Came in to get an engagement ring looked at because we noticed the center stone was loose after only a couple days of wearing it. In the pictures they took under the microscope you can clearly see one of the prongs were not properly pressed onto the diamond. They told me it would cost about $100 dollars to repair. I brought up the 12 month mounting guarantee and she told me that it didnt exist. I pulled up Kays website and showed her the guarantee and read it out loud to her. She said Well Ive been doing this for years so youre gunna have to pay to get it done.

I stopped in to ask a question about some work I needed done, I was rudly treated by Shelby, because she did not approve of my face shield. I checked the company guidelines and it said that it had to cover my mouth and nose, which mine did. Two other employees were sitting 2 ft away from each other when we walked up and they both were not wearing a mask at all. I returned to the store the following day to have work done, and Shelby made it a point to single us out again for our mask and even got the manager. I showed them what their company said about face coverings, and I was told if I did not put on theirs I would have to leave. I did cover my other mask. I cant believe the way they treated us. Even showing them what their own company standards were and that I was compliant with them.

Always feel valued and listened to at Kay with every purchase. The employees are happy in their jobs, because the amount of knowledge they about products and the history of brands, and types of metals is remarkable. Makes me as a customer feel confident in my purchases. 7 watches later, 1 necklace, 2 bracelets, 2 pairs of diamond earrings, pinky ring and Im happy with every purchase, never pressured to buy. 😁 I wont shop anywhere else.

Went in to get my necklace and 2 rings checked and cleaned they did gladly. I had my Ben Bridge necklace and I told them that Ben Bridge would not so they did. Also told us to get that necklace insured and appraised. Very helpful and informative. Went back March 18th wanting a larger necklace with a bigger diamond and Shenae helped us. Found the perfect necklace and diamond. She told us to come back the 19th and get a sale deal. We did and came back bought the necklace with diamond and saved alot of money. They are so friendly and helpful. Kay is our favorite jewelry store. A must if your looking for a idea of what you want or what they have. Quite a selection. Very helpful even with the Coronavirus restrictions. Thank you💙

Spent hours online researching and trying to find the perfect watch for my husbands birthday, decided to go in and look in person at the couple watches I really liked and I was not disappointed by the women who helped me! Hailey went above and beyond with the customer service and her caring personality. She made sure I found the perfect watch that fit all of my husbands needs and was in my price point.I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to really help me find exactly what I was looking for, she even wrapped it and put a nice bow on top. I highly recommend this Kay Jewelers, and appreciate the customer service I received from Hailey.

Be prepared for false promises to secure your sale. Was instructed by the associate to not stress purchasing the protection plan on my wedding band (purchased coverage on every other eligible purchase prior), as it would not be eligible for repair, and that if their was a fault with the piece it would simply be replaced by the jeweler. Over the years I have shopped with Kay (will be switching jewelers) i have never been helped by the same associate, they seem to have an ever-revolving door for turnover, which opens a window to easily toss any accountability over inaccurate information.Shop local.

Horrible customer service experience. My fiancé and I got engaged in May and I took my ring in to get a prong fixed. Dropped it off October 24th 2020 and got ONE email update that it arrived at their “service center” and I got no additional emails. My “promise back date” was November 20th 2020 and that didn’t happen I received no information from the store I couldn’t get ahold of them I had to call corporate to make sure the store was still open and corporate called -also couldn’t get ahold of this store. Finally I called way later in the day and they told me my ring would have to be overnighted and they “promised” I would get it no later than Monday November 23rd. I didn’t hear anything Monday so I called and they told me the same thing my ring was at the service center and would have to be overnighted. Again I called on the Wednesday November 25th and again I didn’t hear anything from the store so I took it on myself to be responsible and call to figure out what’s going on with MY engagement ring again the same thing they didn’t have my ring it would have to be overnighted. I was so fed up I called corporate. They told me there was too many red flags with this store that they were opening an investigation into this situation and would get back to me. Gave me a ticket number and everything. I still haven’t heard anything from them since Wednesday November 25th. After getting off the phone with corporate the store called me for the first time ever and said they had my ring for days. Literally the most unprofessional and disappointing experience especially being newly engaged. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They will lie to you and keep your property from you for literally no reason.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Very poor customer service, I lost a few diamonds in my ring, it is a beautiful ring but this is my 7th diamond that has fallen out and the manager is refusing to pull up my account to see that I have had issues with this ring, she claims she can’t see them. Yet, I can see them all under my account as well as every time my ring has been sent off. A $7,000 ring should not have so many diamonds falling out, I work an office job nothing crazy!!! Super disappointed, bad service and bad quality! My husband even bought the warranty on the ring!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I love this store. I have been shopping with Kay Jewelers for 6 years. I travel an hour one way just for the service. I have had special pieces made and there wasnt any problems having it done. Everyone here takes special care of each customer. Many times I have come in with all my kids for my inspection and the staff didnt mind. They even answered all the kids questions. Customer for life.

