Extremely professional, yet very personable. I enjoyed my experience at Ascent even though my insurance did not cover the cost of the hearing aids and my budget has forced me to look for other alternatives, I would still highly recommend Ascent audiology and their great staff.

Ive been seeing Dr. Vega at Ascent Audiology for many years and have always appreciated the professional and courteous service...the entire staff is awesome! They resolve any maintenance issues with my hearing aids quickly and efficiently and I always appreciate their attention to detail. Dr. Vega performed a hearing exam on me barely 3 weeks ago and I just left there today with my new hearing aids and they are fabulous...she has tuned and calibrated them perfectly and it is truly remarkable how well she has enabled me to hear. Was referred here by VA in American Lakes.Saved me a 2 1/2 hour trip!66 miles away from my home.Very clean office, efficient covidguidelines.Appointment was at 1:30 pm out by 2:15 pm.Yes! Everything was done in a timely manner.All questions were answered.Professional in giving instructions and what the test curtailed. From my first visit for my initial hearing test to getting my hearing aids, Dr. Vega and staff were professional, caring, and informative. I was referred by my wife when the VA couldnt take walk-ins to have my hearing aids fixed come to find out they are also a referral clinic for the VA Dr.Hesson put in for an appointment for me for the VA to transfer care I found out I was due for my New hearing aids and now I can hear again and Love how easy and painless they made the process for me which is no easy feat when it comes to the VA. Had issues with my Tricare referral because Tricare right? Well this office went above and beyond to help me fix Tricare’s failing and then helped schedule and reschedule because of them. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The audiologist took the time to help me understand my audiogram and what the next steps were. She was also very knowledgeable about the different types of hearing aides and the pros and cons of each one.

I thought I was going to get a hearing aid sales pitch. Quite the opposite. They did a thorough exam and concluded that a hearing aid wasnt for me!

This place does it all, hearing test, hearing aid fittings and if your not happy. Theyll do what ever they can to fix the problem and make it right.

I called and asked if they treated misophonia. The receptionist kept arguing with me telling me that they can’t tell me if they treat it until I get a referral. I explained that I was just asking if they have anybody that has the tools to know how to treat it so I could get the referral to go there if they do. I sent the referral anyways and they said they could treat me. Got there, and the audiologist says they can only do a hearing test. Then she refers me to psychological therapy, when misophonia is not a psychological issue. The audiologist was very nice, I just wish places could be straight up. So, if you’re wondering if this place treats misophonia, they don’t.

I feel this place could have done more than just a simple hearing test. This makes twice I left unhappy knowing theres more going on with the hearing than what a hearing test out of a booth does. Taking my buisness elswhere!

Dr. Vega is by far the best audiology Dr there its. Shes kind, caring & sympathetic & very, though with in-depth testing. Also, the best cochlear Dr in the Pacific Northwest.

All the staff are amazing. Drs obviously really know their stuff, which isnt always the case! They are so caring and compassionate and take as much time as needed to be sure their patients are not only educated on hearing aid care but can preform the required care - an area my elderly mother had difficulty with. We highly recommend them!

Good hearing aids although expensive...but very pricey follow ups/adjustments. When you pay that much $ for the devices, they should offer free lifetime adjustments or lower cost adjustments.

All staff members deeply care about their patients! Dr Vega gave me so much information I didnt know about hearings aids and tinnitus. Ive been looking for a hearing aid place that is similar to an experience to a doctors office and be treated like a real patient!!!!! Cost is SO worth the money!!

I have worn hearing aids for 20 years and as improvements are made, I have always tried to go with the best. My current hearing aids are Starky and work through my iPhone. Since moving to Lacey, I have had any number of concerns about the settings and have had several appointments with Dr. Vega. Recently she suggested an audiogram as I had not had one for a few years. In looking at the results, she recommended that Starky replace the receiver in my ear molds. That was three weeks ago and I can say, I am hearing better than ever. Dr. Vega is terrific in terms of listening and pursuing an answer to individual hearing issues. I highly recommend her services.

Yesterday was a life changer for me thanks to Dr. Vega. Ive been using hearing aids the past several years that were too hot. The frequencies were good and crisp but everything sounded excessively loud and almost metallic. After a consultation and audiogram, Dr. Vega explained how my ears were responding differentially to various frequency ranges and she suggested I try a new sound softening technology developed by WiDex. So she fitted me with WiDex BTE hearing aids, calibrated the settings on her computer, and did another live functional audiogram while I was wearing the hearing aids. Following the test, she made a few more adjustments and suddenly I was hearing better than I was in my 30s. She took the time to make sure I understood the nature of my hearing loss and the exact reason she was prescribing a change in my hearing aids. The hour she spent with me has literally changed my world (at least my auditory world). I cant thank you enough. From this point forward, Im seeing no one else for my hearing health. THANK YOU, DR. VEGA!!

I was told they would help me. Then they told me that it would be 300$ X 2 no medicaid no medicare. They should have a sign in the front that just says (phuck off) lair lair lair lair.
