!After browsing the many racks today in what felt like the literal fires of hades, I took the (very) small selection of items I could find that were fairly priced to the north east end of the store, where the dressing rooms used to be - only to realize they were nowhere to be found. I don’t know if cleaning up after patrons got old (so hard when you WORK IN RETAIL, I’m sure) or what, but removing the dressing rooms entirely was the WRONG DECISION. Not only that, but I was told I could not try on items at all; not even over my own clothes. I was told that if an item doesn’t work out, I can return it (only if I have the receipt and the item has the original tag of course) for in-store credit that must be spent same-day. Why go through that hassle when I should be allowed to see how something fits me before I leave the store?!Get a clue and bring back dressing rooms! Make it easier for folks to reduce, reuse and recycle clothing. I’m giving two stars because historically I’ve found some screaming deals - not sure when things headed downhill.

As thrift stores have continued to become more trendy the prices have continued to rise. $10 to $15 for a pair of used pants that they received for free? Not sure I agree with that kind of pricing. I do appreciate some of the things they sell but $3 for a used paperback novel. Really? $4 for a used neck tie? I think the prices could easily be half what they are.

Savers is a great place to find amazing bargains. I love their half priced tags. Lately they have bumped up the prices on both furniture and clothes by quite alot, which is disappointing. My favorite sections are the books, shoes, office supplies and games. They took out the dressing rooms, but now offer 14 day exchange on clothing. It looks a bit dingy inside but dont let that deter you away. Just be sure to wash clothes before wear and check them carefully before purchasing. Especially the womans pants, in the back. There are many treasures to find.

The store had changing rooms For people to try on clothes. Now they have gotten rid of them. In order for people to try things on you had to change in the hallways which a lot of people do. But this is not good.I have also noticed from time to time men staring at women when they are changing and they don’t know that they are being looked at.This is not ok. It isn’t safe.

I like the fact that this for profit business provides jobs. I hate the donation process, it is chaotic, no one directing traffic, letting us know when to pull forward. The lady in front of me in the donation line had a cone put in front of her car so she could not pull forward to the empty donation site. No body came out to move the cone. After 10 minutes we moved the cone and pulled forward to the donation drop off. So a donation that should have taken 5 min. took 15 min. Yesterday I drove up there and the donations were closed. You cant call the place and speak to anyone to find out if they are accepting, all you get is recorded messages. I will drop my donated goods elsewhere. You would think a business that takes free items and sells them would treat the people donating those free items better.

Friendly staff but It is ridiculous that you dont have fitting rooms anymore to try clothes on and worse yet you can only return things for in-store credit without being able to try them on. The changed hours...only being open until 8:00pm now all the time are very disappointing. At least expand your weekend hours, its hard enough to work full time until 6:00 have dinner & try to make it there with much shopping time.

Sometimes you can find great deals and one of a kind clothing and books. Furnishings are reasonably priced. Mens jeans are overpriced so only get the jeans with the correct color for 50% off. Only use the bathroom if you are desperate and if you can tolerate the smell of an open, poopy diaper.

Visited this location this weekend just gone after I had to fill an hour of my time. I love thrift stores and the potential they offer to find amazing gems. The first thing I noticed about this savers was the large variety of selections. There were a lot of shoes, bags, dresses, clothes, niknaks and more. The store is really big and labelled well. I didnt have any issue finding anything. The negative aspect for me was the pricing as it is quite high for a second hand store. Some basic tshirts were $8+ and used shoes $20+.I didnt interact with the staff so I cant comment on that. There is a public rest room but it was pretty dirty.

We were trying to donate furniture at the donation site. We called ahead and asked if they accepted bulky furniture, and they said they did. When we got there, they said that they couldn’t accept our furniture because they had too much. The guy I talked to said that there’s a disconnect between the front desk and the donation section of Savers. If that’s the case, that needs to be fixed ASAP. So now we just wasted a bunch of time waiting in a line, we have to add more miles onto a rented UHaul truck, and we have to take items that could be reused to the dump.

Childrens Place jeans are marked higher than what Childrens Place often has them on sale for and my daughter looked at multiple things only to find they were really damaged and unwearable.

2021 update. We have stopped going to Savers nearly as much. They got rid of the dressing rooms. You cant try on clothes. What ends up happening is as a husband I dont feel safe for my wife. She has to try on clothes out in the hallways and we see men occasionally standing and watching women trying things on.Savers has seemed to turn a deaf ear to our requests to put back the dressing rooms. With no dressing rooms and a no-refund policy on clothing, we now shop more at Platos Closet and other places. (Savers policy is a two-week exchange policy on clothing)2020Excellent second hand store.Bought an Eddie Bauer winter coat for $8.Has housewares, clothes, toys, board games, books, shoes. The type of place you search for what you want. And if you do, you can find a good price. Many things are quite worn. But they get new things often, and give discounts if you donate things. For newer, used clothes that are stylish, I also like Platos Closet. But its not as inexpensive as Savers

NERVES. almost every visit. She literally scolded me for putting a small piece of furniture in my cart... She said I needed to inform someone in back that I was taking it. So I let her know that there was NEVER anyone around the help, it literally weighed 5 pounds and I was capable of carrying it without a cart even. I wasnt gonna have her making me feel bad for trying to buy a small piece of furniture. That was a few months back. Today I found a $2 small stool for my rocking chair. Literally weighed .2 points. Smaller than most of the toys there and once again she scolded me for not letting someone know. Thats enough to make me not want to go .. which is sad because I shop there a TON.

He started yelling at me in front of the people in the store. I just ignored him . I thought I should report it to a manager so I went to talk to one and she acted like she did not care if he yelled at me.