CONSUMERS BE CAREFUL! We purchased our wedding rings at this location. When we made the purchase, we also purchased the lifetime warranty which had the requirement of having our rings inspected every six months. We fulfilled this requirement for 15 years. Upon the last inspection, the technician knew that a prong was broken on the ring but sad the stone was solid. Sadly, the 1/2 carat heart shaped diamond fell out of the setting and was lost seven months after this inspection. I called this store and continued up the chain, requesting that the care plan be honored. I was only told that I could purchase a new solitaire for $2,000 because I was one month past the inspection. So, after having the ring inspected for 15 years and the technician knowing a prong was broken, Kay Jewelers said they would not honor the purchased care plan. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE and I will continue to advise others to choose a jewelry store that will honor a warranty. It is obviously all about the money at Kay Jewelers and not the customer.

A few years ago I took my grandmothers diamond to these people for a reset. And at the time they also added a diamond band on both sides of the ring. Although I loved the look of the ring I didnt wear it much because it was to wide with the added bands. Then one night I brought it out for a special occasion and noticed that the diamond was crooked. So within a week I took it back to the store asking for it to be fixed. They refused ,not without charging me because it had been over a year. I was upset for many reasons. Number one, was their attitude. Number two, somethings change drastically with time,but not jewelry. Number three, shabby work is shabby work, and I shouldnt have to pay to have it repaired. So since then I have had the side rings removed, and I gave the other ring to my daughter which only refreshed my memory of why I would never shop there again!!! They want to paid for their mistakes!!

Horrible. Dont shop here. Bought wedding ring and was suggested the ring 3 sizes too big so naturally was lost within the week. Wouldnt even swap over the protection plan bought for ring to the the fully priced 2nd ring I was forced to buy, and yet again got ring size wrong. Less than a year owning 2nd ring with discomfort already chipped. Low quality shop, dont bother

Walked in and got ignored by an older staff member, she purposely acknowledged every other customer standing around us then proceeded to turn her back to us when they didn’t need help. Pretty poor customer service. After waiting for about 5 minutes for help an associate finally came out of the back and helped us. There were 3 people working on the sales floor before she got to us. All we needed was our jewelry that I previously bought cleaned. It honestly felt like we were being ignored because of our age. The only redeeming quality about this store is the girl who helped us. She was helpful and moved over the purchase history of the items into one account for ease.

We have been repeat customers because of their awesome customer service. Shenae the manager has always been very kind putting up with us always coming in to have our jewelry cleaned and she always takes the time to chat even when she is busy. Sharon and Tara have been so great helping me with a problem from another jewelry store and it felt more like hanging with girlfriends then me being just their customer. They remembered my name, helped me fill a wish list, and even smiled at pictures of my grandson. Sharon is a spitfire and really stood up for me and super appreciated the extra time and effort she put in for me. Tara always kind and patient while I shop and try things on and helps me remember what I like. Shenae always has a great smile and bubbly nature about her. Thank you girls for doing above and beyond for my husband and I. Jareds wishes they had you 3. They have lost me as a customer and you all have gained me for life! Thank you!!!

