Have lived a couple blocks from this place for almost five years. Honestly, I have never been disappointed when I go there looking for whatever random thing we need. They even had car oil. That one surprised and saved me. The one star loss is only for the customer service. Its not when you ask for specific things because theyre always very helpful. Its just the counter service. They just always seem super disinterested. Might just be an Olympia thing. Lived here most of my life and Olympia folks are a little slower paced. We will still keep coming back.

Olympia Supply has been an important hardware source for longer than my career of 42 years. All those years I could count on the store opening at 7:00 am during the work week and if I was a few minutes early and the door was open they were more than happy to get my business. With the NEW ownership the hours have been cut to 8:00 am and close in Sundays I have always gone out of my way to shop and support them but shuttering the hours has pretty much forced me to go to the box stores because of the late opening hoursI hope the new owner realizes there important business to be had earlier before its too lateTim Koehler

Based on my experience, the customer service provided was good. They were helpful. The store itself seemed clean and organized. The parking in front is parallel. The area is not the safest (fyi: lock your doors). Overall, a decent store overall and would return and recommend.

This was a great place to spend hours. Little drawers full of things you did not even know you needed.

I like coming here for convenience and for the good selection of items they carry. They’ve been around for a whole barrel full of years. They always have friendly staff willing to help.

Olympia Supply & Ace Hardware store is a very old establishment, going back many decades now and, they are still around so, that says a lot about the Company, who sells so many different things now. Olympia Ace Hardware has snow chains, and painting supplies, to garden materials, its a great place to shop for the things that are hard to find. Dont bother trying to buy stuff here unless you can find it yourself. I stood around for 20 minutes trying to buy some copper tubing. asked the people in the back they said ask in front. they called out over the PA and no one helped. asked the same guys in the back and they are to busy... not sure what they see doing because the store isnt busy. So off to Home Depot I go because I know they will actually see me what I want not be to busy

Always have a great experience at this hardware store. These folks are always there to help and they have always had everything I need. The only time they did not have what I needed was when I was looking for a Peanut Nut Roll made in St. Paul, MN. What did these guys do about? They ordered a case of them and keep them on the shelf now. Forget the huge chain, shop local.

Its more spendy than the big box hardware stores, but unlike those places Olympia Supply has a ready, knowledgeable staff always on hand to help. Their inventory is vast and wide-ranging. Its always my first choice in hardware stores!

Last i looked on the internet, this motel was a two star. Sure, there ate a lot of things that could be better. Im letting you all know this motel gets minimum 3 star rating from me. Large comfortable beds, refrigerator, microwave, tv, lots of space, clean, and quiet. Rest well

Even if they were a hotel, they would be great at it! The service I get from the Hardware store has been unmatched. My last visit I even picked up a few bottles of hand sanitizer and a box of disposable mask for the rona, both were hard to find in the beginning of the end. Ive had a few hand plans sharpened here for some of my carvings. all around great old school shop!

This is the classic thoroughly stocked hardware store that every town needs. The stock on hand appears to run the gamut from household cleaning and gardening supplies down to bins of obscure fasteners and repair parts. The big box stores may have stuff but this place probably has what you need.

Olympia Supply & Hardware is our go-to hardware store, now more than ever. They have excellent customer service, a surprisingly broad range of items in stock, and an excellent supply of stainless steel bolts, screws and hose clamps, as well as a large variety of hose and pipe fittings.

Not very organized. Had issues trying to get my online order picked up. Had my email notification with order # and still had a long wait to find the order.

I love this place! I appreciate the attentiveness & knowledge base of the owners and employees. Today, I walked into Olympia Supply supporting a preschooler on my hip, and signage in my free hand. I was immediately offered support and Bobby helped decipher my hardware needs given my rudimentary hardware lingo as well as, size the right screw eyes and screw links. Then, he went beyond my expectations and predrilled the holes for my screw eyes on my signage. He also offered to carry the signage to my car so I could focus on my little one.This wonderful experience really made my day and helped me get closer to my small business dreams. They have always been helpful and kind. When i come in just for a few ballbearings, or for larger purchases, Im always greeted with smiles and the same level of customer service. Places like this, that treat you the same if you are spending twenty five cents, or two hundred dollars, are 100% worthy and deserving of love and dedication. Im going to be continuing to come here for all hardware needs.

Large hardware supply store which is also affiliated with Ace Hardware. Great customer service. This store has been at this location since 1946, which is absolutely remarkable! I could lose myself browsing the aisles while imagining my next home project!

This place was terrible. I called asking for a specific part and the guy I talked to went back to the shelf and said they had it. I double checked that it was the correct thing I wanted and he confirmed that it definitely was what I wanted. When I came in the next day they said they dont have anything like that in the store. The guy at the front counter was very blunt and was more interested in leaving right at closing than being helpful at all even though it wasnt closing time yet. Dont expect to get good customer service or honesty when shopping here especially if its within an hour of closing time.

I needed an older style plumbing fixture unavailable at big box stores. A local plumbing supplier had one, and wanted $50 (probably presuming I wouldt be able to fine one elsewhere). Olympia Hardware had one in the back, and the cost was $12.Lesson: If youre striking out, try here, or better yet, try here first!

Absolutely the best hardware store in the state, hands down. Surpasses all the big box stores in every way-- not only a great inventory, but most importantly, a friendly staff that is knowledgeable about what it sells. They had plumbing items not found elsewhere in retail stores and cut and threaded the pipe as I waited. Plus, you are supporting a longtime local family business which honors KAOS radio membership ( a 10% discount!) Check them out- you wont be disappointed!

So glad to have a full service hardware store downtown. I can find what I need quickly and be in and out in a few minutes, and keep moving on my projects. Hats off to hometown hardware stores!

This place has a very good selection of tools, nuts and bolts, irrigation, canning supplies, plumbing, metal stock, ladders, etc. etc. etc. If you cant find it, ask -- in March I needed some red Christmas bulbs -- no problem, follow me. Here you may have to duck under pipes, wear warm clothes, even occasionally wish for a flashlight. There are drawers and shelves and cubby holes and things needing someone with a ladder. But also here usually are better products found in less time and with less packaging than you ever can at a big box store. If I have the choice, this is where I go.No lumber, no big appliances, no chandeliers. (But they do sell ice cream bars, at the front door.)

The people here are friendly and helpful. Prices are decent. As far as supplies, I havent done anything major in a while, so I cant really say, but it seems like they have a pretty good selection.

The employees at Olympia Supply are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they .carry items that one doesnt find at the big box stores - an unusual pvc fitting, an extra long stainless bolt, a plumbing part, etc.

They just dont care about the customer!I just purchased 20 feet of rope for 2.69 per foot, which comes up to 53.80. For some reason they charged me 143.00 after military discount. while i was still in the store the math didnt seamed right, i mean 20 times 2 equals 40 so my bill should be around 50 bucks. so i went back to the cashier and told them that they made a mistake. ofcourse they gave my money back but nobody said that is sorry or apologized to me. No ownership of making a mistake and no good customer service nor good customer manners. they just dont care!