My son bought a wedding ring at Kay jeweler in Tacoma Mall during last Christmas visit from Korea. They had only one size and to get the right size takes 2-3 weeks , which he could not wait. Ring was way too big for his fiancé in Korea. I called the Tacoma Kay jeweler to find the way to get the right size, however they do not answer the phone for a very long time, possibly very busy. So I called the Kay jeweler in Olympia mall, their assistant manager,Mr.Ryan, answered the phone right away.******assistant manager, Mr.Ryan is the best and the most patient person listening our ring size problem in Korea******* he is exceptionally kind and professional, providing the solution. He was very kind and willing to solve our problem with wrong size ring in Korea. ***** if every store has a person like Mr.Ryan, shopping should be very comfortable and pleasant thing to do.***** I felt very very lucky to call Olympia Kay jeweler and had Mr.Ryans help.*****I hope he stays in olympia Kay jeweler for very long time so we could comfortably buy jewelry at his store.

My fiancé was working with a woman named Kylie. She was absolutely terrible. When my fiancé picked my ring up right before me proposed she looked it over and let him leave with the band completely deformed, a cracked diamond, the prongs were uneven..... and not to mention.... I had my ring on my finger for two hours before I had to take it back to the store because another diamond fell out..... this is what they call quality work?!? She took away so much from the excitement of the engagement. This was not a cheap ring either.... you would thing with spending over 6 grand they would produce quality work.... this also was just a couple of the headaches we faced with this ring. Kylie was terrible and rude and yeah... never see Kylie if you go to kays at the Olympia mall. Terrible service and quality of work!

Fiancé bought a ring, went up to this store to get it sized, they said they would order one in the right size and we could just exchange it. Waited 2 months and finally called them to figure out what was going on and they didn’t have mine or my fiancé’s info in the system or so they claimed but we have bought jewelry here multiple times so they should have our names in the system. Long story short, had a $4,000 ring since August 2018 and can’t even wear it because they keep messing around with us. I don’t recommend this store at all and I will be returning the ring and taking my business elsewhere.

I have been shopping at Kay jewlers for many years now. I have never found a more helpful person then kylie. I placed a special order for my wife for Christmas. She made sure to walk me through the entire process. To make sure no detail was missed, and to look over as many pieces as I wanted to make sure I picked the one I really wanted. She made sure to call me the moment that the jewler called, and said there was a delay. However she had the piece back to me in time for Christmas. My wife could not have been happier. I will advise all those heading to Kay to seek out kylie. Her knowledge and customer service is exceptional.

I have literally been here FIVE times in the past 3 months trying to get my ring to fit my finger. Everytime I come in an employee has me find my size, then writes it down and tells me it will be about 3-4 weeks until its back but when it finally returns for pick up its the same size as before and this last time seemed bigger than it has ever been. The replacement for a small diamond that had fallen out is dark grayish in color and clearly isnt the same quality as the original. I decided to pay another source to resize and clean my ring and it was back to me in 1 week and has never fit better. Kay jewelers sucks & I wouldnt recommend them to anybody.

My guy bought me a diamond band from here and I brought it back for its 6 months inspection and a diamond was cracked in half so they send it out for repairs (since I have the insurance on it) the wait time was 2 weeks! Got my ring back and 4 days later the diamond they replaced fell out, was drying hands after washing them and I looked down n notice a hole where the diamond they replaced was located, took it back to have em send it off again and then wait another 2 weeks for it to come in, so I finally get it back and i noticed that it was snagging on things like towel or my clothes so i took it back for the 3rd time and they said they have to send it off for them to fix it and re-tip the prongs n again waited the 2 weeks and then get it back all was well for 1.5 months and then a prong pulled my hair n back to Olympia i went mind u we live 30 miles away, they dealt with my man and basically told us that our ring has been discontinued (for obvious reasons) and he can trade it back to em for a different but similar diamond band only the employee was going to trade it straight across then the manager comes out n said nope he has to pay the 60$ difference---- very dissatisfied!!! Never again from kay Jewelers! Only business Ill give em in taking my ring to be cleaned or inspected for my warranty/insurance reasons...
